Lisa A. Roelkey
Lisa Ann Roelkey, 32, of 925 Oak St., Hagerstown, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at her home.
Born July 21, 1967, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of Robert Wesley and Elinore J. Grimes Roelkey of Boonsboro.
She was a 1985 graduate of Boonsboro High School.
She was employed as a budget analyst for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Rockville, Md. She also worked part time for Sears in Frederick, Md.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, was secretary of the Sunday school; and a Bible school teacher.
She was a 10-gallon blood donor with American Red Cross; and a bone marrow donor.
She is survived by three sisters, Betty Eichelberger of Sharpsburg, Jane Hammond of Yarrowsburg, Md., and Trisha Roelkey of Boonsboro; four brothers, William F. Grimes of Frederick, Warren S. Roelkey of Brownsville, Md., Michael L. Roelkey of Thurmont, Md., and Timothy W. Roelkey of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Lee Roelkey; and a brother, Robert W. Roelkey Jr.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. The Rev. Wendell G. McClellan will officiate. Burial will be in Brownsville Heights Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

Thurston E. Grim
DARGAN, Md. - Thurston Eugene Grim, 69, of Dargan, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at his home.
Born July 23, 1930, in Dargan, he was the son of the late Marvin Arthur and Sarah McGowan Grim.
A veteran of the Korean War and the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army. After retiring from the U.S. Army he worked as a carpenter.
He was a Christian.
He was a member of Antietam Post No. 236 American Legion of Sharpsburg.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia "Sissy" Grim; a daughter, Sharon Grim of Dargan; four sisters, Armatha Grim of Hagerstown, Doris Bressler of Raleigh, N.C., Patsy Ferguson of Mount Rainier, Md., and Deloris Grim of Boston; and a brother, Dallas Grim of Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Stevenson; and two brothers, Vernon Grim and Milton Grim.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Sterling L. Levie Sr.
Sterling Louis Levie Sr., 88, of 660 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Manor Care in Chambersburg, Pa.
Born May 20, 1911, in New Orleans, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph and Leonie Marie Levie.
He retired from the Maryland State Roads Department.
He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
He was a member of BPO Elks No. 378; Optimist Club; and Beaver Creek Country Club. He was a volunteer at Washington County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Olivia Levie; two sons, Sterling L. Levie Jr. of Holmdel, N.J., and Michael M. Levie of Binghamton, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Barer; and five brothers, Leo Levie, Lester Levie, Herold Levie, Ernest Levie and Ed Levie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 1525 Oak Hill Ave., Hagerstown. The Rev. Andrew Mohl will be celebrant. Entombment will be in Cedar Lawn Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
Elizabeth J. Greenlee
CLEAR SPRING - Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Greenlee, 59, of 23 Main St., died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 24, 1940, in Clear Spring, she was the daughter of the late Thomas S. and Evelyn Mullin Johnson.
She was employed by Maryland Ribbon Co.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Rubeck of Clear Spring; three sons, John Richard Greenlee of Clear Spring, Kevin Allan Greenlee of Halfway and Karl Wayne Rohrer of Hagerstown; a sister, Glenda Deshong of New Oxford, Pa.; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Coffman; and a brother, Richard Johnson.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Frederick H. Faust will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Dorothy I. Stetak
AMHERST, Ohio - Dorothy I. Gurtsak Stetak, 79, of Amherst, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph Residential Center.
Born May 28, 1920, in Lorain, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Irene Whittaker Gurtsak.
Her husband, George J. Stetak, died in 1997.
She worked as a nurse's aide at St. Joseph Hospital during the 1940s.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, and the Golden Agers.
She is survived by one son, Ernest Stetak of Hagerstown; two sisters, Janet Brelich and Carol Spevak, both of Lorain; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Faith, Laura Weber and Lucille Shubert.
Services will be Thursday at 9:15 a.m. at Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave. in Lorain. The Rev. Martello will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery in Lorain.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sue A. Deneen
Sue Ann Mumma Deneen, 36, of 12001 S. Scottish Court, Hagerstown, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 3, 1962, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Robert Jr. and Stella Mason Mumma of Hagerstown.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Sterling Bell Sunday School Class.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Randy A. Deneen; two brothers, Robert M. Mumma III of Hagerstown and David M. Mumma of Greencastle, Pa.; maternal grandmother, Mary E. Weist of Chambersburg; paternal grandmother, Dorothy E. Mumma of Hagerstown; one niece and three nephews.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 108 E. Franklin St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
