Harold C. Ruthrauff Jr.
Harold Charles Ruthrauff Jr., 80, of 10402 Sharpsburg Pike, Hagerstown, died Friday, June 9, 2000, at his home.
Born Dec. 15, 1919, in Westminster, Md., he was the son of the late Harold C. and Dorothy Agnes Loss Ruthrauff Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Myers Ruthrauff, on Oct. 13, 1983. They were married
April 24, 1943.
He attended Hagerstown High School.
He was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Hagerstown. He also attended Meadowview Mennonite Church.
He was a retired member of UAW Local 842, and a former local Boy Scout scoutmaster.
He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Elizabeth Sollenberger of Sharpsburg, Jewel Ann Ruthrauff of Williamsport and Amy Sue Ruthrauff of Hagerstown; three sons, Harold C. Ruthrauff III of Chambersburg, Pa., Robert Lee Ruthrauff of Ocean City, Md., and Terry Myers Ruthrauff of Keene, N.H.; two sisters, Patricia A. Wiebel of Hagerstown and Geraldine E. Harter of Morgantown, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy L. Herbert and Marion E. Bishop.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Roy H. Petre will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

William B. O'Donnell
William Bernard O'Donnell, 72, of 644 W. Washington St., died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 16, 1928, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Ambrose B. and Pauline McCarty O'Donnell.
He attended W.C.A.R.C. Day Care Center.
He is survived by one nephew, Kenneth Engelke of Baltimore.
A service will be held today at 7 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St. The Rev. Robert C. Lehman will officiate. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, 7146 Golden Ring Road in Baltimore.
Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Tara G. Daly
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Tara Gabrielle Daly, infant daughter of Raymond L. Jr. and Angela M. Coates Daly of Brunswick, died at birth Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Md.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Marie Daly of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; a brother, Derek Armand Daly of Brunswick; maternal grandparents, Earl C. and Kay C. Coates of Brunswick; paternal grandparents, Raymond L. Daly Sr. of Florida and Mary Edgar Daly of Harpers Ferry.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Maple Ave. in Brunswick. The Rev. Hedy L. Drummond will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick.
Alan R. Hart
BIG POOL - Alan Reed Hart, 46, of 13447 Pecktonville Road, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at his home.
Born Sept. 12, 1953, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Edna E. Reed Hart of Big Pool and the late Leon Hart.
He was a 1971 graduate of Clear Spring High School.
He was employed by L. W. Wolfe for 9 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Victoria Ahalt; three brothers, Gary L. Hart, Dale R. Hart and Clair A. Hart; a niece whom he raised, Samantha; three aunts; cousins; nieces and a nephew.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. The Rev. Sterling Keeney will officiate. Burial will be in Parkhead Cemetery, Big Pool.

Betty L. Householder
WILLIAMSPORT - Betty Lucille Householder, 67, of 16395 Spielman Road, died Monday, June 12, 2000, at her home.
Born May 21, 1933, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Norman Oliver and Mary Lucille Middlekauff Barnes.
She was a 1951 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Grace Brethren Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tubby Householder; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Revs. Ray Davis and Dan Jordan will officiate.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open after 9 a.m.

Stella H. Watson
Stella Hazel Watson, 86, of 13502 Paradise Drive, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 3, 1914, in Hammon, Okla., she was the daughter of the late William and Minnie Jones Trent.
She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur A. Watson; two daughters, Arthea J. Powell of Hagerstown and Jeanette G. Ray of Leitersburg; one son, Ronald E. Watson of Winfield, Kan.; one sister, Dunreath Monyhun of Monrovia, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Havens; and four brothers, Clifford Trent, Lee Trent, Eugene Trent and Floyd Trent.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Wesley Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Mary E. Cushen
Mary E. Cushen, 99, of 126 S. Mulberry St., Hagerstown, died Friday, June 9, 2000, at her home.
Born Sept. 28, 1900, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Calvin and Etta Belle Snyder Rowe.
Her husband, Robert T. Cushen, died in 1971.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Brethren Church, Berean Sunday School Class and Women's Missionary Society.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Beth Ann Shedd of Attleboro, Mass.; one grandson, Alan D. Cushen of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Etta Belle Lightner; one son, Robert F. Cushen; and one grandson.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Doc Shank will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday.
