Lillian M. Kindall
BOONSBORO - Lillian Mae Burker Kindall, 77, of 19009 Manor Church Road, died Monday, May 15, 2000, at her home.
Born Sept. 12, 1922, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Noah S. and Ethel May Jenkins Burker.
She was retired. She had worked as a presser for Indivisional Laundry in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Monroe Church of Christ in Boonsboro.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph S. Kindall; one daughter, Gloria Mae Staley of Hagerstown; one sister, Alice Hawbaker of Clear Spring; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Delia Anna Legett; and two brothers, William and George Burker.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Brothers Sherrill Mongan and Dennis Mongan will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Homer E. Selby
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Homer Eli Selby, 75, of 715 E. B St., died Monday, May 15, 2000, at Frederick Health Care Center in Frederick, Md.
Born Oct. 31, 1924, in Brunswick, he was the son of George Franklin and Gladys Sample Selby.
His wife, Anna Belle Hite Selby, died in December 1999.
He was a 1943 graduate of Brunswick High School.
He retired in 1980 after 36 years with the Chessie System at Brunswick where he worked as a brakeman.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served in World War II.
He was a member of New York Hill United Methodist Church in Brunswick.
He was a member of United Trainmen Union.
He is survived by nephews, Mark Stephenson and Curt Selby, both of Brunswick; and other nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. The Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Park Heights cemetery in Brunswick.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home which will be open from 9 a.m.

Alice A. Dodd
FREDERICK, Md. - Alice A. Dodd, 84, of 600 Taney Ave., died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at her home.
Born Aug. 6, 1915, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Mahala Rodgers Abrecht.
Her husband, Charles M. Dodd Jr., died in November 1996.
She retired in 1977 from the Frederick County School Board, after teaching in area elementary schools for 34 years.
She was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.
She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America; Frederick County Retired Teachers Association, and the auxiliary of B.P.O.E. 684.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan D. Urban of Frederick and Sally D. Burdette of Ijamsville, Md.; three grandchildren, Amanda B. Johnson, Melynda K. Burdette and Clair E. Urban.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George F. Abrecht.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, where a funeral mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick.

Robert L. Brake
Robert Lee Brake, 69, of 10727 Crystal Falls Road, died Monday, May 15, at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.
Born Dec. 15, 1930, in Harrisonville, W.Va., he was the son of Mildred Leora Weaver Duvall of Canton, Ohio, and the late Lorenza Dow Brake.
He received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Maryland.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring in 1969 with the rank of master sergeant. He taught industrial arts in Frederick County (Md.) schools, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Smithsburg.
He was a member of Conway Lodge 65 A.F. & A. Masons in Conway, S.C.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Bentz Brake, whom he married
Jan. 13, 1952; three daughters, Karen M. Brake of Frederick, Diana L. Hill of Hagerstown and Wanda Mathias of Thurmont, Md.; and one grandson.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St., Thurmont. The Rev. Mark Mooney will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open from 1 p.m. Acacia Lodge 165 A.F. & A. Masons of Thurmont will present a memorial service at 8 p.m.

Louis A. Feliciano
FREDERICK, Md. - Louis A. Feliciano, 71, of 419 White Oak Place, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 3, 1928, in Guananilla, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Alfonso and Teresa Rodriguez Feliciano.
He was employed by the United States government. He retired in 1993 as a system analyst with the Federal Aviation Administration. He had received outstanding achievement awards for his contributions to the government and the F.A.A. He did consulting work with Automated Information Management Inc.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during the Korean War.
He was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Frederick.
He was a member and former treasurer of the Hispanic Club of Frederick.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa A. Rivera Feliciano; two daughters, Gloria Maria Santillo of Germantown, Md., and Teresa Maria Feliciano of Frederick; a son, Luis Roberto Feliciano of Hagerstown; a brother, Teofilo Feliciano of Puerto Rico; and a granddaughter.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 E. Second St., Frederick. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Frederick.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, where a rosary will be recited.
