Grace U. White
SALISBURY -- Grace U. White, 83, of Salisbury died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Md.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton C. White. She was born in Salisbury and was a member of Women of the Moose.
She is survived by a son, Carlton E. White in Fredericksburg, Va.; two grandchildren, Diane Louise Lama of Fredericksburg and Carol Jean Shomo of Warrenton, Va.; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. The Rev. Edwin Dennis will officiate.
Arrangements are being handled by Holloway Funeral Home at 501 Snow Hill Road in Salisbury.
William Robert Riley Sr.
BERLIN -- William Robert Riley Sr., 85, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Benjamin F. Riley Sr. and Bertha E. Smiley Riley.
He is survived by his wife, Etha Linda Ireland Riley; a son, William R. Riley Jr. and his wife, Lynn, of Forest Hill, Md.; a daughter, Donna J. Evans and her husband, Bob, of Finksburg, Md.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betsy Azzaro of New Haven, Conn., Mary Catherine Buttner of Airville, Pa., and Bertha Justice of Ellicott City, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A brother, Benjamin F. Riley Jr., preceded him in death.
Mr. Riley was a U.S. Army chief warrant officer, had served from 1939 to 1978 and had worked as an automotive maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the 29th Infantry Division, was a life member of the National Guard of the United States and the National Guard of Maryland.
Friends may call Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Easton.

Henry E. Jester
CHINCOTEAGUE -- Henry E. "Harry" Jester, 75, of Chincoteague died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004.
Born Dec. 10, 1928, in Chincoteague, he was a son of the late Ebe T. Jester and Alleta M. (Watson) Jester.
He was employed by Conectiv for 42 years. He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Chincoteague, past president of Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company and past member of the Town Council.
He is survived by his wife, Miriam J. Jester; a daughter, Gail and husband, Jimmy Beauchamp, of Delmar; son, Ronald and wife, Cindy Jester, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; daughter, Debbie and husband, David Lewis, of Chincoteague; brother, Robert C. and wife, Van Jester, of Florida; special daughter, Libby Jester of Chincoteague; and special daughter, Carolyn and husband, Billy Reed, of Chincoteague. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by Sister Margaret Roney and infant brother Curtis Jester.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Kevin Eley officiating. A visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 9 at Salyer Funeral Home in Chincoteague. Burial will be held in Downing cemetery in Oak Hall.

Ruth T. McAllister Coonrod
SALISBURY -- Ruth T. McAllister Coonrod, 81, of Salisbury died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at her home with her family by her side.
Born in Quantico, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Cora Lowe Taylor. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Robert McAllister, in 1946 and her second husband, William T. Coonrod, in 1980.
Mrs. Coonrod was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Salisbury.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Robert C. and Martha P. McAllister of Culpepper, Va.; four grandchildren, James Robert McAllister of Garden City, Kan., Elizabeth McAllister of Newark, Del., Sarah McAllister of Nashville, Tenn., and Margaret McAllister of Newark; and two great-grandchildren, Emily McAllister of Newark and Olivia McAllister of Garden City.
She was preceded in death by a brother, R. Henry Taylor.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home, with calling time one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Dean Defino will officiate. A private interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.

Eva L. Bozman
DAMES QUARTER -- Eva L. Bozman, 74, of Dames Quarter passed away Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at Manokin Manor Nursing Home in Princess Anne.
Born in Oriole, she was a daughter of the late Ranzie Laird and Eva Bloodsworth Laird.
She was a homemaker, beloved mother, grandmother and cherished friend. She was a member of Walker Memorial Church of God in Princess Anne.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, William C. Bozman; two daughters, Margaret Vaughn and Doris Ann Bozman; a grandson, Robert Wells Jr.; one brother, Clifton Laird; and five sisters, Eunice Laird, Margaret Dashield, Maurcine Campbell, Elizabeth Heath and Irene Jacob.
She is survived by nine children, Irene Bozman, Libby Parks and husband, Buster, Bonnie Wells and husband, Bobby, Jerry Bozman and wife, Mary Beth, Charles "Peanut" Bozman and wife, Terry, all of Princess Anne, William "Pee-Wee" Bozman of Annapolis, Everett Bozman of Champ, a dearly beloved daughter, Terry Bozman, and Billie Jean Miller and husband, Larry, of Salisbury. She is also survived by grandsons, Jamie Parks, Jason Miller, Jonathon Bozman, Lee Bozman, John Calvin Jones, Ryan Bozman and Anthony Wells; granddaughters, Amber Bozman, Dolly Bennett, Rebekah Bozman, Sarah and Jessica Wells and Carlie Bozman; a great-granddaughter, Alexis Bozman; a sister, Marie Wallace; a dear friend, Judy Vaughn; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, where friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 and Wednesday one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Phillip Morris and the Rev. William Hankins will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peters United Methodist cemetery in Oriole.
Edward W. Cooper
WILLARDS -- Edward W. Cooper, 90, of Willards died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at the Salisbury Center: Genesis ElderCare in Salisbury.
Born in Willards, he was a son of the late Clarence Cooper and Stella Bratten Cooper.
In 1982, he retired from the Maryland State Highway Administration after 45 years of service as maintenance supervisor. He was a member of Eden United Methodist Church in Willards and the Maryland Classified Employees Association.
He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis A. Esham and her husband, Albert; a brother, Johnny Cooper, and a sister, Peggy Greenwalt, all of Willards; five grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Cooper, in 1992.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at New Hope cemetery in Willards with the Rev. Rhoda Harris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Willards Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 38, Willards, Md. 21874.

Lazaro Roberto Rosales
SALISBURY -- Lazaro Roberto Rosales, 78, of Salisbury died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at his home in Salisbury.
Born in Lima, Peru, he was the son of the late Lazaro and the late Sophia Rosales Ortiz.
He was a loving father and grandfather, a simple man with strong beliefs in family values and God. He was a local businessman owning his own cosmetics store for many years.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Luis and Carol Rosales of Salisbury; grandchildren, Jonathan, Katie and Ryan Rosales of Salisbury; and his former wife, Hilda Carmen Gouge of Salisbury.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of St. Francis in Salisbury.
