Ray H. McAllister
Ray Howard McAllister, 75, of 14014 Marsh Pike, and formerly of Chewsville, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 12, 1924, in Clear Spring, he was the son of the late Howard McAllister and Edna Ellen McAllister Atwood.
His wife, Gladys Marie McAllister, died in 1992.
He retired from Western Maryland Railroad after 34 years.
He is survived by one son, Michael Ray McAllister of Smithsburg; one sister, Betty J. McAllister Snyder of Hagerstown; one brother, George F. McAllister of Funkstown; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John W. McAllister.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Robert F. Bair
Robert F. Bair, 93, of Hagerstown, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at his home.
Born Feb. 11, 1906, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Arthur E. and Katie E. Widdows Bair.
His wife, Regina Gouker Bair, died in 1996.
He was a retired automobile painter.
He is survived by a daughter, Katie Elizabeth Peyton of Lanham, Md.; a sister, Alma Perrott of Hagerstown; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Bair; and three brothers, Howard Bair, Russell T. Bair and Carl Bair.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren cemetery in Myersville, Md. Pastor Tim Ritchie Martin will officiate.
Arrangements are by Ricketts Funeral Home, Myersville.
Ralph L. Sigler
MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Ralph Leon Sigler, 80, of 224 Broad St., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at his home.
Born Nov. 6, 1919, in Locust Valley, Md., he was the son of the late John H. and Elizabeth Butts Sigler.
He was a retired employee of Fairchild Industries in Hagerstown; then worked as a mechanic at Middletown Ford, and for the Montgomery County, Md., government.
He was a member of Locust Valley Bible Church in Middletown.
He attended Food and Friends in Middletown.
He was a member of Thunderbug Cart Club.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Marie Crone Sigler; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Locust Valley Bible Church, 1323 Marker Road in Middletown. The Rev. Curvin D. Stambaugh will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St. in Middletown, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation also will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the church.

Chester F. Pryor
SMITHSBURG - Chester F. "Buck" Pryor, 86, who died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, also was preceded in death by sisters Amanda Brown, Mary Pryor, Ruth Keane, Naomi Cooper and Anna May Pryor; and two brothers, Charles Pryor and Robert Pryor.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, Pa.
Kenneth A. Myers
WILLIAMSPORT - The Rev. Kenneth Albert Myers, 88, of Williamsport Nursing Home, and formerly of Falling Waters Road, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at the home.
Born Aug. 12, 1911, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Robert Lincoln and Ida Mae Davis Myers.
His wife, Gladys Loretta Stenger Myers, died in 1989.
He was a minister in many area churches until his retirement.
He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by two daughters, Juanita M. Palmer of Hagerstown and Donna K. Coble of Martinsburg, W.Va.; a son, David R. Myers of Waynesboro, Pa.; two sisters, Myra Jane Taylor and Ethel Irene Hose, both of Hagerstown; a brother, Carl Lloyd Myers of Williamsport; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Yvonne E. Myers and Bonnie L. Myers; a son, Walter K. Myers; a sister, Hazel Shank; and four brothers, Robert Myers, the Rev. Lester D. Myers, Paul Jones Myers and Earl D. Myers.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 127 Britner Ave. in Williamsport. The Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St. in Williamsport. The funeral home will be open Friday after 9 a.m.
Pauline P. Kaetzel
WILLIAMSPORT - Pauline Pearl Kaetzel, 85, of 235 E. Potomac St., died Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.
Born Jan. 4, 1915, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Elias and Sophia Virginia Howelette Young.
Her husband, William Lewis Kaetzel, died in 1967.
She was a 1933 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She retired from Fairchild Aircraft of Hagerstown and Western Maryland Hospital Center. She had been employed by St. James School.
She was a member of Downsville Church of the Brethren and attended Downsville Christian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl L. Miller of Williamsport; one son, William B. Kaetzel of Williamsport; one sister, Lucille Hoffman of Martinsburg, W.Va.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Loretta Kaetzel; and one sister, Lula Cianelli.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Rev. E. Reese Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open after 9 a.m.
