Maurice W. Wollard
Maurice William Wollard, 83, of 427 W. Church St., Hagerstown, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Jan. 30, 1916, in Thurmont, Md., he was the son of the late Frank W. and Maude Davis Wollard.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Wollard.
He retired in 1975 from Breakstone Foods. Previously, he worked on the railroad.
He was a member of VFW Post 1936.
He is survived by twin daughters, Carolyn Rodeffer Frazier and Marilyn Wollard Logsdon, both of Hagerstown; a stepdaughter, Marlene Mills of Hagerstown; a stepson, John Mastrouni of Hagerstown; two brothers, Carroll Wollard of Hagerstown and George Wollard of Lancaster, Pa.; two grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by twin sisters, Fannie Duvall and her twin who died at birth, and a brother, John Wollard.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Bill McPherson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, with military honors conducted by members of American Legion Morris Frock Post 42.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Herbert A. McMullen
HANCOCK - Herbert Allen McMullen, 87, of Weller Road, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 6, 1912, in Hancock, W.Va., he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Emaline Hiles McMullen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda E. Engle McMullen, in 1976.
He worked for Hancock Motor Company as a mechanic. He was employed as a machinist by Hancock Auto Supply in Hancock and Fairchild Industries in Hagerstown. He retired in 1979 from the Washington County Board of Education in Clear Spring.
He was a member of Hancock Assembly of God Church in Hancock.
He was a member of AARP.
He is survived by a son, Gerald A. McMullen of Hancock; two sisters, Betty Young of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Dolly Harp of Boonsboro; and a brother, George McMullen of Hancock.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. in Hancock. The Rev. George Lashley will officiate. Burial will be in Jerusalem Christian cemetery in Warfordsburg, Pa.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m.
Jaime L. Feigley
Jaime Lou Feigley, 62, of 727 Spruce St., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 24, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Alice Morrison Babcock.
Her husband, Paul Lee Feigley, died in 1994.
She was a member of Funkstown Moose.
She is survived by four sons, Paul L. Feigley Jr. of Funkstown, Frederick C. Feigley Sr. of Chambersburg, Pa., Daniel Allen Feigley Sr. of Marlowe, W.Va., and Scott Rebel Feigley of Hagerstown; four sisters, Jill Duehr, Joni Singer, Janice Storrm and Judy Witas, all of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Jade Clemens; and her stepfather, Clarence Babcock.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Family and friends will be received Saturday at 1 p.m. at 727 Spruce St., Hagerstown.
Richard B. Mann
Richard Brinson Mann, 47, of 997 N. Potomac Ave., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at his home.
Born Jan. 12, 1952, in Morehead City, N.C., he was the son of the late Covell Mann.
He was a member of Turning Point of Washington County Inc.
He is survived by a special friend, Phyllis Soroko of Hagerstown.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Rose Hill cemetery in Hagerstown. The Rev. Victor Fowlkes will officiate.
There will be no viewing.

Goldie E. Truax
KEEDYSVILLE - Goldie E. Truax, 80, of Greenhills Group Home, and formerly of Hancock, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born May 27, 1919, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Grover and Kitty Weaver Myers.
She was formerly employed by Weavers Restaurant in Hancock.
She was a former member of Washington County Homemakers; and Washington County Democratic Party.
She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hancock.
She is survived by her husband, Fred W. Truax of Hagerstown; a son, Terry Lee Truax of Towson, Md.; a sister, Pat McMurtrie of Hagerstown; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James Myers.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2 E. High St. in Hancock. The Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Thompson Road north of Hancock.
Friends may call today from 3 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. in Hancock.

Marie E. Minnick
Marie Elizabeth Minnick, 83, of 17432 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, at Homewood Nursing Home in Williamsport.
Born Oct. 23, 1916, in Franklin County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John F. and Florence E. Gruber Swisher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Donald Minnick, in 1979.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.
She was a member of Ladies of the Elks 372; American Legion Funkstown 211 Auxiliary; North American Rod and Gun Club Auxiliary; Potomac Fish and Game Club Auxiliary; Red Men Club of Williamsport; and a past member of Washington County Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Fuss of Hagerstown; a sister, Mildred Stitely of Baltimore; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald R. Minnick; a sister, Edna Swisher; and four brothers, Roy Swisher, Howard Swisher, Ross Swisher and Robert Swisher.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. in Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
