Ivanline M. Cline
Ivanline M. Cline, 75, of 8653 Downsville Pike, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Feb. 18, 1925, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George Clayton and Josephine Urilla Sprecher Monninger.
She was a member of Evangel Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School class.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, George J. Cline; a daughter, Melinda M. Cowgill of Greencastle, Pa.; a son, Michael E. Cline, at home; a sister, Mary E. Wetzel of Hagerstown; a brother, Robert L. Monninger of Hagerstown; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle V. Clopper, and four brothers, Frank E. Monninger, William H. Monninger, Howard L. Monninger and Lewis E. Monninger.
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Evangel Baptist Church, 17922 Broadfording Road, Hagerstown. The Rev. Ernest W. Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St. in Hagerstown and Monday at the church one hour prior to services.
John L. Renner Jr.
John Luft Renner Jr., 69, of Candlewood Lane, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at his home.
Born Jan. 10, 1931, in Hagerstown, he was the son of John Luft Sr. and Mary Morgret Renner of Hagerstown.
He was a coal and concrete broker for many years.
He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Funkstown American Legion Post 211, Hagerstown B.P.O. Elks Lodge 348 and Cumberland Valley Firemen's Association.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverly "Jeanne" Kershner Renner; two daughters, Lindsey S. Renner of Cresaptown, Md., and Cathy A. Hooker of LaVale, Md.; a son, Jeffrey L. Renner of Hancock; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; a niece; and a nephew.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Lauren Heather Lay will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Julia E. Mathna
Julia E. Mathna, 85, of 55 E. Washington St., died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 10, 1914, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Claude Garfield and Altha Rose Albin Barnes.
Her husband, Harold W. Mathna, died in 1967.
She retired in 1984 from Hay's Inc.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, the Sterling Bell Sunday School class and United Methodist Women.
She was a volunteer for R.S.V.P. at Alexander House and a member of AARP.
She is survived by a grandson, John David Mathna of Annandale, Va.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Barnes Mathna; a sister, Lorraine Barnes; and a great-grandson.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday one hour prior to services.
Steven T. Brandenburg
FOXVILLE, Md. - Steven T. Brandenburg, 56, of Old Catoctin Road, died Friday, June 2, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 5, 1944, in Pleasant Valley near Smithsburg, he was the son of Ray S. Jr. and Margaret M. Swope Brandenburg of Foxville.
He retired in 1998 after 36 1/2 years employment with Mack Trucks.
He was a member of U.A.W. Local 171, National Rifle Association, Elk Foundation and Moose Lodge 120.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. Burker Brandenburg, and a son, W. Jason Roth of Hagerstown.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave., Smithsburg. The Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery near Smithsburg.

Ronnie B. Minnick
KNOXVILLE - Ronnie Baker Minnick, 65, of 19700 Frog Eye Road, died Saturday, June 3, 2000, at his home.
Born Nov. 28, 1934, in Middletown, Md., he was the son of the late Charles Stanley and Irene Elizabeth Baker Minnick.
He was retired as a plumber with North American Housing, Point of Rocks, Md.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by six sisters, Dorothy Himes, of Weverton, Md., Evelyn House of Boonsboro, Bonnie Jackson of Myersville, Md., Patsy Roelkey of Knoxville, Kitty Lydard of Jefferson, Md., and Connie Harman of Braddock Heights, Md., and his ex-wife, Linda Minnick of Boonsboro.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no visitation.
