Orville C. Hays Sr.
WILLIAMSPORT - Orville Charles Hays Sr., 83, of 11115 Kemps Mill Road, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Jan. 23, 1917, in Greencastle, Pa., he was the son of the late George Paul Sr. and Gail Marie Yeats Hays Sr.
His wife, Alta "Peggy" Solomon Hays, died in 1998.
He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft Corp., Hagerstown, for 40 years, retiring in 1979.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Downsville Christian Church.
He was a member of Downsville Senior Citizens Association; and Manor Church Senior Citizens Association.
He is survived by a son, Ronald L. Hays of Hagerstown; a sister, Anna Burger of Hagerstown, two brothers, George P. Hays Jr. of Williamsport and Floyd Shrader of Hagerstown; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a son, Orville C. Hays Jr.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St. in Williamsport. The Revs. E. Reese Davis and Nelson Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 9 a.m.

Reginald O. A. Keyes Jr.
Reginald O. A. "Junnie" Keyes Jr., 70, formerly of Hagerstown, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Jan. 22, 1930, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Reginald O. A. Sr. and Cecelia Keyes.
He graduated from North Street School.
He worked for the Washington County Department of Health.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Army. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars.
He was a member of Bethel AME Church in Hagerstown.
He was a member of the American Legion in Greencastle, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Keyes; three daughters, Patti Hawkins, Aretha Williams and Madelyn Colbert, all of Chambersburg; three sons, Reginald Keyes III of Frederick, Md., Rodney Keyes and Johnny Fillkill, both of Chambersburg; two sisters, Lorraine Miller of Harrisburg, Pa. and Cora Thompson of Chambersburg; a brother, William F. Keyes Sr. of Hagerstown; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Delores.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Leroy Jackson will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Watson Funeral Home, 24 W. Bethel St., Hagerstown.
Ruth H. Moulden
CHEWSVILLE - Ruth H. Moulden, of Chewsville, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at Avalon Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown.
Born in Reading, Pa., she was the daughter of William J. and Bertha A. Heckman Heinzman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Moulden, in 1978.
She was employed by McCrory Store Corp. in Reading; and Hays Inc. in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Chewsville, and Friendly Circle Sunday School Class.
She was a member of Ladies Elks 378; Ladies Auxiliary of Morris Frock Post 42, both of Hagerstown; Senior Citizens Club of Chewsville; and travel clubs.
Private graveside services will be held at Chewsville Cemetery. The Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Helen Stoner
Helen Stoner, 98, of 13303 Hunter Hill Drive, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Avalon Manor Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 25, 1901, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel W. and Ida L. Secrist Doub.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl L. Stoner, in 1964.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 3; a former member of Fountain Head Country Club; and a former member of Women's Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy E. Eads of Hagerstown; a son, Daniel D. Stoner of Seaford, Del.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Stoner.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward H. Heim will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Louise G. Isner
WILLIAMSPORT - Louise Gladys Isner, 87, of Williamsport Retirement Village, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born May 31, 1912, in Richwood, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Dorsey M. and Nora Fredman Isner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Darwin Isner, in 1988.
She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
She was a member of West Virginia Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Isner of Centerville, Va.; a son, David W. Isner of Charleston, W.Va.; three sisters, Nina Isner of Roanoke, Va., Hazel Coberly of Naples, Fla. and Dorothy Vannoi of Laurel, Del.; a brother, Carl Isner of Tampa, Fla.; and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Isner and Lester Isner.
Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Richard W. Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in Elkins Memorial Gardens in Elkins, W.Va.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Leo "Pete" Startzman Jr., 77, of 13413 Highlane St., Hagerstown, who died Sunday, March 26, 2000, attended Mountain View Baptist Church.
Carol A. Rohrer
SMITHSBURG - Carol Ann "Polly" Rohrer, 55, of Poplar Grove Road, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 15, 1944, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William L. Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Stottlemyer Kendall.
Her husband, Ernest E. Rohrer, died in 1998.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Smithsburg.
She is survived by one son, Robert E. Rohrer, at home; two sisters, Ida Mae Pepple of Cavetown, and Betty L. South of Waynesboro; two brothers, William L. Kendall Jr. and Gerald E. Kendall, both of Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by one son, Franklin D. Rohrer.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg. Pastor Mark Walters will officiate. Burial will be in Beaver Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
