Robert H. Bell
EDEN -- Robert H. Bell, 58, of Eden died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Born in Shelltown, he was the son of Mary Garvey and the late Robert Alan Bell.
His twin brother, Allan Bell, preceded him in death.
Mr. Bell was a member of Nanticoke United Methodist Church and in the past was a volunteer in the Salisbury Fire Department. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a truck driver for Pepsi, Eagle Transport and retired from Triangle Oil in 1995 after 23 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Brenda Lee Bell; four children, Charlotte Pittman of Tyaskin, Jerry Nelson and his wife, Amy, of Nanticoke, Bobby Bell and his companion, Shiloh, and former daughter-in-law, Kim Bell, and Vicki McGinnis and her husband, Jesse, of Delmar; and eight grandchildren, Brandon Pittman, Ryan and Erin Bell, Heather and Tyler McGinnis and Jesse, Kaleb and Jordan.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Nanticoke United Methodist Church, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. John Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
Arrangements are being handled by Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury.
Joseph Stephen Kaster
OCEAN PINES -- Joseph Stephen Kaster, 78, of Ocean Pines died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
He was born in Minersville, Pa.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa C. Kaster. He was the devoted father of Patrice K. Walker and her husband, Burke, of Massachusetts and Susan E. Glaeser of Baltimore. He was the loving grandfather of Justin B., Lory A., Kelly A. and Blair L. Walker and Ryan E., Erika A., Alexis E. and Jason M. Glaeser and the dear brother of Robert A. Kaster and his wife, Georgene, of Pennsylvania.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, May 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cockeysville, Md. Interment was in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium, Md.
Arrangements were handled by Brian T. Chisholm Funeral Services of Dulaney Valley, P.A., in Timonium.
Shirley Bowden Morgan
NEWARK, Md. -- Shirley Anne Bowden Morgan, age 63, died Thursday, May 12, 2005, at her home.
Born in Newark, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Bowden and Edith Powell Bowden.
She is survived by her husband, James Curtis Morgan; a brother, Harvey J. Bowden and his wife, Bertha, of Eden; two sisters, Gladys Williams and her husband, Ralph, of Libertytown and Barbara Miller and her husband, George, of Newark; and very special nieces and nephews, Steve Orth, Karen Parker, Bobby Bowden, David Alberts, Lynn Hackensmith, George Bowden, Wayne Bowden, Donna Ralston and Harvey Bowden Jr.
Mrs. Morgan had worked for many years at Showell Farms and Perdue Farms. She had attended First Baptist Church in Berlin and Trinity United Methodist Church and Bowen United Methodist Church, both in Newark.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bowen United Methodist Church cemetery. The Rev. Shirley Evans will officiate.

Rita Margaret Murtagh
BERLIN -- Rita Margaret Murtagh, age 70, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, in Atlantic City, N.J.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Michael Murtagh and Julia Clancey Murtagh.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen, Pat, Anne and Catherine.
She had been an accountant for many years with the New York Telephone Co. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines.
She is survived by a dear friend, Linda B. Mallon, and two cousins, Veronica Brady and Ann Walsh.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. William J. Porter will be the celebrant. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven cemetery in Dagsboro.
Donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 209 E. Market St., Salisbury, Md. 21801.

Antonia Denise "Truitt" Jones
LAUREL -- Antonia Denise "Truitt" Jones was born May 11, 1962, to Ida M. "Truitt" Brown and the late Orlando Cortez. She departed her life on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.
She received her education in Delmar. She was employed at Stockley Center in Millsboro for 11 years.
She was united in holy matrimony to Wayne Edward Jones on Jan. 27, 1996. To this union there were three sons, Curtis Christopher Taylor, Jackie Rudolph Taylor and Wayne Anthony Jones, and a stepdaughter, Brittney Alycia Jones.
She attended the church she loved and found comfort and consolation, The Supreme Council of the House of Jacob. She was a member of the Salisbury congregation. Her joy came from being in the service of the Lord, being thankful for the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She enjoyed shopping, more for her children than herself, her computer, gardening, planting a garden of flowers for her grandmother and in general lending a helpful hand to others.
Toni leaves a legacy to her husband, Wayne E. Jones of Laurel; three sons, Curtis Christopher Taylor, Jackie Rudolph Taylor and Wayne Anthony Jones, all of Laurel; stepdaughter, Brittney Alycia of Salisbury; one granddaughter, Jamyla Martina Taylor; her mother, Ida Brown of Laurel; her grandmother, Alice L. Gattis of Laurel; four great-aunts, Elizabeth Hyland and Ruth Nocks, Alberta Gaines and Pauline Parker, all of Laurel; three great-uncles, Johnny Truitt, Chester Parker of Laurel and Henry Parker; two aunts, Faith Parker of Frankford and Demetra Parker of Laurel; and four uncles, James Royger Brown of Hurlock, George H. Parker of Pennsylvania, Paul Parker of Laurel and Robert Ruffin of Georgetown.
She also leaves a father-in-law and his wife, Joseph and Violet Jones of Fruitland; three brothers-in-law, Joseph, Curtis and his wife, Argene, and Andre Jones of Salisbury; three sisters-in-law, Brenda Kline and her husband, Johnny, of Salisbury, Zinnie Jones of College Park, Md., and Debbie Ramos of Delmar; special godchildren, Destiny Chester and India Adams of Laurel; a very special friend, Carolyn Bess; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Supreme Council of the House of Jacob on Hampden Avenue in Princess Anne. Burial will be in Israel Memorial cemetery on Loretta Road in Princess Anne. A public viewing will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Matthew's First Baptist Church in Laurel.

Ernest Lee Wagner
VIENNA -- Ernest Lee "Wag" Wagner, age 67, of Vienna passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
Born March 27, 1938, he was the only child of the late John Benjamin and Edna Good Wagner.
Wag, as he was fondly known by family and friends, was a graduate of Mardela High School in the Class of 1956. A few years after high school, he decided to join the U.S. Army and proudly served his country from 1960 to 1963. He loved the outdoors and worked for himself for more than 20 years as a waterman, crabbing, fishing and tonging for oysters. He also worked as a guide for a hunting club for a number of years in his younger days. More recently, he worked at Solo Cup in Federalsburg as a machine operator and in a few other positions. He was a devoted fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Wizards and Maryland Terrapins, always a big supporter of the hometown teams. He was a true dog lover and cared deeply for the dogs he had kept in the past.
He is survived by his wife and caregiver, Kathy L. Wagner; two sons, Ernest Lee Wagner Jr. and his girlfriend, Elizabeth Tolson, of Vienna and Brian Luther Wagner and his wife, Sarah, of TyTy, Ga.; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Wagner of Laurel and Amanda Leigh Wagner of Claremont, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Jonathan Lee Wagner and Brandon Lee Searles. Several aunts and cousins also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime, favorite companion, his dog "Rocko."
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove St. in Delmar, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. The Rev. Sam McWilliams will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Mardela Memorial Cemetery.
Howard T. Richardson Jr.
CUMMING, Ga. -- Mr. H.T. Richardson Jr., age 83, of Cumming died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at Portsbridge Hospice in Dunwoody, Ga., after an extended illness.
A native of Salisbury, Mr. Richardson was the son of the late Howard T. Richardson and Mary (Sommerkamp) Richardson. He was a 1944 graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kingspoint, N.Y. He had been a member of the Barbershoppers and active in the Community Players.
He was predeceased by his only sister, Mary Jane Borusky, in 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Richardson; his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard T. Richardson III; two granddaughters, Mrs. Ryan (Candice) Shea and Mrs. Mason (Lesli) Ambery; two great-grandchildren, Brennan Shea and Madeline Ambery; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Ga. Interment will be held at a later date in Salisbury.
Paul T. "Terry" Benton IV
STEVENSVILLE, Md. -- Paul T. "Terry" Benton IV, of Stevensville, and formerly of Chance, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Salisbury on Sept. 26, 1967, he was the son of Vicki Hoffman Benton of Salisbury and Paul T. Benton III and his wife, Charlotte, of Chance.
He was a waterman and an avid fisherman.
Besides his parents, he is survived by a son, Christopher Dale Benton of Salisbury; sisters, Renee Dorsey of Elkridge, Md., and Zoe Benton of Chance; grandparents, Ellsworth Hoffman of Salisbury and Mary Benton Tyler of Crisfield; his fiancee, Robin Wessel of Stevensville; two nieces; and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Benton Jr. and Florence Hoffman.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Rock Creek cemetery in Chance.
