Mary R. Frazier
Mary Ruth Frazier, 74, of 729 Salem Ave., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at her home.
Born April 24, 1925, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond B. and Fannie Martha Miller Hopp.
She had been employed by Pres's Tavern; and Neighborhood Deli.
She is survived by her husband, Chester Frazier Jr.; a daughter, Mary Ann Rowland of Hagerstown; a son, Raymond Robinson of Washington State; two stepdaughters, Tammy Frazier and Lori Frazier, both of Hagerstown; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Colbert.
Service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Richard L. Wolfe
Richard Lee Wolfe, 74, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at Western Maryland Hospital Center in Hagerstown.
Born Feb. 4, 1925, in Moorefield, W.Va., he was the son of the late William Wright and Sarah Frances Ploger Wolfe.
He was employed by Fairchild Aircraft, retiring in 1987. He later was employed by the City of Hagerstown as a park guard. He was employed with Grease Monkey.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Evelyn G. Keckley Wolfe; four daughters, Linda Edwards of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Diana Flook and Shelia Kay Ruth, both of Hagerstown, and Sally Milton of Moultrie, Ga.; a brother, Arthur Wolfe of Romney, W.Va.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 10 sisters and two brothers.
Service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Revs. David L. Coblentz and Dennis L. Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mary E. Draper
Mary Etta Draper, 51, of 221 N. Locust St., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at her home.
Born July 18, 1948, in Frederick, Md., she was the daughter of Morgan R. Webber Sr. of Knoxville, Md., and the late Wilhemina Hawes Webber.
She was employed as a waitress.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
She was a member of Redman's Club in Hagerstown.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a daughter, Sherry Lee Ramsburg of Hagerstown; a son, Kevin Lee Draper of Hagerstown; four sisters, Cindy Pearl of Knoxville, Krista Fox of Middletown, Md., Carrie Ann Lincks of Brownsville, Md., and Sylvia Bealer of Gapland, Md.; six brothers, Kenneth Webber Sr. and Clarence Webber, both of Knoxville, Mark Webber of Brunswick, Md., Raymond Webber of Smyrna, Del., Michael Webber of Brownsville and Terry Webber of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Webber; and a brother, Morgan R. Webber Jr.
Services will be private.
Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown.

Ada V. Sprenkle
BALTIMORE - Ada Viola Frantz Sprenkle, 81, of 5528 Ashbourne Road, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Jan. 18, 1918, near Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late F. Bernard and Ada Miller Frantz.
She was a 1937 graduate of Waynesboro High School.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence C. Sprenkle, whom she married
June 17, 1939; a son, Robert L. Sprenkle of Baltimore; four sisters, Mabel Frantz and Miriam Frantz, both of Akron, Ohio, Martha Alexander of Georgia and Jean Kindle of Texas; two brothers, Frank Frantz of Lancaster, Pa., and Earl Frantz of Akron; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

John E. Keefer
HANCOCK - John Edward "John Ed" Keefer, 71, of Millstone Road, died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at his home.
Born Oct. 26, 1927, in Romney, W.Va., he was the son of the late John Howard and Geneva Dolita Newhouse Keefer.
His wife, Merle Lurena Younker Keefer, died in 1993. They were married
Aug. 3, 1958.
He retired from Suburban Bank in Hancock. He had worked for People's National Bank and A&P.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Hancock Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of Webster B. Harrison Post 26 American Legion, James W. Bowers Lodge 173 AF&AM, both in Hancock, Ali Ghan Shrine and Scottish Rite Consistory, Valley of Cumberland.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock. The Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas' Episcopal Cemetery, Hancock.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Edna B. Thompson
CUMBERLAND, Md. - Edna B. Thompson, 79, of Blackiston Avenue, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at Cumberland Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 20, 1920, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Erastus and Bertha Barnhart Faith.
Her first husband, Irvin R. Shives, died in 1962. Her second husband, James Thompson, died in 1995.
She was a homemaker; and had been a waitress with Sheehe's Restaurant in Cumberland.
She was a member of Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in Hancock.
She is survived by one daughter, Shirley A. Rice of Cumberland; one sister, Rita Unger of Hancock; one brother, Ralph Faith of California; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters; 10 brothers; and one grandson.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, Hancock. The Rev. K. Paul Bowers and Elder Timmy Strait will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St. in Hancock and Wednesday at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
