Martha J. DeLauney
Martha Juanita Dill DeLauney, 69, of 8435 S. Burhans Blvd., Hagerstown, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 12, 1930, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ono and Emma Mae Recher Dill.
She was employed by Londontown Manufacturing Co. in Boonsboro, retiring in 1994. She was a former caregiver.
She was a member of First Christian Church.
She was a member of Williamsport Redmen Tribe 84; Amalgamated Textile Workers Union; and Quilters Guild.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles Willard DeLauney; two daughters, Linda J. Sellman of Boonsboro and Debra L. Graser of Taneytown, Md.; a son, the Rev. Robert W. DeLauney of Hagerstown; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Davis and Betty Furr; and three brothers, Paul Dill, Harold Dill and Mitchell Dill.
Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North in Hagerstown. The Rev. A. Louise Banks will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Keith W. Race
Keith Walter Race, 71, of 20444 Race Lane, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Jan. 22, 1929, in Casper, Wyo., he was the son of the late Frank Harold and Marjorie Angeline Phinney Race.
He was a graduate of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
He was a former employee of Oliver Co. in Charie City, Iowa, for 13 years. He retired from Mack Trucks in 1987.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus; Mack Management Club; and past president of Golden Bull Dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Dodd Race, whom he married
in 1950; two daughters, Lou Ann Race Kellner of Monkton, Md. and Joan M. Race of Spring Grove, Pa.; six sons, Keith Tracy Race of Fort Collins, Colo., Karney D. Race of Hagerstown, Bradford O. Race of Boonsboro, Jeffrey J. Race of Frederick, Md., Bruce P. Race of Kailua, Hawaii and Paul R. Race of Hanover, Pa.; a sister, Juanita Moody-Crawford of Nebraska; 12 grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North in Hagerstown, with prayers offered at 7 p.m. by Rev. George A. Limmer.

John W. Clark
Dr. John Wilson Clark, 77, of 13027 Gordon Circle, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at Coffman Nursing Home in Hagerstown.
Born Aug. 23, 1922, in Ancon, Panama Canal Zone, he was the son of the late Herbert Charles Clark and Jessie Sanderson Wilson.
His first wife, Jeanne McLavy Clark, died in 1980.
He was a 1940 graduate of Balboa High School in Balboa, Canal Zone; and a 1944 graduate of Haverford (Pa.) College. He earned a dental degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry in 1948, and a medical degree from N.Y. Medical College in 1955.
He was a local surgeon since 1962. He served as chief of plastic surgery for Washington County and consulted with hospitals in Waynesboro, Pa., Chambersburg, Pa., McConnellsburg, Pa., Cumberland, Md., and Frederick, Md.
He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
He was a member of John Staige Davis Plastic Surgery Society of Maryland; American Medical Association; American Society of Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate; Washington County Medical Society and Plastic Surgery Society of Peru. He was a fellow of American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and Robert H. Ivy Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
He served on the directorship of Cleft Lip and Palate Clinics; Handicapped Children's Services-Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and Oro-Facial Clinic of Hagerstown. He was on the Chamber of Commerce board of directors from 1979 to 1981, was district chairman of Mason Dixon Boy Scouts of America and was a founder and member of Mason-Dixon Canoe Cruisers.
He is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Clark Graham of Hagerstown and Ann Clark Lafferty of Silver Spring, Md.; two sons, David Worth Clark of Berwyn, Pa., and John Worth Clark of Denver; his former wife, Barbara Sowers Thomas of Hagerstown; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Patrick A. Pierce will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown; and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Natalie H. Dick
Natalie H. Dick, 68, of 2011 Maplewood Drive, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at Fox Chase Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Silver Spring, Md.
Born Feb. 17, 1931, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John Francis and Mary Leoada Baughman Hickey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Dick, in 1976.
She was employed by the U.S. government as deputy assistant secretary for the Air Force in Research and Development at the Pentagon.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
She was a member of Women's Club; English Speaking Union; Royal Oak Foundation; National Trust for Historic Preservation; Ralph S. Tagg Jr. Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary 14; Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion Auxiliary; American Austin Bantam Car Club; and AARP.
She is survived by a brother, John H. Hickey of Hagerstown; and cousins.
Services will be Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Patrick A. Pierce and the Rev. Everitt Pearson will officiate.
Burial will be private.
There will be no viewing.

Paul L. Stouffer Sr.
BOONSBORO - Paul Lee Stouffer Sr., 82, of 106 St. Paul St., died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at his home.
Born June 11, 1917, in Barnets, Pa., he was the son of the late Samuel Stouffer and Lily Paxton Stouffer McGee.
He retired in 1981 from Hagerstown Junior College as superintendent of buildings and grounds.
He was a member of Mount Nebo United Methodist Church in Boonsboro.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary E. Kline Stouffer; a daughter, Rebecca A. Mummert of Sykesville, Md.; a son, P. Lee Stouffer Jr. of Hagerstown; a brother, Earl Stouffer of Boonsboro; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. The Rev. Kenneth J. Fizer Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
