Delilah R. Tucker
Delilah Ruth "Susie" Tucker, 72, of 1423 W. Church St., Hagerstown, died Monday, June 12, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 8, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late L. Foster and Lutie Belle Eckstine Blickenstaff.
She was a 1946 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She retired from Routzhan's Department Store after 25 years.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Willing Workers Sunday School class.
She was a member of Ladies of the Elks.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rodney Lee Tucker; two sons, Barry L. Tucker of Hagerstown and Terry Ray Tucker of Clear Spring; a brother, Lee F. Blickenstaff of Ocala. Fla.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Blickenstaff.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert S. Barton will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert E. Lohman
Robert Eugene "Gene" Lohman, 84, of 10431 Crystal Falls Drive, Hagerstown, died Thursday, March 30, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 11, 1915, in Shady Grove, Pa., he was the son of the late Jacob Pentz and Addie Bell Funk Lohman.
He attended Shady Grove school.
He first worked part-time at Dick Grove Grocery Store, presently Kline's Grocery, and helped around the home of Nellie Omwake, both in Shady Grove. He then became a newspaper carrier for The Record Herald in Waynesboro, Pa., delivering in the Waynesboro area for 61 years.
He attended Emmanuel Chapel in Smithsburg, where he was a member of Helping Hands Sunday School Class.
He was a member of Shady Grove Ruritan Club.
He is survived by a sister, Sara Beaver of Shady Grove; and nieces and nephews, including Addie J. O'Connor with whom he lived.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Klee, Beulah Lohman, Lorraine Barnhart and Lillian L. Gorman; and three brothers, George Lohman, Oscar Lohman and Martin Lohman.
Graveside services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Price's Church cemetery in Waynesboro. Pastor Jonathan D. Laye will officiate.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. in Waynesboro.

Betty J. Shupp Arvin
WILLIAMSPORT - Betty Jane Shupp Arvin, 70, of 11 S. Artizan St., died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at her home.
Born Jan. 30, 1930, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Happy and Annie Florence Miles Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard W. Shupp Sr., in 1989.
She attended Williamsport and Pinesburg schools.
She retired in 1996 after 18 years of service at Days Inn in Williamsport. Earlier, she had been employed by Federal Silk Mill in Williamsport.
She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Williamsport.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by her second husband, E. Wayne Arvin; five sons, Richard W. Shupp Jr. of Hagerstown, Gary L. Shupp and Michael L. Shupp, both of Williamsport, Gregory A. Shupp of Greencastle, Pa., and stepson Lonnie Arvin of Clear Spring; two sisters, Katherine E. Miller and Anna Mae Kimble, both of Williamsport; two brothers, Harry R. Bryan Jr. and John F. Bryan, both of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a step-grandson.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St. in Williamsport. The Rev. James E. Swecker will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 9 a.m.

Dorothy J. Woodiel
Dorothy J. Woodiel, 68, of 127 E. Franklin St., Hagerstown, died Thursday, March 30, 2000, at Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 10, 1931, in Wood River, Ill., she was the daughter of the late James J. and Cassie L. Stull Woodiel.
She was a retired employee of Union Local 171 U.A.W., where she was a secretary and bookkeeper.
She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary F.O.E. Aerie 694; Home Chapter of the Women of the Moose and Sister Owls Nest 1780.
She is survived by a cousin, Ronald E. Stull of Dorsey, Ill., and several nieces.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. J. Norman Mayer will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be held today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Marguerite E. Axline
KNOXVILLE - Marguerite Elizabeth Axline, 80, of 624 Knoxville Road, died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Vindobona Nursing Home, Braddock Heights, Md.
Born Aug. 5, 1919, in Frederick County, Md., she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Carey and Eva Viola Phillips.
Her husband, Samuel David Axline, died in 1990.
She was a housewife.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Axline Boaze of Rosemont, Md., and Joan Axline Brown of Lovettsville, Va.; a son, John L. Axline of Knoxville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis Carey and Marlowe Carey and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brownsville Church of the Brethren, Brownsville, Md. The Rev. Carol Strickler will officiate. Burial will be in Brownsville Heights Cemetery, Brownsville.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at J.T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick, Md., which will be open Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
