Lillie C. Collins
SANFORD, N.C. - Lillie Charles Collins, 87, of 215 Midland Ave., died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at her home.
Her husband, Robert C. Collins, preceded her in death.
She is survived by five daughters, Esther M. Rice and Laura Hall, both of Sanford, Evelyn Barrett of Fayetteville, N.C., Linda Kelly of Anderson Creek, N.C., and Peggy Starns of Claremont, N.C.; two sons, Robert C. Collins Jr. of Charlotte, N.C., and Grady Collins of Andrews, S.C.; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas C. Collins.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Miller-Boles Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Ave., Sanford. The Rev. Donny Drake will officiate. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.
Sylvia D. Dunahugh
Sylvia Dawn Dunahugh, 57, of 11218 Greenberry Road, Hagerstown, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 4, 1942, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of Margaret E. Anderson Potter of Hagerstown, and the late Oliver L. Potter.
She was a 1960 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
She was a hair stylist.
She was a member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Nelson S. Dunahugh; two daughters, Bobbi S. Dunahugh and Krista L. Dunahugh, both of Hagerstown; two sons, David W. Dunahugh of Hampton, Va., and Travis M. Dunahugh, at home; three sisters, Bette Burger of Greencastle, Pa., and Lawana Huff and Ellen Moore, both of Texas; one brother, Michael Potter of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Pastor Dean M. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Virginia F. Rohrer
Virginia F. Rohrer, 72, of 1000 Brinker Drive, Hagerstown, died at her home.
Born Nov. 15, 1927, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry I. and Frances N. Smith Thomas.
She retired from Sears.
She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
She was a member of D.A.R.; and Funkstown Post 211 American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Brenda S. McDanolds of Middletown, Md.; a son, Brian T. Rohrer of Westminster, Md.; two sisters, Ruth Custer and Mary Jane Thomas, both of Hagerstown; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry W. Thomas.
Services will be Thursday at noon at John Wesley United Methodist Church. The Rev. Richard W. Simpson will officiate.
Arrangements are by Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St. in Hagerstown.
Charles G. Oden
FREDERICK, Md. - Charles Grayson Oden, 68, of 819 Montclaire Ave., died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 16, 1931, he was the son of the late Russell Valentine Sr. and Myrtle A. Prichard Oden.
He was employed by R. B. Stine Inc., as an excavator; and then by Williams Construction Co.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in the Korean War.
He was a member of Francis Scott Key Post 11, American Legion; Loyal Order of Moose 371; and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 684, all of Frederick.
He is survived by his fiance, Jean M. Hoffman of Thurmont, Md.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell V. Oden Jr. and John Oden.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The Rev. Charles Beekley will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Garnetta M. Daley
Garnetta Mildred Daley, 82, of 14725 Daley Road, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 11, 1917, in Thilmington, Md., she was the daughter of the late John William and Daisy Maude Showe Smith.
She attended Fairplay School.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship in Hagerstown.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Martin Daley, whom she married
April 21, 1934; a daughter, Arlene F. Whisner of Hagerstown; two sons, Donald L. Daley of Greencastle, Pa. and Ronald A. Daley of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters; four brothers; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Brethren Church cemetery in Coseytown, Pa. Pastor Leon R. Yoder will officiate.
There will be no public viewing.

Arthur L. Lajoie
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Arthur Louis Lajoie, 88, of 222 Tamarack Way, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home.
Born Aug. 17, 1911, in Lawrence, Mass., he was the son of the late Louis and Marie Breton Lajoie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Therese Bouchard Lajoie.
He retired from the U.S. Weather Bureau, Washington, D.C., as a meteorologist technician.
A U.S. Army veteram, he served in World War II.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Brunswick.
He is survived by three daughters, Celeste Tyndall of Walkersville, Md., Annette Lajoie of Gambrills, Md., and Bernadette Almasy of Brunswick; a son, Louis Lajoie of Emmitsburg, Md.; a sister, Rita Rogers of Methuen, Mass; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edmond Lajoie.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Petersville, Md. The Rev. Lawrence Gesy will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Petersville.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m., at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. The funeral home will be open from 9 a.m.
