I. Blanche Kling
I. Blanche Kling, 91, of Manorcare, and formerly of 556 Siloam Road, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at Manorcare.
Born Aug. 1, 1908, in Fayetteville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Franklin W. and Ida May Shultz Ricker.
She was formerly employed by L'Aiglon Apparel in Shippensburg, Pa.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Green Village, Pa., and Willing Workers Sunday School Class.
She is survived by three daughters, B. Marie Miller of Chambersburg, Pa., I. Evelyn Jones of Lakeland, Fla., and Donna K. Harlacher of Fayetteville; one sister, Cleo Cassner, of Caledonia Manor in Fayetteville; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, 297 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg. The Rev. Diane B. Salter will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Robert W. Sweigert
Robert W. Sweigert, 72, of Landis Road, Hagerstown, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Jan. 8, 1927, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Luther B. and Mary J. Wagner Sweigert.
He was a 1945 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
He was employed by Brandt Cabinet Works in Hagerstown for 37 years; and retired from Hagerstown Kitchens.
He served with the Army during World War II.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Hagerstown.
He was a member of Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion; Sons of Post 42, Last Man's Club Post 42 in Hagerstown; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elks Lodge 378; North American Rod and Gun Club, all of Hagerstown; Lodge Order of Moose of Funkstown; Eagles Club of Waynesboro, Pa.; Williamsport Red Men Lodge 84; South Mountain Rod and Gun Club in Smithsburg; AARP, and N.R.A.
He is survived by his wife, Frances V. Bishop Sweigert; one sister, Phyllis Emmert of Hagerstown; one brother, Luther Sweigert Jr. of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg. The Rev. Harold E. Posey will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Virginia S. Hart
Virginia Susan Hart, 81, of 725 Interval Road, Hagerstown, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at her home.
Born March 14, 1918, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Dwight D. and Leah Belle Foutz Dunkel.
Her husband, Roy T. Hart Sr., died in 1979.
She was employed by Spiegel Catalog Co. in Hagerstown, retiring in 1978.
She is survived by two daughters, Lynda Susan Socks of Smithsburg and Marcella L. Higdon of Hagerstown; two sons, Roy T. Hart Jr. of Hagerstown and William F. Hart of Mercersburg, Pa.; one sister, Olive Baker of Frederick, Md.; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Boehm.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Tim Lester will officiate.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg.
Jacqueline M. Garber
MYERSVILLE, Md. - Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Garber, 70, of Myersville, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown.
Born Nov. 19, 1929, in Ellerton, Md., she was the daughter of the late Cyrus U. and Beulah J. Summers Palmer.
Her husband, Melvin Garber, died in 1975.
She retired in 1997 from Airpax in Frederick, Md., after 30 years.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Church Hill, Md.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Detrick of Olive Branch, Miss., and Linda Garber-White of Myersville; two sisters, Betty Keyser of Myersville and Barbara Martin of Waynesboro, Pa.; two brothers, Eugene Palmer of Cape Coral, Fla., and Richard Palmer of Myersville; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Tibbetts; and a brother, Kenneth Palmer.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rickett's Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Myersville.

Terrace S. Fearnow
Terrace Susan Fearnow, of 810 Forest Drive, Hagerstown, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 13, 1917, in Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late Esby E. and Annie Mae Smith Cronise.
She was a 1936 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, J. Frank Fearnow Sr.; three sons, C. Dennis Fearnow and J. Frank Fearnow Jr., both of Hagerstown, and Gary V. Fearnow of Frederick, Md.; a sister, Margaret Houpt of Boonsboro; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Hattie Cronise, Meta Ingram and Ruth Ditto; and six brothers, Fred Cronise, Jim Cronise, Bruce Cronise, Leo Cronise, Mike Cronise and Woodrow Cronise.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. Monsignor Chester Michael will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. Prayers will be offered at 6:30 p.m.
John P. Wolford
John P. "Pres" Wolford, 85, of 13224 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va., of heart problems.
Born Aug. 26, 1914, in Rockdale, Md., he was the son of the late Jesse J. and Frances P. Kesselring Wolford.
He was employed by Victor Hosiery Co. of Hagerstown; and retired from Mary Carter Paint Co. in 1971.
He was a Protestant.
He served with the Army during world War II.
He is survived by two sisters, Grace Hull and Mildred Gargana, both of Hagerstown; and two brothers, Donald Wolford and Floyd Wolford, both of Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Summers and Martha Wolford.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. The Rev. David B. Kaplan will officiate.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
