SHARPSBURG - Katelyn Brooke "Katie" Resh, 4, of 3923 Harpers Ferry Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at her home.
Born Oct. 1, 1995, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of George Alan Resh of Pennsylvania and Kelly Faye Crampton Resh of Covington, Ky.
She attended Blue Mountain Church of God in Smithsburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents, Gilbert Ray and Mary Elizabeth Griffith Crampton of Sharpsburg; paternal grandmother, Marguerite Mills Resh of Hagerstown; a sister, Amanda; an aunt; two uncles; cousins; great-aunts and great-uncles.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, George Harvey Resh.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Burnside First Church of God, 3904 Mills Road in Sharpsburg. Pastor Ernest Witmer will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View cemetery in Sharpsburg.
Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St. in Williamsport, which will be open at 9 a.m.

Richard F. Lloyd
JEFFERSON, Md. - Richard Franklin Lloyd, 58, of 3850 Shadywood Drive, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center.
Born Jan. 24, 1941, in Brunswick, Md., he was the son of the late Willis Alden and Hilda Louise Clinedinst Lloyd.
He was a retired hot metal truck driver with Eastalco Aluminum in Buckeystown, Md.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of New York Hill United Methodist Church in Brunswick.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Willis Lloyd; a daughter, Christal L. Crowl of Jefferson; two sons, William L. Crum of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Robert L. Crum of Brunswick; two sisters, Barbara Koogle of Port Orange, Fla., and Ruth E. Long of Keedysville; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Webber; and a brother, Wesley Melwood Lloyd.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick. Bill Turney will officiate.

Nina G. Reid
Nina Gertrude Reid, 94, formerly of Glen Echo, Md., and Washington, D.C., died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at Colton Villa Nursing Center, Hagerstown.
Born Aug. 4, 1905, in Frederick, Md., she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Clara Phebus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Oakley Reid.
She was a graduate of Frederick High School.
She is survived by a daughter, Claire Ann Miller of Chapel Hill, N.C.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Margaret Denton.
Graveside service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Monocacy cemetery in Beallsville, Md. The Rev. Susan Hunt will officiate.
Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
Dolly V. Shank
Dolly Virginia Strickler Eyler Shank, 96, of 1052 Beechwood Drive, Hagerstown, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Williamsport Nursing Home, Williamsport.
Born June 28, 1903, in Luray, Va., she was the daughter of the late Isaac Newton Strickler and Sarah Jane McCullough Strickler.
She was formerly employed with Silk Mill in Williamsport and Fairchild Aircraft and later retired from North Hagerstown High School.
She was a lifetime member of Washington Square United Methodist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean L. Snook of Hagerstown, Doris L. Horst of Williamsport and Joyce E. Carey of Smithsburg; two sons, Gary L. Eyler of Louisville, Ky., and Ronald E. Eyler Sr. of Hagerstown; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Vance William Eyler, and several sisters and brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Harold P. Adkins will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Norma M. Gallahan
CHESTER, Md. - Norma M. Gallahan, 80, of Chester, and formerly of University Park, Md., died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999.
She is survived by her husband, Wilbur F. Gallahan; three daughters, Margaret Myers, Dorothy Gast and Mary Jane Gallahan; four sons, Martin Gallahan, Carl Gallahan, Raymond Gallahan and David Gallahan; a sister, Joan Miles; a brother, Carl Reiman; and 10 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, 3628 Rhode Island Ave., Mount Rainier, Md. Burial will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gasch's Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, Md.
Margaret V. Hoke
CATOCTIN FURNACE, Md. - Margaret Viola Anders Hoke, 73, of 12604 Catoctin Furnace Road, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Gettysburg (Pa.) Hospital.
Born Jan. 13, 1926, in Catoctin Furnace, she was the daughter of the late William Baker and Sarah Isabell Sweeney Anders.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Eugene Hoke, in 1989.
She was a lifelong member of Harriet Chapel Episcopal Parish, Catoctin Furnace.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Hoke and Patricia Hoke, both of Catoctin Furnace; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Idella Anders of Catoctin Furnace; two brothers, Charles Anders of Thurmont, Md., and Elmer Anders of Frederick, Md.; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Eugene Hoke; two sisters, Marie Little and Ola Miller; and two brothers, William Anders and Norman Anders.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon at Harriet Chapel Episcopal Church, 12625 Catoctin Furnace Road, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon. The Rev. Fran Stanford will officiate. Burial will be in Lewistown Cemetery, Lewistown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St., Thurmont, which will be open at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Robin G. Bender
DARGAN - Robin Grimm Bender, 43, of Dargan, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 29, 1956, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Myrtle Daugherty Grimm of Dargan and the late Edgar Marvin Grimm.
She was a member of Order of the Redman, Williamsport; Women of the Moose Chapter 660, Brunswick, Md.; and Sharpsburg American Legion Auxiliary Post 10, Sharpsburg.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Aaron A. Grimm of Dargan; and two grandsons, Larry Edgar Grimm and Krimson Victoria Hale, both of Dargan.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry E. Grimm.
Funeral services will be private.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, 970 Washington St., Harpers Ferry, W.Va.
