Evelyn Marie Gigeous
WILLIAMSPORT - Evelyn Marie Gigeous, 75, of 216 E. Potomac St., died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at her home.
Born Jan. 21, 1924, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Percy McKendrick and Carrie Rhea Cline Murray.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mason Paul Gigeous, in 1971.
She was a 1942 graduate of Williamsport High School; and a 1944 graduate of Hagerstown Business College.
She and her husband owned and operated Gigeous Groceries in Williamsport. She worked for General Motors Parts in Martinsburg, W.Va. until retiring in 1991.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport.
She was a member of Williamsport Democratic Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy A. Gigeous, at home; two sons, Murray Douglas Gigeous, at home and Steven P. Gigeous of Williamsport; a sister, Lois Elaine Murray of Baltimore; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William E. Murray.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 35 W. Potomac St. in Williamsport. The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Marjorie J. Fisher
Marjorie Jean Fisher, 71, of 17809 Garden Spot Drive, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 20, 1928, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William S. Michael and Rose Rader Bosley.
She was a graduate of Petersburg (W.Va.) High School.
She worked as a beautician; and later worked at Bon-Ton.
She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joseph E. Fisher; a daughter, Linda A. Kelley of Hagerstown; a stepbrother, James L. Bosley of Old Fields, W.Va.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; an aunt; two step-nieces; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla J. Green.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North in Hagerstown. The Rev. Lawrence L. Rickard will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Donald L. Rogers
Donald L. Rogers, 66, of Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 3, 1933, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Hazel Blanche Beard Rogers of Palm Springs, Calif., and the late Calvin Barzella Rogers.
He was a 1951 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
He was a retired auto mechanic.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a member of Gateway Brethren Fellowship.
He was a member of Dixon Troxell Post No. 211 Funkstown American Legion; and AARP.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Jackie Wade Rogers; two daughters, Donna M. Repp and Susan E. Stine, both of Hagerstown; three sons, John R. Rogers of Palm Springs, Steven L. Rogers of Trappe, Md. and David B. Rogers of Hagerstown; a sister, Joan Rogers Arugay of Palm Springs; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Rogers.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Gerald A. Barr will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Luther M. Lynn
Luther Martin Lynn, 77, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 25, 1922, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Andrew H. and Ethel M. Specker Lynn.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was employed by G.M. Gehr and Son, retiring in 1998. Previously, he was employed by Smith Oil Co. as a manager.
He was a member of American Legion, Williamsport Post 202.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Lynn; a daughter, Sue McPeak of Hagerstown; five sons, Edwin E. Munson Jr., William F. Munson Sr., Michael L. Munson Sr., Richard Allen Munson and Timothy D. Munson Sr., all of Hagerstown; two sisters, Miriam L. Payne of Winchester, Va., and Gloria A. Slone of Roanoke, Va.; five brothers, James A. Lynn and Cecil M. Lynn, both of Hagerstown, Guy W. Lynn of Williamsport, Gerald P. Lynn of Chambersburg, Pa., and Orville A. Lynn of Smithsburg; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond W. Lynn Sr.; and a stepgrandson.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Ed Hampton will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, with military honors by American Legion Morris Frock Post 42.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Harry W. Dailey
GLEN BURNIE, Md. - Harry W. Dailey, 61, of Glen Burnie, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1999.
He was born Nov. 26, 1938, in Virginia.
He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Dailey; three daughters, Kim Fall, Kim Ann and Cheryl; four sons, Michael, Jimmy, Andy and Brian; two brothers, Donald Dailey of Hagerstown and Randolph Dailey; a sister, Priscilla Dailey; 12 grandchildren; and cousins in Hagerstown.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at George J. Gonce Funeral Home, 4001 Ritchie Highway, Baltimore. Burial will be in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
