Charlotte M. Willard
BOONSBORO - Charlotte M. Willard, of 7835 Mount Laurel Road, died Friday, March 24, 2000, at her home.
Born in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Edith Mae Dopson Miller.
She graduated from Smithsburg School.
She was employed by Cavetown Canning Factory, Rosens Department Store in Hagerstown and Queen's Way.
She was a member of Mount Lena United Brethren Church and Willing Workers Class.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond A. Willard; four daughters, Debbie Shelton of Gerrardstown, W.Va., Linda Reed of Boonsboro, Charlotte Hutzel of Hagerstown and Teresa Robinson of Boonsboro; two sons, David Warrenfeltz of Smithsburg and Daryl Willard of Boonsboro; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Souders; a son, Steven Ray Willard; and a brother, Clifford L. Miller.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg. Pastor Randy Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery in San Mar, Md.
There will be no viewing; however, the family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Robert W. Grab
ST. JAMES - Robert William Grab, 43, of St. James School, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Oct. 26, 1956, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Charles Louis Sr. and Elizabeth Pearl Beckley Grab.
He was a 1974 graduate of Williamsport High School; and a 1978 graduate of Frostburg State College.
He was employed by St. James School as a music teacher, assistant librarian and chapel sexton.
He was a member of Salem Reformed Church, and Episcopal Chapel at St. James School.
He played the trumpet with the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, St. James Brass Quintet, Hagerstown Municipal Band, and Mercersburg Community Chorus, of which he was president, among many community organizations. He was a former choir director at Salem Reformed Church.
He was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
He is survived by a brother, Charles W. Grab Jr.; aunts; uncles; two nieces and a nephew.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. James School. The Rev. D. Stuart Dunnan will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown, and Saturday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the school.

Lovealene L. Thompson
Lovealene Lorraine "Sis" Thompson, 67, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at her home.
Born Jan. 15, 1933, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nannie Montgomery Keller.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William B. Thompson; two daughters, Sharon Arvin and Robin Suder, both of Clear Spring; four sons, William B. Thompson Jr. and Robert Thompson, both of Hagerstown, Herbert Thompson of Mercersburg, Pa., and David Thompson of Smithsburg; three sisters, Rosalie Spitzer of Fairplay, Joanne Mundey and Becky Butts, both of Hagerstown; five brothers, Harry Keller, and Jake Keller, both of Smithsburg, Bill Keller and Donnie Keller, both of Hagerstown, and Bob Keller of Greencastle, Pa.; one stepbrother, Ronald Metz of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Keller.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Maj. Robert Henderson and Larry Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Virginia M. Cash
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - Virginia M. Cash, 71, of 10170 Hobsons Choice Lane, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Nov. 11, 1928, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Lohman Ross Weaver.
She was a 1946 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She worked in computers at Comfry Manufacturing Co. in Baltimore for 28 years.
She was a Protestant.
She is survived by her husband, Harold L. Cash, whom she married
Nov. 30, 1949; one daughter, Jeri Lee Boggs of Ellicott City; two sons, Jeffrey L. Cash and Jay Cash, both of Baltimore; one brother, Robert Weaver of Hagerstown; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. in Greencastle, Pa. Burial will be in Shanks Church of the Brethren cemetery near Greencastle. The Rev. Rene Olivier will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Mariette Y. Tardif
Mariette Y. Tardif, 73, of 11906 Greenhill Drive, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 30, 1926, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Albert M. and Raymonde Aumais Boudreau.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gillies L. Tardif; a daughter, Maureen T. Miller of Hagerstown; a son, Jeffrey G. Tardif of Dubuque, Iowa; three sisters, Claudette Parker, Jocelyn Shrives and Muriel Gascon, all of Montreal; a brother, John Boudreau of Montreal; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1525 Oak Hill Ave. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward W. Manalis will be celebrant. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert L. Mason
LUTHERVILLE, Md. - Robert L. Mason, 69, of Lutherville, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.
Born Dec. 30, 1930, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Howard R. and Helen M. Carey Mason Sr.
He worked for Pitney Bowes Incorporated as a field service representative.
A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of Loch Raven United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Ann" Shackelford Mason; four daughters, Robin J. Schaefer, Laura A. Wagner, April E. Mason and Amy B. Siegrist; a son, R. Jeffrey Mason; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Helen J. Anderson; and brother, Howard R. Mason Jr.
Services will be Saturday at noon at Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road in Towson, Md. The Rev. Henry Thompson III will officiate. Burial will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium, Md.
The family will receive friends Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
