Stephen E. Noren
TAMPA, Fla. - Stephen Edwin Noren, 51, of Tampa, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at his home.
Born Aug. 22, 1948, in Camden, N.J., he was the son of Charles H. and Virginia Kirkpatrick Noren of Hagerstown.
He was a 1966 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and later received his degree in physical science from the University of Maryland in 1970.
He worked in Environmental Sciences both for the U.S. Government and Parson's Engineering, Tampa.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Kathryn N. Snee of Washington, Pa.; one brother, Dr. Charles R. Noren of Denton, Md., and six nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.
Arrangements are by Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.
Ella R. Colbert
MAUGANSVILLE - Ella Rebecca Colbert, 76, of 13715 Village Mill Drive, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at Manorcare Nursing Home, Chambersburg.
Born Sept. 8, 1923, in Pinesburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late Wank and Mary Jane Nave Henson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gorman Colbert, in 1972.
She was retired from Fairchild Aircraft after 35 years of service.
She attended Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by two brothers, Edward L. Henson of Hagerstown and Amos E. Henson of Chambersburg, Pa.; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Wank Henson Jr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. Merle Petre and D. Richard Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cecelia L. Bloyer
Cecelia Lorraine Bloyer, 57, of 1037 Spruce St., Hagerstown, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 21, 1942, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Thelma Spense White.
She graduated from Hagerstown High School.
She had been employed at Antietam Answering Service for 12 years before becoming a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. "Beetle" Bloyer; two daughters, Terri L. Miller of Williamsport and Kristi M. Bloyer at home; two sons, Gary L. Bloyer Sr. of Chewsville and Mark A. Bloyer of Williamsport; one sister, Margie Rawlinson of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; aunts, uncles, cousins and a special aunt who was her caretaker, Rosalie Pentoney.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
John W. Williams
John Wesley Williams, 34, of 20306 Youngstoun Court, Hagerstown, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 25, 1965, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Robert E. and Nancy Barkdoll Williams.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, John Wesley Williams Jr. at home; one sister, Carrie M. Daiker of Hagerstown; one nephew; one niece; aunts and uncles.
Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

John D. Bowman
John Dennis Bowman, 50, of 20029 Jefferson Blvd., Hagerstown, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at his home.
Born Oct. 24, 1949, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late George T. and Betty Ann Bulebosh Bowman.
He was a 1967 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and also graduated from Hagerstown Community College. Later he attended the University of Maryland.
He was a member of Moose Lodge 120, Martinsburg, W.Va.; North American Rod and Gun Club and Funkstown American Legion Dixon Troxell Post 211.
He is survived by one sister, Janet K. Bowman of Smithsburg; one nephew, Corey T. Williams of Smithsburg; a special friend, Kim Chhouk of Martinsburg, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home. 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond H. Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
There will be no visitation or viewing.

Walter T. Malcolm
WILLIAMSPORT - Walter Taylor Malcolm, 78, a resident of Homewood Nursing Home and formerly of 12403 Nesbitt Ave. in Clear Spring, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at Homewood.
Born Aug. 31, 1921, in Kiefer, Md., he was the son of the late John Robert and Edith Day Malcolm.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen V. Shank Malcolm, in 1987.
He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft Industries, retiring in 1983.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps Eighth Army in the European Theater.
He was a member of Joseph C. Herbert American Legion Post 222 of Clear Spring and the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by a daughter, Pamela J. Cottrill of McVeytown, Pa.; a sister, Phyllis Maxine Yetter of Clear Spring; a brother, Clyde Eugene Malcolm of Clear Spring; three step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Louise Malcolm.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike in Clear Spring. The Rev. Andy Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
