Donald E. Dashnaw
ROCKY POINT, N.C. - Donald Elwin Dashnaw, 75, of Rocky Point and formerly of Hagerstown, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C.
Born June 29, 1924, in Ogdensburg, N.Y., he was the son of the late Napoleon and Anna Jamieson Dashnaw.
He retired from Fairchild Industries in Germantown, Md., in 1986.
He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary E. Dashnaw; six children, Debbie Langley, Darlene Campbell and Dianne Ray, all of Rocky Point, Derek Ray of Raleigh, N.C., Dennis Ray of Clarksburg, Md., and Gregory Dashnaw of Denmark; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Dashnaw.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Andrew's Mortuary Hampstead Chapel in Hampstead, N.C. The Rev. Elbert Bradshaw will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow in Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, and at their home this evening.
Caitlin M. Seville
Caitlin Marie Seville, infant, of Maugansville, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000. Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
Max L. Powell
Max Leroy Powell, 74, of Meadow Wood Drive, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 2, 1925, in Cherry Run, W.Va., he was the son of the late Russell Franklin and Goldie May Mullen Powell.
He was a pipefitter with Western Maryland Railroad for 44 years before retiring in 1983.
He was a veteran of U.S. Navy, serving during World War II.
He was a member of Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion, Amvets Post 10, Hagerstown VFW, Funkstown Moose, Williamsport Redmen's Club and Eagles Inc. of Waynesboro, Pa.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rhoda F. Powell; a son, Max Larry Powell of Williamsport; a stepdaughter, Mary Jean Betts of Greencastle, Pa.; a stepson, Charles Hadley of Marlowe, W.Va.; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Oda Harbaugh.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. The Rev. Thomas Perry will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Douglas G. Yost Jr.
CLEAR SPRING - Douglas Garrett Yost Jr., 31, of 12228 Orebank Road, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at his home.
Born Feb. 29, 1968, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Douglas G. and Martha E. Hornbaker Yost Sr. of Clear Spring.
He was a 1986 graduate of Clear Spring High School.
He was employed by Clear Spring High School as a custodial engineer.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 10 years, Christine A. Wolfe Yost of Clear Spring; a stepdaughter, Brittany Eckel at home; a stepson, Aaron Eckel of Maugansville; a brother, Todd L. Yost of Clear Spring; a niece; three aunts; and five uncles.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, 13607 National Pike in Clear Spring. The Rev. Robert Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul cemetery in Clear Spring.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Anna L. Davidson
HANCOCK - Anna Louise Davidson, 75, of Orchard Ridge Road, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born April 24, 1924, in South Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Annie L. Lapron Ross.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Davidson.
She retired in 1989 from Rayloc in Hancock.
She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hancock.
She is survived by a sister, Margaret Kalinowski of Gardner, Maine.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mack A. Ross.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hancock. The Rev. George W. Glick will be celebrant. Burial will be in Blue Hill cemetery in Boston, at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. in Hancock, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
Robert E. Wilson
FREDERICK, Md. - Robert Earnest Wilson, 63, of 826 Chadwick Circle, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 11, 1936, in Barthlows, Md., he was the son of the late Ira T. and Myrtle Gue Wilson.
He had been employed as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator with R.F. Kline Company, retiring in 1981.
He is survived by his companion of 32 years, Alice D. Allison; three daughters, Susan Bell of Walkersville, Md., Donna Smith of Burkittsville, Md., and Tina Osborne of Frederick; seven sisters, Nellie Sier, Mary Jane Briggs, Thelma Bruchey and Joann Mills, all of Frederick, Mazie Specht of Walkersville, Betty Lou Merck of Georgia and Janet Raffensburger of Baltimore; four brothers, Donald Wilson of Barthlows, William Wilson of Hagerstown, Thomas Wilson of Frederick and Paul Wilson of Union Bridge, Md.; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Home, 1201 N. Market St. in Frederick. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open Monday from 1 to 9 p.m.

Richard L. Stull
KEEDYSVILLE - Richard Leon Stull, 56, of 19060 Keedysville Road, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at Colton Villa Nursing Center in Hagerstown.
Born Nov. 7, 1943, in Keedysville, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Clidie M. Lewis Stull.
He is survived by a sister, Shirley R. Rowe of Sharpsburg; four brothers, Benjamin F. Stull Jr. of Bakersville, Md., Dallas L. Stull of Sharpsburg, and Robert L. Stull and Gurnie A. Stull, both of Keedysville; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Fairview cemetery in Keedysville.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
