Reva L. McDonald
MARTINSBURG, Md. - Reva Lee McDonald, 84, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at Canterbury of Shepherdstown.
Born March 18, 1915, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Julia Masters McDonald.
She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Stella Hatison of Laytonsville, Md.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Georgie Keller; and three brothers, Robert McDonald, John L. McDonald and Arlington McDonald.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:30 to 2 p.m.
James R. Iden
HANCOCK - James R. Iden, 67, of Sensel Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at his home.
Born Aug. 14, 1932, in Buck Valley, Pa., he was the son of the late Ernest and Ethel Stotler Iden.
He was a retired maintenance employee for the Town of Hancock.
He was a Protestant.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Gantt Iden, whom he married
Aug. 15, 1954; four daughters, Linda Faith, Virginia Fowler and Mary Spriggs, all of Hancock, and Gloria Snider of Greencastle, Pa.; one son, Robert Iden of Greencastle; two sisters, Shirley Mills of Hancock and Patsy Morris of Town Hill, Pa.; three brothers, Melvin Iden of Needmore, Pa., Paul Iden and Junior Iden, both of Hancock; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Getson; four brothers, Harry Iden, Kenneth Iden, Fred Iden and Clyde Iden.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Damascus cemetery in Big Cove Tannery, Pa. The Rev. Bill L. Clark will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock. The funeral home will be open from noon.
Aaron E. Light Jr.
Aaron E. Light Jr., 57, of 11800 Green Hill Drive, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Feb. 16, 1942, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Aaron E. Light Sr. and Bessie L. Baker Ebersole, both of Hagerstown.
He was a 1960 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a 1967 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College.
He retired from Bronka Construction Co. in 1998 after 26 years.
He was a member of Washington Square United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Terri L. Light; one daughter, Leslie A. Light, at home; three sons, Brian D. Cline of Falls Church, Va., Aaron E. Light III of Jacksonville, Fla., and Brandon W. Light, at home; and two sisters, JoAnn L. Weaver and Pamalee W. Valentine, both of Hagerstown.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Hal P. Atkins will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery in Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gloria L. Mumma
SHARPSBURG - Gloria Lee Mumma, 71, of 17363 Shepherdstown Pike, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at her home.
Born March 9, 1928, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Arthur R. Glaser and Martha Mae Hough Glaser Johnsen.
She was a graduate of Carlisle (Pa.) High School and attended Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va., for two years.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Christ Reformed Church in Sharpsburg.
She was a member of Antietam Post 236 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the "Card Gang" of Southeastern Senior Center and a former member of Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wilmer M. Mumma; one daughter, Sue Ellen Clark of Weaverville, N.C.; and one son, Dwight David Mumma of Sharpsburg.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Mount View cemetery in Sharpsburg. The Revs. Richard G. Hembrock and Bonnard J. Morgan will officiate.
There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends at their home at 17363 Shepherdstown Pike in Sharpsburg Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 101 E. Baltimore St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.

F. Samuel Naylor
SMITHSBURG - F. Samuel Naylor, 72, of Raven Rock Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at his home.
Born Sept. 4, 1927, in Smithsburg, he was the son of the late Clyde S. and Mary Evelyn Hollingsworth Naylor.
He was a self-employed farmer. He also was employed by Mack Trucks Inc. in Hagerstown and Green Arbor Florist in Smithsburg.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Smithsburg.
He was a member of Smithsburg Volunteer Fire Co., Salem Lodge 196 A.F. & A.M., Eagles Club in Waynesboro, Pa., and Elks Lodge 378 in Hagerstown. He was a past member of Shrine Orinmetal Band f Ali Ghan Temple and South Mountain Republican Club.
He is survived by his wife, Edna M. Horst Naylor; four daughters, Sandra K. Hillebrand of Oconomowoc, Wis., Joyce L. Marks of Hagerstown, Jean L. Fiore of Waynesboro, and Susan F. Ford of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert H. Naylor; and one granddaughter.
A memorial services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 16 N. Main St., Smithsburg. The Rev. Mark Walters will officiate. Private graveside services will be in Smithsburg cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave., Smithsburg.
Christine E. McNair
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Christine E. McNair, 81, of Washington, and formerly of Kearneysville, W.Va., died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at Prince George's County Hospital in Cheverly, Md.
Born May 3, 1918, in Kearneysville, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Phobe Washington Powell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin R. McNair.
She was a domestic worker in Washington for many years before her retirement.
She attended Springfield Baptist Church and Jerusalem Baptist Church, both in Washington.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine S. Farmer of Washington; one sister, Marie Woodfork of Washington; one grandson, Anthony Farmer; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Powell and Harry Powell.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Baptist Church in Kearneysville. The Revs. Alex Lambert Jr. and Clyde M. Eggleton will officiate. Burial will be in Allen cemetery in Kearneysville.
Friends will be received Saturday at the church at 10 a.m.
