Lindsay Martin Drechsler, Sr.
(October 16, 1937 - April 22, 2012)
Lindsay Martin Drechsler Sr., 74, of Reisterstown, died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at home.
Born Oct. 16, 1937, in Maryland, he was the son of the late George A. Drechsler and Myrle Fair Drechsler. He was the husband of Barbara Ann Cook Drechsler, his wife of 48 years.
He was the owner and operator of L.M. Drechsler Lawn service since 1963 and was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed bluegrass music and played the guitar. In his spare time he enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Lindsay Jr. and Marci Drechsler, of Reisterstown; daughter and son-in-law Judith and Brian King, of Reisterstown; grandchildren Thomas Jr., Andrew and Melinda Lewis, and Chelsy Janney; siblings Louise Groomes, of Littlestown, Pa., Betty Cummings and Gilbert Drechsler, both of Westminster, James Drechsler, of Manchester, and Herman Drechsler, of Taneytown.
He was predeceased by siblings George "Bud" Drechsler Jr. and Leslie Drechsler.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
Brianna Michiko Izquierdo
(April 11, 2001 - September 9, 2014)
Brianna Michiko Izquierdo, 13, passed away suddenly on September 9, 2014 at her home.
Born April 11, 2001 in Towson, she was the daughter of Christopher D. Izquierdo and Ellen Emiko Hirota Izquierdo of Hampstead.
She was an honors student at North Carroll Middle School. In her spare time, she was an artist and enjoyed drawing. Her passion was her love for horses and this inspired her to volunteer at the Horse and Donkey Rescue.
Surviving her is her brother Logan, her grandparents, aunts, uncle, cousins, and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.

Phyllis Marie Rill
(September 28, 1930 - September 5, 2014)
Phyllis Marie Rill, 83, of Manchester, MD died Friday September 5, 2014 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born September 28, 1930 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth Eckstine. She was the wife of Francis Rill, her husband of 62 years.
She had worked as a nurse’s aide for the Carroll County Health Department. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, the Snydersburg Homemakers, where she has been a member for 43 years, and the North Carroll Senior Center. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters Sarah Robrecht of Denver, CO and Billie Taylor and husband Jerry of Manchester; her brother John Eckstine of Hagerstown; her grandchildren Nate Robrecht, Tamyra Wallace, Andy and Bonnie Taylor; her 2 great-granddaughters.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester and 10 a.m. Monday until time of funeral service, 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, 1616 Cape Horn Road, Snydersburg with her pastor the Rev. Gary Hawkins officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Mark’s U.C.C. Cemetery.

Rosalie Marlene Jones
(July 9, 1965 - September 2, 2014)
Rosalie Marlene Jones, 49, of Towson passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Manor Care of Dulaney Valley.
Born July 9, 1965 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Clarence M. Malone, Jr. and Airabella P. Caton Malone. She was the wife of Steven Jones.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughters Sarah Malone and Stephanie Jones; her sisters Deborah L. Malone and husband Scott McCabe and Karen E. Caltrider and husband Donald; her brother Clarence M. Malone, III and wife Donna; her half sister Pamela S. Temple.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1375 N Main St, Hampstead with interment to follow at St. Abrahams Cemetery.

Jack Dell
(March 27, 1935 - October 18, 2014)
John Francis “Jack” Dell, age 79, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy, PA.
Born March 27, 1935 in Manchester, he was the son of the late David Francis Dell and Mary Catherine Keck Dell. He was the husband of Emma Marie Phipps Dell, his wife of 59 years.
He worked for Black & Decker for 50 years and also enjoyed farming. He had a strong faith in the Lord and loved attending church. He enjoyed gardening, collecting Farmall Tractors, watching the Orioles, spending time with his family, and listening to music.
Surviving him are his children Debbie Dell Sams of York, PA, Brenda Dell Landis of Glen Rock, PA, John Francis Dell, II of Rock Hill, SC, and Cathy Dell of York, PA; his grandchildren Nathan, Leslie, Ashley, Sophia, Brittany, Calah, and Joshua; his great-grandchildren Madison, Jordan, Jack, Audriana, Elijah, Eden, Malachi, Ezra, and Leal; his siblings Charles “Bud” Dell and Richard Dell both of Manchester, and Susan Locascio of Westminster.
The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Manchester Baptist Church, 2933 Manchester Baptist Road, Manchester, MD where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with his pastor the Rev. David Scafide and Rev. Alan Maxwell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Manchester Baptist Church Cemetery, Manchester, MD.

David D. Dickey, Jr.

David D. Dickey, Jr. 84 years old of Owings Mills, died Wednesday, October 8, at the Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.
He was the husband of the late Betty L. Dickey who died in 2007. He was the father and father-in-law of Daniel and Jodie Dickey and dear companion of Dottie Ensor.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, where services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM.
Interment in Mt. View Cemetery.

Sharon Elizabeth O’Brien, 60, of Reisterstown passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at her daughter’s home.
She was the mother of Carrie A. Keeney and husband George, and Michael J. O’Brien and wife Amanda; grandmother of Kieran Keeney; sister of Cynthia Alphioroff and husband Christian, William Fisher, Frederick Fisher, Gail Henry, Charles Fisher and wife Lynn, and Russell Fisher; sister-in-law of Richard Hood and predeceased by her sister Diana Hood.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester. The family will receive friends Noon Saturday until time of service, 1 p.m. at The ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills.
