Mary Claire Filippelli

Mary Claire Filippelli, 90, of Reisterstown, died Friday February 10, 2012 at her home.
Born August 3, 1921 in Archbald, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Dougher and Mary Kielty Dougher. She was married
to Robert P. Filippelli for 64 years.
Mary Claire was a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family above all. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon, where she was a member of the Sodality. Mary Claire was a member of the charitable organization, The Glyndon Quilters.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children: Mary Filippelli of Reisterstown, Frank Filippelli and wife Ria Meagher of Devon, PA, Cecilia Filippelli Hazel of Reisterstown, Kathleen Filippelli of Reisterstown, and Michael Filippelli and wife Elaine Beck of Towson; her 10 grandchildren; and her 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road Owings Mills with A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon.
Interment will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Sisters of St. Joseph, Development Office, 9701 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
LeRoy Whitman Schaefer
(July 12, 1941 - January 1, 2012)
LeRoy Whitman Schaefer, 70, of Manchester died Sunday, January 1, 2012 at his residence.
Born July 12, 1941 in Owings Mills, he was the son of the late Frank Norman Schaefer, Sr. and Jeanette Evelyn Hare Schaefer. He was the husband of Karen Lee Isensee Schaefer, his wife of 42 years.
He retired from Black and Decker with 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved the outdoors and landscaping.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Dana Schaefer and Jeffrey Schaefer and his wife Heather; his grandchildren Justin Tawney, Jarett Ditch, and Allison Schaefer; his siblings Frank N. Schaefer, Jr. and his wife Julia, and Evelyn Gregory and her husband Claude; his sister-in-law Sue Schaefer; his father-in-law Charles Isensee; his brother-in-law Steven Isensee and his wife Susan; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother James Schaefer and mother-in-law Helen Isensee.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
The service and interment will be private.

Robert John Weisner
(January 11, 1947 - December 28, 2011)
Robert John Weisner, 64, of Manchester died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at his residence.
Born January 11, 1947 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George and Mary Weisner. He was the husband of Dolores Dietz Weisner, his wife of 41 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army serving from 1968 to 1970.
Surviving in addition of his wife are his children Andy and Kelly Weisner; his grandchildren Dixie and Aurora; his sisters Mary Meagher and Regina Welch; and his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
The service and interment will be private.

Douglas R. Warner, Jr.
(April 10, 1935 - January 9, 2012)
Douglas R. Warner, Jr., 76, of Reisterstown died Monday, January 9, 2012 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born April 10, 1935 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Douglas R. Warner, Sr., and Margaret Michael Warner. He was the husband of Margaret Dunbar Warner, his wife of 55 years.
He retired from NSA in 1993. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus, Immaculate Lady Council Reisterstown Optimist Club, and National Railway Historical Society.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Mary Warner Eccleston and her husband Joe, Douglas R. Warner, III and his wife Deborah, Martin Warner and his wife Sandra, George Andrew Warner and his wife Jackie, and Margaret Warner Hansen and her husband Karl; a sister Helen Frances Byron; and his 16 grandchildren and his 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon, 65 Sacred Heart Ln.
Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Amelia Bystrak
(September 23, 1923 - January 12, 2012)
Amelia Bystrak, 88, of Manchester, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Longview Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born Sept. 23, 1923, in Binghamton, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth Zlock. She was the wife of Paul Bystrak, her husband of 64 years, who died June 1, 2010.
She was a 1941 graduate of Binghamton High School.
She was a volunteer for the Red Cross, a Candy Striper, and a member of the Retired Officers Wives Club. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Paul and Linda Bystrak, Danny Bystrak and Barbara Anderson, and Steve and Pamela Bystrak; a daughter, Colleen Abbott; grandchildren and spouses Karl and Stephanie Bystrak, Will Abbott, Jennifer Abbott, Chelsea Bystrak and Rebekah Bystrak; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Zlock; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Rudolph and Barbara Bystrak.
She was recently predeceased by her brothers George and Steve Zlock; and a sister-in-law, Mary Zlock.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at Arlington National cemetery in Arlington, Va.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD. 21157.

Richard Max Wolf
(May 26, 1954 - January 24, 2012)
Richard Max Wolf, 57 years old of Reisterstown, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at his home.
Born May 26, 1954 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Andrew “Andy” M. and Nellie Frances Crytzer DeBlase.
He was a graduate of Franklin High School in 1972. He was a foreman in the construction field. He enjoyed spending time with his family, granddaughters and friends.
He is survived by his children: Gina Marie Sturm of Colorado and Richard Andrew Wolf of Reisterstown, sister Marsha Fonte of Reisterstown, granddaughters Mary and Erica Sturm, his former wife Therese Fiore-Arthur as well as other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister Pamela F. Myers.
Friends May call on Sunday 6-8 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, where a service will be held at 7:30 PM.
Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
Dorothy Klug Whippo
(May 10, 1923 - January 28, 2012)
Dorothy Klug Whippo, 88, of Owings Mills, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Resthaven Nursing Home in York, Pa.
Born May 10, 1923, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. Klug and Marie Alt Klug Michel. She was the wife of Robert Burton Whippo Sr., her husband of 51 years, who died in 1994.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and formerly a member of the Women's Club of Glyndon. She was a seamstress most of her life. Years ago she had worked for Jo Ann Fabrics and managed the fabric shop at Hochschild Kohn's.
Surviving are daughter and son- in-law Cheryl W. Dodd and Ellis Dodd, of Towson; son and daughter-in-law Robert B. Whippo Jr. and Katherine Cook-Whippo, of Stewartstown, Pa.; and grandchildren Matthew Dodd and Brian Whippo.
She was predeceased by a son, Thomas David Whippo.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
