Margaret L. Hildebrand
Margaret Louise Hildebrand, 76, of Larkspur Lane, Hagerstown, died Saturday, June 3, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 29, 1924, in Clear Spring, she was the daughter of the late Bruce E. and Mary Jane Harnish Rubeck.
She was employed at W.D. Bryon and Son.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was a member of Ladies International Garment Workers of America.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Layman R. Hildebrand; a daughter, Deborah Hildebrand of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Fred Rubeck of Hagerstown; three granddaughters; a grandson; seven great-grandchildren; three nieces and three nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Roy Petre will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ruth J. Elliott
Ruth Joann Litton Elliott, 67, of 11 W. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, who died Saturday, June 3, 2000, at Washington County Hospital, was the daughter of the late David W. Sr. and Mildred Ruth Rowe Litton.
E. Lynn Bartle
BAREFOOT BAY, Fla. - E. Lynn Bartle, of Barefoot Bay, died Saturday, April 29, 2000.
He was born in Hagerstown.
He was the former owner of Hagerstown Nursery; and was associated with ERA Realty Co. in Hagerstown, until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Shona P. Bartle of Barefoot Bay.
Memorial services will be Monday, June 12, 2000, at 11:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsport. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Monday at 11 a.m. at the church.

Alice C. Ringer
Alice Catherine Ringer, 86, of 12 S. Walnut St., died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at Coffman Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 13, 1913, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude Grimm Biser.
She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Keenagers of Grace Brethren Church, Senior Citizens of Grace United Methodist Church and Senior Citizens of Haven Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her caregiver and friend, Madaline I. Springer of Hagerstown; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Ringer and Helen Ringer; and two brothers, Dunwold Ringer and Joseph Ringer.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Richard W. Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Audrey R. Albright
Audrey Ruth Albright, 77, of Colton Villa Nursing Home, and formerly of 11 W. Baltimore St., Potomac Towers, who died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Washington County Hospital, was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.
Enid V. Toms
Enid Vernon Toms, 80, of 10837 Oak Valley Drive, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at her home.
Born Aug. 4, 1919, in Arlington, Va., she was the daughter of the late George F. Sr. and Bessie Virginia Simpson Dennis.
She was a 1936 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was employed in the Hagerstown office of Victor Cushwa and Sons for 18 years.
She was a member of Haven Lutheran Church and United Lutheran Church Women.
She bowled with the Hits and Misses League and was a volunteer at Lincolnshire Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond R. Toms; two daughters, Barbara L. Iseminger of Hagerstown and Beverly V. Keefer of Fairmont, W.Va., and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma R. Dennis; three brothers, Raymond L. Dennis, G. Franklin Dennis Jr. and Oliver C. Dennis; and a grandson.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Haven Lutheran Church, 1035 Haven Road, Hagerstown. The Rev. Torben G. Aarsand will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Ethel M. Swomley
Ethel Munshour Swomley, 75, of 1047 Valley Brook Drive, Hagerstown, died Monday, June 5, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 20, 1924, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Lester C. and Bertha Munshour Hockensmith.
Her husband, E. Lease Swomley Jr., died in 1976.
She was a 1942 graduate of Waynesboro High School, and a 1945 graduate of Washington County School of Nursing.
She was employed as a nurse with Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown for 22 years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and Chapter II.
She was a member of Washington County Hospital Nurses Alumni Association, and Leitersburg Seniors Group.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia K. Freedy of Nazareth, Pa.; one son, Mark Edward Swomley of Bel Air, Md.; one sister, Miriam Finz of Hagerstown; three granddaughters; one grandson; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward L. Hockensmith.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert C. Lehman will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
