Patricia E. Crawford
LAKE PANASOFFKEE, Fla. - Patricia Ellen Crawford, 59, of Lake Panasoffkee, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, in Leesburg, Fla.
She was born in Baltimore.
She was employed by Mason's Barn in Cumberland, Md., Wayne's Family Restaurant in Greencastle, Pa., and for the past 13 years, at AMVETS Post 10.
She was a member of Zion Assembly of God Church in Maugansville.
She is survived by one daughter, Laura Crawford Keefer of Lake Panasoffkee; and two granddaughters, Angelia Crawford and Laurissa Crawford, both of Lake Panasoffkee.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. at Zion Assembly of God Church, 13814 Village Mill Drive, Maugansville. Burial will be at a later date.

John A. Johnson
CINCINNATI, Ohio - John A. Johnson, 70, of Cincinnati, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Joyce Johnson.
He is survived by his father, Luke Henderson; four daughters, Gwendolyn Alfred, Mary Malinda Wedlock, Pauletta J. Minor and Joan Michele Johnson; two sons, John E. Johnson and Michael A. Johnson; two sisters, Patricia Washington Whisenhunt and Ruth Henderson; one brother Henry Smoot; eight grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Norman Chapel of Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati. The Rev. Terence Meehan will be celebrant. Burial in Spring Grove cemetery will follow.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at Norman Chapel.

Thomas T. Forrest
SABILLASVILLE, Md. - Thomas T. Forrest, 85, of 17302 Harbaugh Valley Road, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, at Avalon Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown.
Born June 3, 1914, in Point of Rocks, Md., he was the son of the late Theodore and Lula Belle Smith Forrest.
He attended Foxville (Md.) School.
He was employed as a logger for Ralph Miller; as a threshing machine operator for Paul Fry; and by a dairy processing plant, Prior to retiring in 1976 he was a heavy equipment operator with Sam Finley Inc. Paving Co.
He is survived by his wife of more than 62 years, M. Lydia Brown Forrest; two sons, Donald T. Forrest of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., and James V. Forrest of Sabillasville; one sister, Helen Green of Manorcare Health Services in Chambersburg, Pa.; a twin brother, Theodore T. Forrest of Sabillasville; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patty Lou Baker, Sept. 21, 1995; four sisters, Edna Leister, Alta Fellows, Ethel Smith and Virginia Kendall; and three brothers, Charles Forrest, Graffton Forrest and Lawrence Forrest.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, Pa. The Rev. Eugene M. Cline will officiate. Burial will be in Brown's cemetery in Foxville, Md.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Helen C. DiBenedetto
Helen C. DiBenedetto, 84, formerly of 103 N. Cleveland Ave., Hagerstown died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at Avalon Manor Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 22, 1914, in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Nicolo and Angela Palumbo DiBenedetto.
She had worked at E. J. Fennel for 33 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sodality of the church and Catholic Daughters of America.
She was a volunteer and charter member of Birthright Pro Life.
She is survived by one sister, Edith Fogal of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and one niece, Mary A. Scheerer of Hagerstown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Jack Fullen will be celebrant. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m.

Della L. Michal
Della Louise Michal, 55, of 925 Security Road, Hagerstown, and formerly of Ft. Myers, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at her sister's home, 925 Security Road.
Born March 16, 1944, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William Dorsey and Hilda C. Nicola Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Michal Jr.
She was the bookkeeper for her company, Michal's Construction Company.
She was a member of Shiloh Church of the Brethren, Moatsville, W.Va.
She was a member of Moose Lodge, Westminster Chapter and Sheriff's Association.
She is survived by three sisters, Dina E. Rivera of Lanham, Md., Sue Tharp of Hagerstown and Sandra Kindred of Ft. Myers; two brothers, David Edwards of Elkridge, Md. and William Edwards of Clayton, N.C.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Berry.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 3, 1999 at Shiloh Church of the Brethren, Moatsville. The Rev. Larry Poling officiated. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery, Moatsville.
There was no viewing.

Malcolm S. Mullendore
Malcolm Scott "Mac" Mullendore, 44, of 9650 Old National Pike Rocky Knolls Farm, Hagerstown, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at his home.
Born April 21, 1955, in Hagerstown, he was the son of James Richardson Mullendore of Hagerstown and Donna Lee Martin Mullendore Pike of Martinsburg, W.Va.
He was a 1973 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
He was employed with Asaro's Pizza, Boonsboro and prior to that he was employed as a dairy farmer.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a member of Funkstown Lodge 2435 Loyal Order of Moose, Funkstown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Sherri A. Messerli of Martinsburg and Kristen M. Pike of Frederick, Md.; two brothers, James Martin Mullendore and Brandon J. Mullendore, both of Hagerstown; maternal grandmother, Edna E. Martin of Williamsport and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly D. Damasiewicz.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999 at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Rev. David L. Coblentz will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
There will be no viewing.
