HANCOCK - Hilda M. Pryor, 72, of Sensel Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 6, 1927, in Rose, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edith Smith Boden.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Hancock.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Pryor Jr., whom she married
June 21, 1944; a daughter, Regina Beddow of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; a son, Thomas Pryor of Hancock; a sister, Ruth Lashley of Hancock; two half brothers, John Neubert of Grantsville, Md., and Richard Neubert of Colorado; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Blanche Thompson; and a brother, Elmer Boden.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, 2 E. High St., Hancock. The Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Route 655, one mile north of Hancock.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock. The funeral home will be open from 2 p.m.

Taylor L. Saville
BOONSBORO - Taylor Lynn Saville, infant daughter of Steven Lynn Saville Jr. and Nita Ann Barron, of Boonsboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
She was born Oct. 2, 1999, in Baltimore.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by maternal grandparents, Christine and William Hebb of Boonsboro and Rick Barron of Kearneysville, W.Va.; maternal great-grandparents, Fay Virts-Fleming and Richard Fleming of Brownsville, Md., Lester Virts Sr. of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Ralph and Peggy Mills of Kearneysville; maternal great-great-grandmother, Altie Mills of Brownsville; paternal grandparents, Steven and Laura Saville Sr. of Keedysville; paternal great-grandparents, Hubert and Leona Saville of Keedysville and Leona Canoles of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; three aunts and two uncles.
She was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfather, Henry Canoles Sr.
Private service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing or visitation.

Woodrow N. Holder
MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Woodrow Nelson Holder, 83, of 14 Locust Blvd., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at his home.
Born March 3, 1916, in Sandy Hook, he was the son of the late Henry James and Kate Nelson Holder.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Margaret Minnick Holder, in 1998.
He retired from Chessie System in Brunswick, Md., as a conductor. He was employed by Weis Market from 1981 to 1998, in Frederick, Md.
He was a member of Sandy Hook United Methodist Church.
He was a member of United Transportation Union in Cleveland; B&O Veterans; BPO Elks No. 684 in Frederick; and a former social member of AMVETS Post No. 9 in Middletown.
He is survived by three sisters, Louise Harrison of Knoxville, Md., Virginia McPherson of Greenville, Pa., and Betty Grams of Brunswick; a brother, James E. Holder of Brunswick; nieces and nephews.
Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. The Rev. James K. Hamrick will officiate. Burial will be in Brownsville Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open from noon.

Ralph W. Schroyer
MYERSVILLE, Md. - Ralph W. Schroyer, 74, of Myersville, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 17, 1924, in Myersville, he was the son of the late Harry L. and Cora Green Schroyer.
His wife, Mary Elizabeth Ropp Schroyer, died in 1978.
He had been employed by Ideal Farms Dairy in Frederick, Md., and retired from High's Dairy in Frederick.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Church Hill, Md.
He is survived by one daughter, Joyce Elizabeth Schroyer of Frederick; one sister, Elizabeth V. Schroyer of Frederick; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Remsberg; three brothers, Joseph, Cyrus and Charles Schroyer; and one nephew.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Ricketts Funeral Home, 504 Main St., Myersville. Pastor David Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion United Methodist cemetery in Myersville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Scott E. Morris, 31, of West Palm Beach, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, in West Palm Beach.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 141 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward H. Heim will officiate.

Idella M. Ferguson
SMITHSBURG - Idella M. Ferguson, 89, of Stevenson Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at her home.
Born April 5, 1910, in Friends Creek, Md., she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Harriet V. Turner Duffey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. Ferguson, in 1985.
She was a member of Ringgold Church of Christ.
She was a member of Sunshine Leisure Club in Smithsburg; Leitersburg Senior Citizens Club; and Ladies Auxiliary of the Smithsburg Volunteer Fire Co.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Embly of Smithsburg; two sons, Samuel Ferguson of Hagerstown and Thomas Ferguson of Beaver Creek; a brother, Ephraim Duffey of Quincy, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg. Pastor Rachel Black will officiate. Burial will be in Smithsburg Cemetery.

Edna Lenora Bast, 75, formerly of 1310 Potomac Ave., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Homewood Nursing Home in Williamsport.
Born Feb. 14, 1924, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Kurb C. and Anna Izora Shives Stoner.
She was formerly employed by Acme Markets.
She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church the Altar Society, Golden Age Club and Bereavement Society.
She was a member of AARP; American Legion Morris Frock Post 42 Auxiliary; and Eagles No. 694 Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Ann Powell of Huntingdon, Pa.; a son, Charles Wayne Basore of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; four grandchildren; David W. Elliott of Hagerstown, Eric Powell of San Diego, Jason Powell and Todd Powell, both of Odenton, Md.; and a great-grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church. The Rev. James D. Proffitt will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery in Hancock.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, where prayers will be recited at 7 p.m.
