Robert C. Miller Jr.
Robert C. Miller Jr., 76, of 1118 Oak Hill Ave., Hagerstown, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at Ravenwood Nursing Home in Hagerstown, where he lived for several months.
Born April 13, 1923, in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Robert C. and Mildred Snyder Miller Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Merletti Miller, in 1977.
He was a telephone lineman at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, retiring in 1974. Formerly, he worked for Bell Telephone Co. in Chambersburg; the Carlisle Barracks; and did seasonal work for Musselman's in Gardners, Pa.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Fayetteville Church of God in Fayetteville, Pa.
He is survived by two daughters, Dolly Bumbaugh of Chambersburg and Rita F. Hobbs of Hagerstown; a son, Robert Miller III of Biglerville, Pa.; four sisters, Betty Stake of Fayetteville, Ida Woods and Mary Norcross, both of Chambersburg, and Florence Moyer of Selingsgrove, Pa.; three brothers, Frank Miller and Jacob Miller, both of Chambersburg, and Charles Miller of Fayetteville; seven grandsons; and six great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
A service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. George S. Mouer Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln cemetery in Chambersburg, with military graveside service conducted by members of Charles M. Nitterhouse Post No. 1599 VFW Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Margaret E. Ridenour
Margaret Elizabeth Ridenour, 80, of 11 S. Walnut St., Hagerstown, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 12, 1918, in Staunton, Va., she was the daughter of the late Ralph Selby and Leona Bell Mayer Moyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Ridenour.
She is survived by three daughters, Joanne F. Ryan, Jean E. Gysberts and Janet M. Carter, all of Hagerstown; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce E. Kelbaugh; two sisters, Catherine Patterson and Betty Bowers; and three grandchildren.
Service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
Hilda Jamison
BOONSBORO - Hilda Jamison, 63, of Boonsboro, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at Reeder's Memorial Home in Boonsboro.
Born Oct. 22, 1935, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Melvin L. and Mary Boyer Fraley.
She was a member of Redman's Red Feather Tribe No. 59 in Williamsport and Women of the Moose Chapter No. 1028 in Charles Town, W.Va.
She is survived by two daughters, Dinah Stevens of Sharpsburg and Sue Jeter of Hagerstown; two sons, Jeffrey L. Jamison and William R. Jamison, both of Hagerstown; five sisters, Evelyn Williams of Kentucky, Grace Myers of Martinsburg, W.Va., Lavinia Mason of Sharpsburg, Thelma Stevens of Stanley, Va., and Linda Canfield of Keedysville; four brothers, Winfred Fraley of Boonsboro, Calvin Fraley of Hagerstown, Theodore Fraley of Florida and Robert Fraley of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin R. Fraley.
Graveside service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The Rev. Loyal H. Vanderveer will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg.

Brittany R. and Brandy R. Nalborczyk
MYERSVILLE, Md. - Brittany Rena and Brandy Rae Nalborczyk, infant daughters of Stefan Thomas Nalborczyk Jr. and Tammy Linette Kemble, of 10555 Highland School Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
They were born Oct. 6, 1999, in Hagerstown.
In addition to their parents, they are survived by a brother, Benjamin Edward Nalborczyk of New Market, Md.; maternal grandfather, Robert W. Kemble of Myersville; paternal grandparents, Stefan Thomas and Jane Estelle Nalborczyk Sr. of Middletown; four aunts; and three uncles.
They were preceded in death by their maternal grandmother, Arlene R. Kemble; and an aunt.
A service will be held Monday at noon at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. David L. Coblentz will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Methodist Church cemetery in Myersdale, Pa.
There will be no viewing.
Viola M. Fox
Viola Marie Fox, 94, of 11217 Tanglewood Court, Hagerstown, and formerly of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at Homewood Retirement Center in Williamsport.
Born July 1, 1905, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Orpha Dubel Snook.
Her husband, Harry Fox, died in 1976.
She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by one brother, Charles E. Snook of Hagerstown; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Decker.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Arvel J. Barrett will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m.
John R. Waltrick
John Robert "Budda" Waltrick, 66, of Hagerstown, and Salisbury, Md., died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Beulah Mae Cox Waltrick.
He was employed by Mack Trucks Inc., retiring in 1991.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean conflict.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Ann Hoffer Waltrick; two sons, Charles Brent Waltrick of Falling Waters, W.Va., and John Jay Waltrick of Hagerstown; an adopted son, Glenn Owen Ford of Hagerstown; three sisters, Violet Gibbons of Hagerstown, Margaret Jacobs of Waynesboro, Pa., and Nettie Lou Cribb of Jacksonville, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles N. Waltrick.
Services will be held at a later date.
