Wanda L. Norris
Wanda Lee Norris, 65, of 18331 College Road, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 12, 1933, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James and Golda Brown.
She was a seamstress for Alice's Country Cottage in Hagerstown.
She is survived by her husband, Fred G. Norris; a daughter, Shirley Hult of Hagerstown; a son, Kenneth Norris of Clear Spring; four sisters, Shirley Kline of Cavetown, Mabel Carper of Charles Town, Anna Unger of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Louise Cooper of Cleveland; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Brown.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

LeRoy Hendricks
LeRoy Hendricks, 82, of Ray Street, Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born June 28, 1917, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Peter and Sarah E. McBeth Hendricks.
He was employed by Victor Products, Fairchild, L'Aiglon Apparel, Locust Point Tavern, all in Hagerstown, and Mountain View Inn in Smithsburg.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah L. Sharer Hendricks; one daughter, Beverly McElroy of Hagerstown; one son, Daniel Linkins of Hagerstown; one sister, Alberta Hoover of Baltimore; one brother, Donald Hendricks of Hagerstown; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two nieces.
Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport. Pastor Kenny Harris will officiate.
Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg.
Margaret M. Wolfe
OLDTOWN, Md. - Margaret Mae Benson Wolfe, 77, of Oldtown, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Memorial Hospital Hospice Unit in Cumberland, Md.
Born Feb. 13, 1922, in Oldtown, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Minnie Peterman Benson.
Her husband, Floyd George Wolfe, died in 1995.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Oliver's Grove United Methodist Church in Oldtown, taught classes, was secretary and chairperson of the administrative board and a church school treasurer, superintendent and lay leader. She was president and secretary of United Methodist Women.
She studied child psychology under Dr. John Kirk of University of Maryland and was a qualified leader for parent-child study sessions in Allegany County.
She is survived by four daughters, Georgia M. Martin, Mary June Mieszkowski, Rosaliee A. Wolfe, all of Cumberland, and Sandi O'Connor of LaPlata, Md.; two sons, Sonny Wolfe of Ashburn, Va., and Eddie Wolfe of Hagerstown; two sisters, Flora Crafton of Crestwood, Ill., and Ellen Elfritz of Cumberland; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Belle Benson, Minnie Helen May Benson, Elizabeth Grabenstein; and six brothers, James Edward Benson, Wilbur Benson, Chester Benson, Harry Benson, George Benson and Joseph Benson.
Services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Oliver's Grove United Methodist Church, Oldtown. The Rev. Michael Henning will officiate. Burial will be in Oliver's Grove Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Adeline P. Kotch
MAITLAND, Fla. - Adeline P. Kotch, 79, of Falmonth Road, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, of cardiovascular accident.
She was born in Elkins, W.Va.
She was a secretary for Fairchild Aircraft.
She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, William Kotch; two daughters, Barbara O'Connell of St. Charles, Mo., and Peggy Stepler of Chambersburg, Pa.; one son, William Piercy of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Vera Cueto of Hagerstown, Josephine Kisner of Seattle, and Rose Stoffregen of San Diego; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Zella E. Grieco
WILLIAMSPORT - Zella Elizabeth Grieco, 80, of Williamsport Nursing Home, and formerly of East Washington Street, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 18, 1918, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Marguerite Weaver Allen.
She was employed by Dorlee's Dress Factory in Hagerstown.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Greenawalt of Greencastle, Pa.; and one brother, Robert Allen of Martinsburg, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Grove; and a brother, Hilton Allen.
Private services will be held at Rose Hill cemetery at the convenience of the family.

James R. Alexander
James R. Alexander, 52, of 17136 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 3, 1946, in Oakland, Md., he was the son of the late Benton W. and Nora A. Butler Alexander.
He worked for Kane Manufacturing and Turner Taxi, both of Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie J. Hensley Alexander; three daughters, Jamie R. Alexander and Tonya M. Alexander, both of Hagerstown and Jessica R. Alexander of Atlanta; a son, Johnnie Jordon of Hagerstown; two stepdaughters, Goldie Seaton of Hagerstown and Daisy Hensley at home; two sisters, Patricia Strawser and Opal A. Sirbaugh, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Benton E. Alexander of Annapolis and Ferris A. Alexander of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
