Donald A. Wilson
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Donald Amos Wilson, 78, of 9th Avenue, died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
Born Aug. 26, 1921, in Mountsville, Va., he was the son of the late Richard Edmund and Daisy Hoffman Wilson.
He was a retired electrical inspector for Loudoun County Government.
He was a member of New York Hill United Methodist Church in Brunswick.
He was a member of Brunswick Lodge 191 AF & AM; 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason with the Chesapeake Consistory, Valley of Baltimore, Orient of Maryland; Ali Ghan Temple Nobles of the Mystic Shrine of Cumberland, Md.; and Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1582 of Brunswick.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Evelyn Garrott Wilson; a son, David A. Wilson of Brunswick; a sister, Hazel Wilson Davis of Brunswick; a granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Bessie Wilson Melvin, Lucy Wilson Cornwell and Ione Wilson Gordon; and four brothers, Coytt E. Wilson, Stanley E. Wilson, Richard H. Wilson and Carroll W. Wilson.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at New York Hill United Methodist Church in Brunswick. The Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Park Heights cemetery in Brunswick.
The family will receive friends today and Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road in Brunswick. Brunswick Lodge 191 AF & AM will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. The funeral home will open Saturday at 9 a.m.

Elsie J. Wise
FREDERICK, Md. - Elsie Jane Wise, 90, formerly of 7109 Edgemont Road, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro.
Born June 7, 1909, in Middletown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Theodore Calvin and Effie Castle Shafer.
She was a member of Christ Reformed United Church of Christ in Middletown.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Haupt Wise, of Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home; six children, Roy Elmer Kinna and Naomi Mae Nikirk, both of Middletown, Md., Evelyn Virginia Nicodemus of Boonsboro, Marie Loretta Jennings of Frederick, Md., Wayne Clarence Wise of Mount Airy, Md., and Patricia Ann Lipford of Cumming, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Shafer Kinna; and one grandson.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Christ Reformed Church in Middletown. The Rev. Mark A. Wakefield will officiate. Burial will be in the Reformed cemetery in Middletown.
Friends may call at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St. in Middletown, today from 1 to 9 p.m., and at the church at noon on Saturday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Betty J. Wolfe
Betty Jane Wolfe, 76, of 19309 Longmeadow Road, Hagerstown, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 13, 1924, in Indian Springs, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. Frush Sr. and Anna Viola Hull Frush.
She was employed by L'Aiglon Manufacturing and later by E.J. Fennel Co. for 18 years.
She was a member of Broadfording Church of God and attended Maugansville Bible Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Earl Wolfe Sr.; a daughter, Sharon L. Miller of Rouzerville, Pa.; a son, William E. Wolfe Jr. of Falling Waters, W.Va.; two sisters, Mary Corderman of Hagerstown, and Harriet Benchoff of Fairfield, Pa.; a brother, Calvin T. Frush of Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Donald Frush, Clarence A. Frush Jr., John R. Frush, Richard L. Frush and Frederick Frush, and one grandson.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. The Rev. John Hoffman will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Memorial Gardens in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Dorothy E. Pearson
BOONSBORO - Dorothy Ethel Pearson, 88, of 8215 Mapleville Road, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at her home.
Born Dec. 14, 1911, in Huntington, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Mason and Lissa Ethel Womeldorff Shipe.
She retired in 1977 from the Social Security Administration in Baltimore.
She was a former member of Eutaw Place Baptist Church and later First Baptist Church in Liberty Heights.
She is survived by a daughter, M. Carol Pearson of Boonsboro, with whom she lived, and a sister, Ida M. Johnson of Boonsboro.
She was preceded in death by a son, Orville R. Conklin III.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Lorraine Park cemetery in Woodlawn, Md. The Rev. John Alfriend will officiate.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

Charlotte G. Stull
Charlotte Gilson Stull, 94, of 1304 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, and formerly of Preston Road, Hagerstown, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Coffman Nursing Home.
Born July 9, 1905, in Frederick, Md., she was the daughter of the late Marion Curtis and Carrie May Gilson Haller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Lee Stull, in 1992.
She was employed by Moses Grossman's Bon Ton in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Haven Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Eva May Boger of Hagerstown; a son, Robert Gilson Stull of Berlin, Md.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Hudson, Regina Les Callet and Louise Williams.
Graveside services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., in Hagerstown. The Rev. Torben Aasand will officiate.
There will be no visitation.

Mildred E. Cobb
WESTMINSTER, Vt. - Mildred E. Cobb, 91, of Peggery Road, died Thursday, April 13, 2000, at Springfield Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Vt.
Born Sept. 15, 1908, in Westminster, she was the daughter of Lynn W. and Ella L. Pierce Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adelbert Cobb, in 1991. They were married
Jan. 25, 1931.
She was a 1928 graduate of Walpole High School in Walpole, N.H.
She was a member of Women's Fellowship and Westminster Congregational Church.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Cobb of Hagerstown and Hollis Cobb of Westminster; two daughters, Bernice Cook and Bertha Lawrence, both of Westminster; a brother, Ralph Lawrence of Westminster; two sisters, Ruth Benedict of Hillville, Va. and Lynnette Beauchamp of Rutland, Vt.; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday at noon at Houghtonville cemetery in Houghtonville, Vt. A memorial service will follow the burial Monday at 2 p.m. and a reception will be at Westminster Congregational Church in Westminster.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
