Donald E. Gorman
Donald E. Gorman, 56, of 60 East Ave., Hagerstown, died Monday, May 29, 2000, at Maryland University Medical System in Baltimore.
Born July 10, 1943, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of Harry E. and Margaret C. Mellott Gorman of Welsh Run, Pa.
He was a former general manager of Lake Linganore Association in Linganore, Md. He was last employed as a salesman by Carpets Unlimited in Hagerstown and Frederick, Md.
He attended Otterbein United Methodist Church in Hagerstown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Bonnie Belle Benedict Gorman, whom he married
Feb. 14, 1995; two daughters, Lisa Marie Stoner and Lori Ann Jones, both of Fayetteville, Pa.; a son, Jeffrey A. Gorman of Fayetteville; three sisters, E. Arlene Heinbaugh of Carlisle, Pa., Carol A. Deshong of Fort Loudon, Pa. and Sandra L. Musselman of Greencastle, Pa.; three brothers, Robert A. Gorman of Marion, Pa., H. Edward Gorman of Waynesboro and Randall L. Gorman of Greencastle.; six grandchildren; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home, 47 N. Park Ave. in Mercersburg, Pa. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Mercersburg.
Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Harold E. Kelly
ARBUTUS, Md. - Harold E. Kelly, 77, of Circle Drive, died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at his home.
Born March 23, 1923, in Buffalo Mills, Pa., he was the son of the late James W. and Elsie McCoy Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maedene Swain Kelly; and his second wife, Miriam Ramsey Kelly.
He worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
He was a member of Owings Mills Church of God in Owings Mills, Md.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Caroll Sealocio Kelly; two children, Judy M. Kelly of Loysburg, Pa., and Rodney Kelly of Hustontown, Pa.; two stepchildren, Sandra Gladden of Eldersburg, Md., and Ronald Rayne of Pasadena, Md.; one sister, Mabel Matlick of Cumberland, Md.; four stepgrandsons; and stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at M.R. Brown Funeral Home in Hustontown. The Rev. George Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Hustontown Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday.
Rodney C. Martin
Rodney Charles Martin, 50, of South Locust Street, Hagerstown, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 31, 1949, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Daniel S. Martin of Thurmont, Md., and the late Anna B. Scadden Martin.
He was employed as a logger.
He was a 1967 graduate of Boonsboro High School.
In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Dusty Martin of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Jacob Daniel Martin of Florida; three sisters, Cheryl Murphy of Sarasota, Fla., Sharon Garber of Martinsburg and Vicki Barden of Keedysville; one brother, Brett Martin of Thurmont; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lauren Martin.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg. Pastor Ron Cook will officiate. There will be no viewing.

Beulah F. Cazer
BOONSBORO - Beulah F. Cazer, 89, of Boonsboro, and formerly of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 16, 1911, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James D. and Sylvia Everhart Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Cazer.
She attended House of the Lord.
She is survived by two brothers, Edgar Kitchen of Martinsburg and Roy Kitchen of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth V. Cazer; two sisters, Floye Kitchen and Lillie Gross; and two brothers, Noble Kitchen and Neal Kitchen.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Austin J. Caplinger will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale cemetery in Martinsburg.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Isaac H. Simpson
MANCHESTER, N.H. - Isaac Hamilton Simpson, 80, of Manchester, and formerly of Portsmouth, N.H., and Martinsburg, W.Va., died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Manchester.
Born March 2, 1920, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Harry Hamilton and Anna Rebecca Byers Simpson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McMaster Simpson.
He was a 1938 graduate of Milton S. Hershey High School in Hershey, Pa.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring with the rank of chief petty officer.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus 140; and VFW.
He is survived by a daughter, Rosemary S. Buia of Hampton, N.H.; three sons, David H. Simpson of Boston, Donald M. Simpson of Manchester and Thomas H. Simpson of Dover, N.H.; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, May 31, in Portsmouth.
Private burial will be in Elmwood cemetery in Shepherdstown, W.Va.

John Haines Jr.
CHICO, Calif. - John Robert Haines Jr., 52, of Chico, died Monday, May 29, 2000, at Chico Hospital.
Born Jan. 30, 1948, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Mary Haines of Big Spring, and the late John Haines.
He played baseball for a Baltimore Orioles minor league team, and later played for Oral Roberts University, where he received a baseball scholarship.
He attended IBM Training Institute in Washington, D.C. He earned a bachelor of arts degree and two master of arts degrees at Cal State University, Northridge.
He taught school in Redding, Calif. Later, he owned and operated Trapper and Klondike Trading Co. in Gettysburg, Pa. He was a Realtor.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He served on the professional standards committee for the Chico Association of Realtors.
He coached Little League baseball.
He was a member of VFW Post 1555.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen Keeter Haines, whom he married
Nov. 14, 1969; and two brothers, Jack Haines and Joseph Haines, both of Hagerstown.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Newton-Bracewell Chico Funeral Home in Chico.
Private burial will be in Tehama Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
