Philip J. Bulow
WILLIAMSPORT - Philip John Bulow, 58, of 16605 Mosby Drive, died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at his home.
Born Oct. 22, 1941, in Meadville, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul James and Mary Rita Edgar Bulow.
He was a 1959 graduate of Portage Area High School in Portage, Pa.; and a 1963 graduate of Williamson School in Media, Pa.
He retired from Jernigan's Landscaping in Smithsburg. He was previously employed as a manager by Hoffman Well and Pump Co. in Williamsport; and was a partner of Cardinal International in Somerset, Pa.
He was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Williamsport, served as a deacon and was a member of church committees.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Janet Elizabeth Jones Bulow; two daughters, Lisa Jernigan of Smithsburg and Susan Stum of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a sister, Mary Jo Rielly of Sterling, Va.; a brother, Richard Bulow of Somerset; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Bulow.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 10813 Donelson Drive in Willliamsport. The Rev. Mark Sandell will officiate.
Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 125 E. Conococheague St. in Williamsport, which will open at 11 a.m.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Phyllis Suffecool
ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. - Phyllis Suffecool, 62, of Zephyrhills and formerly of Williamsport, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at East Pasco Medical Center.
She was born in Glen Burnie, Md.
She retired from Western Maryland State Hospital as a dietary worker.
She was a member of VFW Auxiliary of Zephyrhills, Moose Auxiliary of Zephyrhills and Potomac Fish and Game Club Auxiliary of Williamsport.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Suffecool; a daughter, Julie Snyder of Hagerstown; two sons, John Borsos of Long Beach, Calif., and Michael Borsos of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; two sisters, Rosy Winters of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Bonnie Flannery of Blandon, Pa.; two brothers, Fred Hafer of Hanover, Pa., and Albert Hafer of Williamsport; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Oakley Funeral Home, Zephyrhills.

Margaret T. Green
BOONSBORO - Margaret Thomas Green, 85, of 8507 Mapleville Road and formerly of 108 Lakin Ave., died Friday, May 5, 2000, at her home.
Born Feb. 24, 1915, in Monroe, Md., she was the daughter of the late Clyde Beauford and Mary Amelia Startzman Thomas.
She was a 1935 graduate of Maryland State Normal School in Towson, Md.
She started teaching at the one-room school in Mount Carmel. After teaching 25 years at various Washington County Schools, she retired from Bester Elementary in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Mount Nebo United Methodist Church in Boonsboro, where she had been a Sunday School teacher.
She was a member of Washington County Retired Teachers' Association, Maryland State Retired Teachers' Association, Boonsboro Homemakers Club, Boonsboro Senior Citizens and the auxiliary at Fahrney-Keedy Home near Boonsboro.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edgar A. Green; a daughter, Luana Green Goodwin of Philadelphia; a sister, Lorraine E. Thomas of Boonsboro; a granddaughter; nieces; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George H. Thomas.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Mount Nebo United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ron Kurtz will officiate. Burial will be in the Boonsboro cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday at 1 p.m. at the church.
There will be no hours of visitation at the funeral home.

Richard L. Scrivnor Jr.
SEVERN, Md. - Richard Lee Scrivnor Jr., 33, of Severn, died Thursday, May 4, 2000, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.
Born April 13, 1967, in Baltimore, he was the son of Richard Lee Scrivnor of Millville, W.Va., and Elizabeth Susan Reynolds Fields of Severn.
He was a self-employed plumber and electrician.
He was a Catholic.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a close friend, Monica Houser of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; his stepmother, Delores Scrivnor of Millville; his stepfather, Bobby Joe Fields of Severn; two children, Matthew Rosenberger of Severn and Brittany Rose Haines of Laurel, Md.; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Reynolds of Severn; a sister, Elizabeth Susan Fields of Odenton, Md.; two brothers, Christopher James Scrivnor of Severn and Robert Joseph Fields of Brooklyn Park, Md.; and a niece.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be private.
There will be no visitation.

Curvin D. Strite
Curvin Dean Strite, 7, of 14137 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, who died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, attended Paradise Mennonite Church.
He is survived by maternal great-grandmother, Rhoda Risser of Hagerstown, and paternal great-grandmother, Rhoda Hege of Hagerstown.
Margaret A. Gelwicks
Margaret Almeda Gelwicks, 77, of Hagerstown, died Saturday, May 6, 2000.
Born Jan. 16, 1923, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Anna Drury Goetz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell I. "Bud" Gelwicks, in 1993.
Previously, she was employed by Fairchild Aircraft and Washington County Hospital.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was a member of American Legion Williamsport Post 202 Auxiliary and a former member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 212 Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Marsha J. Guderjohn of Hagerstown; a son, David R. Gelwicks; two grandchildren, Jason Guderjohn of Hagerstown and Lindsay K. Gossett of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.
