Alma E. Bowser
BOONSBORO - Alma E. Bowser, 84, of 8507 Mapleville Road, and formerly of Frederick Street, Hagerstown, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Fahrney-Keedy Home in Boonsboro.
Born March 8, 1915, in Bittinger, Md., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Elmer and Lulu Alta Moon Bowser.
She retired from Maidstone Inc.
She was a member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren and Personal Workers Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a sister, Emma L. Bowser of Waynesboro, Pa.; a brother, Samuel Bowser; three nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Bowser; and a brother, Homer C. Bowser.
Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Dean M. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Betty L. Love
Betty Lou Love, 74, of 2 W. Wilson Blvd., died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at her home.
Born Jan. 23, 1926, in Minneapolis, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mabel Scott Herman.
Her husband, Jack Edward Love, died in 1999.
She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 16 years, retiring in 1985. She was a New York buyer in the garment industry for Goldblatt's, Lane Bryant, Eyerly's and Dayton-Hudson.
She was a member of AMVETS Post 10 in Hagerstown.
She is survived by one daughter, Gretchen Love of Hagerstown; one son, Michael Barrett Love of Hagerstown; two sisters, Dorothy Ann Lanes of Los Altos, Calif., and Mary Jane Kohen of Henderson, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. Carroll Boyer will officiate. Private burial will be at Rocky Gap Veterans cemetery at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday two hours prior to the service.

Harry R. Reeder
SHARPSBURG - Harry Roscoe Reeder, 77, of 110 E. Main St., and formerly of Rohrersville, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home.
Born Jan. 31, 1923, in Keedysville, he was the son of the late Emmons and Gertrude Stull Reeder.
His wife of 47 years, Evelyn Virginia Reeder, died in 1992.
He retired in 1981 from the State Highway Administration.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in World War II.
He was a member and past officer of Rohrersville Ruritan Club; a member of Maryland Classified Employees Association; and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Hagerstown.
He is survived by two daughters, Judith Diane Spielman of Sharpsburg and Joan Lee Haynes of Hagerstown; a sister, Hazel Gardner of Hagerstown; two brothers, Charles Reeder of Rohrersville and Leroy Reeder of Boonsboro; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Loyal H. Vanderveer will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery in Locust Grove, Md.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jackie L. Corbett
HANCOCK - Jackie L. Corbett, 59, of Brent Street, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.
Born May 1, 1940, in Hancock, he was the son of the late Lorenzo D. and Viola Jackson Corbett.
He was a 1958 graduate of Hancock High School and attended Hagerstown Junior College.
He was employed at Mack Trucks in Hagerstown for 38 years.
He attended Hancock United Methodist Church.
He was a member of U.A.W. 171 in Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife, Judith C. McDonald Corbett; a daughter, Gina Esposito of Greencastle, Pa.; two sons, Jackie L. Corbett II of Tallahassee, Fla., and Michael D. Corbett of Hollywood, Md.; three sisters, Dolores A. Corbett of Washington, D.C., Vivian M. Smith of Hagerstown and Dianne L. Myers of Arnold, Md.; three brothers, Melvin Corbett of Pittsburgh, Robert W. Corbett and Joseph Corbett, both of Hancock; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Hildalee Goodhart; and a brother, Edward Corbett.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
A memorial servics will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hancock United Methodist Church, Hancock. The Rev. Robert G. Brennan Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Catalpa United Methodist cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Grace A. Iden
HANCOCK - Grace A. Iden, 75, of Fairview Drive, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown.
Born May 18, 1924, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Dennis R. and Elizabeth Manning Snyder.
Her husband, Harry D. Iden, died Nov. 24, 1995.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Hancock Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie Custer of Hancock and Louise Trail of Needmore, Pa.; a brother, Wayne Iden of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Ruth Bemis of Erie, Pa., and Catherine Creek of Hancock; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elwood Snyder, Raymond Snyder and Dennis Snyder.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock. The Rev. Willis Swope will officiate. Burial will be in Stone Bridge Brethren Cemetery, Hollow Road, Hancock.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open from 2 p.m.
