Nicholas G. Snook
WILLIAMSPORT - Nicholas Gregory Snook, of 131 E. Potomac St., Williamsport, infant son of Todd Martin and Tina Jo Shives Snook, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Aaron Martin Snook, at home; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jan Shives of Hagerstown; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Martin L. Snook of Halfway.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.
Arrangements are by Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport.
Rosalie I. Miller
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Rosalie Irene Miller, 84, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home.
Born April 22, 1915, in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Boyd and Virgie Batt Fearnow.
She attended Mount Vernon School in Morgan County, W.Va.
She had worked as a seamstress at Jacob Brothers Sewing Factory in Hancock; and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Nevil Elsworth Miller; two sons, Lynn C. Miller of Berkeley Springs and Wayne E. Miller of Buchanan, W.Va.; a sister, Marie Clark of Berkeley Springs; two brothers, Fred Fearnow and Ray Fearnow, both of Berkeley Springs; three grandchildren; a nephew; a great-niece and a great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eltha Fearnow; and two brothers, Benton Fearnow and Jesse Fearnow Jr.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Berkeley Springs Presbyterian Church in Berkeley Springs. The Rev. Robert S. Osborne will officiate. Entombment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Martinsburg, W.Va.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 306 Union St. in Berkeley Springs, which will open at 10 a.m.

William B. Shelton
William Blake Shelton, infant son of Lisa A. Shelton of 1740 Howell Road, Hagerstown and David R. Sullivan of Waynesboro, Pa., died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.
He was born Oct. 25, 1999, in Baltimore.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Trisha Rouse of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Gerald Shelton of Richlands, Va.; his paternal grandparents, Joe and Peggy Sullivan of Waynesboro; his maternal great-grandmother, Margaret Sprecher of Hagerstown; five aunts; three uncles; and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Rose Hill cemetery in Hagerstown. The Rev. Mark D. Johnson will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Boulevard North, Hagerstown.

Harold A. Baker
Harold Augustus "Gus" Baker, 75, of 124 N. Edgewood Drive, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 24, 1924, in State Line, Pa., he was the son of the late Charles Herman and Emma Charlotte Potter Fitz Baker.
He was a carpenter. He and his wife owned Pleasant View Inn, and Southend Tavern.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a Protestant.
He was a member and past president of Colt Corral 7; a member of Ravens Roost; AMVETS Post 10; VFW 1936; Red Men 84 of Williamsport; Middleburg/Mason-Dixon Line Historical Society, Inc.; Eagles of Waynesboro, Pa.; BPO Elks 378; AARP; and American Legion Post 373 of Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis L. Shank Baker; three daughters, Kristina Weaver of Fairplay; Coleen Elizabeth Sharon of Hagerstown and Annette Canfield of Keedysville; a son, Brian P. Baker of Hagerstown; three sisters, Mildred Haynes of Boonsboro, Ruth Buss of Columbia, Md. and Alice Salvatore of Hagerstown; a brother, Ralph Baker of Freeport, Pa.; seven grandsons; a granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nell Burcham; and four brothers, Keller Fitz, Bill Fitz, Tom Fitz and Clyde Fitz.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home , 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Patricia Drake will officiate. Burial will be in Beautiful View cemetery in State Line, Md.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Catherine B. Hoffman
Catherine Bell Hoffman, 84, of 566 Salem Ave., Hagerstown, and formerly of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., died Monday, March 20, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 28, 1915, in Harpers Ferry, she was the daughter of the late Frank B. and Sarah Littleton Bell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin E. Hoffman.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Stinson of Funkstown, Phyllis Ingram of Williamsport and Billie Long of Harpers Ferry; two sons, Barry R. Hoffman of Hagerstown and Terry C. Hoffman of Brunswick, Md.; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Addie Steward, Anna Hunt, Alice Hackley and Florence Childs; two brothers, Charles Bell and Albert Bell; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, 970 Washington St. in Harpers Ferry. The Rev. Richard Neal will officiate.

Edgar B. Morrison III
Edgar Bruce Morrison III, formerly of South Baltimore, died Saturday, March 18, 2000.
He was the son of Edgar Bruce Morrison Jr. and the late Sophie M. Papsan Morrison.
In addition to his father, he is survived by aunts and uncles.
Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, 130 E. Fort Ave. in South Baltimore.
Burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Frederick S. Barnhart
Frederick Sensel Barnhart, 51, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, March 19, 2000, at his home.
Born April 24, 1948, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late John Frederick and Ruth Margaret Young Barnhart.
He attended Berkeley Springs High School in Berkeley Springs.
He worked at Eastern Products; and at Dual Highway Car Wash, both in Hagerstown.
He was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hancock.
He is survived by a sister, Barbara K. Barnhart of Hagerstown; a brother, Douglas R. Barnhart of Williamsport; and two aunts.
He was preceded in death by two uncles.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Fulton County, Pa. The Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt Jr. will officiate.
