Raymond H. Thompson
CASCADE - Raymond H. "Tommy" Thompson, 81, of 14333-A McAfee Hill Road, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at Manorcare Health Services in Chambersburg, Pa.
Born July 25, 1918, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of the late Pearl Twigg Thompson Wesenmiller.
His wife, Louise J. DeLawter Thompson, died May 26, 1990. They were married
July 2, 1960.
He was a 1936 graduate of Cumberland High School.
He was retired from the U.S. Post Office with 38 years of service in Washington, D.C., and Hagerstown. He previously had worked on a farm; and for Cellanese Corp. in Cumberland.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served in the South Pacific during World War II.
He was a member of Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.
He was a member of Cascade American Legion Post 239.
He is survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Thompson.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church, 14753 Charmian Road, Blue Ridge Summit. The Rev. Robert S. Edmundson will officiate. After cremation, the ashes will be buried in Bethel Church cemetery in Cascade at the convenience of the family.
At Mr. Thompson's request, there be no public viewing.

Sharon A. Sarver
Sharon Ann Sarver, 51, of 111 W. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 20, 1948, in Frederick, Md., she was the daughter of Dorothy Hill Carbaugh of Buckeystown, Md., and the late Thomas Edward Carbaugh Sr.
She had been employed by Washington County Hospital in the housekeeping department.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Samuel Lee Sarver Sr.; a daughter, Sandra Ann Sarver of Hagerstown; two sons, Samuel Lee Sarver Jr. and Charles Edward Sarver, both of Hagerstown; a brother, Thomas Edward Carbaugh Jr. of Frederick; a sister, Donna Lee Weeks of Ellabell, Ga.; a cousin; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open from 3 p.m.
Lucia C. Britti
Lucia C. Britti, 84, of 809 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Feb. 15, 1915, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Antonia C. Castellani Carpegna.
Her husband, Antonio Britti, died in 1972.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hagerstown; Catholic Daughters of America and Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Gradinett of Fairplay; a son, Anthony F. Britti of Hagerstown; a stepdaughter, Catherine Saum of Hagerstown; a stepson, Dominic Britti of Silver Spring, Md.; four sisters, Catherine Borne, Nancy Cromer, Frances Carpegna and Mary Yosuico, all of Hagerstown; a brother, Paul Carpegna of Hagerstown; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. George Limmer will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. Prayers will be said at 8 p.m.

Edward L. Willingham
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Edward Lee "Buzz" Willingham, 55, of 306 Central Ave., died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, Md.
Born Feb. 22, 1944, in Middleway, W.Va., he was the son of John Newton and Nina Mae Fritts Willingham.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean Reynolds Hoffman Willingham.
He was a retired carpenter at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore.
He was a member of Sandy Hook United Methodist Church, Sandy Hook, Md.
He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1582 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1136, both of Brunswick.
He is survived by two stepdaughters, Pam O'Connor of Brunswick and Kimberly Pessognelli of York, Pa.; a stepson, Chris Hoffman of Brunswick; six sisters, Nina Willingham of Shepherdstown, W.Va., Betty Sparks of Frederick, Thelma Binkley and Phyllis Hileman, both of Martinsburg, W.Va., Mary Lou Evans of Charles Town, W.Va., and Vicky A. Taylor of Masontown, W.Va.; four brothers, John R. Willingham of Charles Town, Donald E. Willingham and John H. Willingham, both of Inwood, W.Va., and George Willingham of Shepherdstown; six stepgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Chapman and Robert Willingham.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brownsville Church of the Brethren, Brownsville, Md. The Rev. James K. Hamrick will officiate. Burial will be in Brownsville Heights Cemetery, Brownsville.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick, which will be open Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

George R. Line
George Raymond Line, 69, of Lakeside Park, Hagerstown, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 24, 1930, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Lester C. and Carrie M. Brown Line.
He was a retired employee of Preston Trucking.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of AARP.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen Line; two daughters, Mary Long of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Therese Smith of Hagerstown; five sons, George J. Line, Timothy E. Line and Robbie Line, all of Hagerstown, and Regis J. Line and Raymond Line, both of Falling Waters; three sisters, Thelma Schaffer of Bradenton, Fla., Ruth Drury of Hagerstown and Ellen Kennedy of Philadelphia; a brother, Ralph Line of Hagerstown; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Line.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Jack Fullen will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

Clive M. Kelsall
LITTLE ORLEANS, Md. - Clive M. Kelsall, 63, of Orleans Road, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland, Md.
Born May 9, 1936, in Stoke-on-Trent, England, he was the son of the late Percy and Lydia Kelsall.
He was employed as a manager by U.S. Silica in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Previously, he had been employed as a chemist by Johnson-Matthey in Malvern, Pa.
He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hancock and St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Little Orleans.
He is survived by his wife, Madonna R. McCusker Kelsall of Little Orleans, whom he married
Oct. 26, 1991, and a son, Andrew J. Kelsall of Tampa, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Derek Kelsall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, E. High St. in Hancock. The Rev. George W. Glick will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic cemetery in Little Orleans.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. in Hancock. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open Monday from 4 to 9 p.m., a Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
