Edna P. Sigler
Edna Pauline Sigler, 85, of 216 Nottingham Road, Hagerstown, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Home.
Born April 10, 1914, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice Seville Wolfe.
Her first husband, Theodore Knox, died in 1970.
Her second husband, George Sigler, died in 1972.
She was a member of Christ's Reformed Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Upperman and Margaret Barncord, and a brother, Lawrence Wolfe.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Don R. Stevenson will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Elizabeth C. Heare
Elizabeth C. Heare, 79, of Oak Springs Road, Hagerstown, died Sunday, March 5, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born April 18, 1920, near Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mae Haines Shanholtz.
Her husband, Campbell P. Heare, preceded her in death.
She was employed by Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown.
She is survived by one son, Roger E. Heare Sr. of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced by Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg.
Doris E. Moore
CASCADE - A memorial service for Doris E. Moore, 80, of 25407 Military Road, who died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, will be held today at 7 p.m. at Germantown Church of God in Cascade. Pastor Paul Tobias will officiate.
Linda S. Holmes
Linda S. Holmes, 76, formerly of Hagerstown, died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Patrick A. Pierce will officiate.

Harry O. Karn
FREDERICK, Md. - Harry Owen Karn, 76, of 5781 Box Elder Court, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Northampton Manor Nursing Home in Frederick.
Born April 26, 1923, in Burkittsville, Md., he was the son of the late George C. and Fannie Elizabeth Norris Karn.
He was employed as a supervisor by Bendix Corp. in Towson, Md.; then by B&O Railroad in Brunswick, Md. for 25 years. He worked as a warehouse shipping supervisor for Sears in Gaithersburg, Md., until retirement.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of First Christian Church in Lehigh Acres, Fla.
He was a member of Steadman-Keenan Post 96 American Legion in Brunswick.
He had been a pitcher with the Frederick County Fast Pitch Softball League.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Louise Davis Karn; three children, Juanita L. Conkling of Arlington, Va., Gloria J. Eaves of New Windsor, Md. and G. Frank Karn of Damascus, Md.; sisters and brothers, Alma Merriman of Frederick, Mary Broyles of Burkittsville, George Karn of Burkittsville, Gerald C. Karn of Gapland and Earlene Redman of Yarrowsburg; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St. in Middletown. The Rev. Mark Foucart, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Walkersville, Md., will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Burkittsville.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Richard L. Eaton
Richard Leon Eaton, 58, of 613 George St., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 2, 1941, in Keedysville, he was the son of the late Robert L. Eaton Sr. and Anna M. Rohrer Eaton Marshall.
He was a member of Owls Club of Hagerstown.
He is survived by one daughter, Dorothy Elizabeth Jimenez of Langdon Park, Md.; one son, James Tennette of Baltimore; three stepdaughters, Jennifer Shears of Williamsport, Lois Leggett of Greencastle, Pa., and Helen Davis of Hampstead, Md.; two stepsons, Stanley Fisher and Gordon Fisher, both of Baltimore; two sisters, Della L. Maphis and Anna M. Harden, both of Hagerstown; one brother, Robert L. Eaton Jr. of Keedysville; two stepsisters, Janis Morris of Hagerstown, and Bonnie Smith of Florida; one stepbrother, Eddie Marshall of Erie, Pa.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Rodney Marshall; and two brothers, Harry L. Eaton and Donald L. Eaton.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert D. Swank Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Keedysville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Doris E. Moore
CASCADE - Doris E. Moore, 80, of 25407 Military Road, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at the home of her daughter, Vicki L. Sanders of Cascade.
Born Feb. 11, 1920, in Cascade, she was the daughter of the late Walter J. Olsen and Zula H. Eyler.
She was a 1938 graduate of Smithsburg High School. She attended Waynesboro Business College.
She was a member of Germantown Church of God in Cascade.
She was a waitress at McClain's Diner, a clerk at Bob Eyler's Store, and was self-employed making custom made draperies for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Club.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Moore, whom she married
Sept. 29, 1940; two daughters, Bonnie L. Hayman of Centreville, Va., and Vicki L. Sanders of Cascade; two sons, Frank O. Moore Jr. of Kirkland, Wash., and Shawn L. Moore of San Diego; one sister, Undine Bennett of Ocean Pines, Md.; three brothers, Richard Olsen and Thomas Olsen, both of Cascade, and Everett Olsen of Thurmont, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Olsen; and a daughter, Kittie S. Brown.
A memorial service will be held today at 7 p.m. at Germantown Church of God in Cascade. Pastor Paul Tobias will officiate.
There will be no viewing; the family will receive friends following the service.
