Margaret A. Stitely
FREDERICK, Md. - Margaret A. "Peg" Shank Heffner Stitely, 83, of 843 Dunbrooke Court, and formerly of Meadowbrook Drive, Waynesboro, Pa., died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, in Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born May 28, 1916, in Washington Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late A. Guy and Emma Grace Oberholzer Shank.
Her first husband, Wilbur F. Heffner, died in 1974.
She was a 1935 graduate of Washington Township High School.
She worked for the Stanley Co. in Chambersburg, Pa. She worked for 25 years at Wayne Tool Co. in Waynesboro as a machine operator and in the shipping department, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Waynesboro.
She was a member of B.P.O. Elks Ladies Auxiliary in Hagerstown; South Chapter 2977 AARP and National AARP; Pen Mar Dance Club, and Mary Crowell Dance Group of Hagerstown.
She is survived by her husband, A. Ray Stitely, whom she married
June 8, 1983; one daughter, Donna G. Reeser of Ijamsville, Md.; one stepson, David A. Stitely of Media, Pa.; two sisters, Rachel J. Shindledecker and Rosalie Wagaman, both of Waynesboro; two grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Lin M. Smalec will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Beverly A. Rinehart
Beverly Anna Rinehart, 51, of 20603 Wren Lane, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 18, 1948, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Albert Eugene and Mae Ellen Woodring Ridge of Hagerstown.
She was a 1966 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
She was an instructional aide with the ESOL Program for the Washington County Board of Education for the past five years.
She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church, and was active with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Franklin County.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Julianne B. Walker of Hagerstown and Abigail S. Rinehart, at home; two sons, Daniel J. Rinehart of Hagerstown, and Michael C. Rinehart, at home; three sisters, Kay Marsden of Spotsylvania, Va., Ruth Hook of Hagerstown and Laura Previte of Frederick, Md.; two brothers, Steven Ridge of New Castle, Pa., and Patrick Ridge of Hagerstown; one granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Dale R. Carver will officiate. Burial will be in Price's Church cemetery in Waynesboro, Pa.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 9 p.m., and at 1 p.m. Friday.

Florence D. Sandberg
WILLIAMSPORT - Florence Dawes Sandberg, 74, of 16505 Virginia Ave., C-284, and formerly of Charles Town, W.Va., died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Homewood Nursing Center in Williamsport.
Born March 24, 1925, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Esther M. Dawes.
Her husband, Swain Everette Sandberg, preceded her in death.
She was a Methodist.
She was a former Red Cross life-saving instructor and worked as a registered nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Swain Edward Sandberg of Gaithersburg, Md., and Leif Alan Sandberg of Dallas.
Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Edge Hill Cemetery, 612 Hunter St., Charles Town. The Rev. Dee-Ann Dixon will officiate.

Vera M. Baker
BOONSBORO - Vera May Baker, 92, of Boonsboro, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Feb. 12, 1907, in Locust Grove, she was the daughter of the late Elmer C. and Lenora M. Potter Snyder.
Her husband, Raymond Charles Baker, died in 1978.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Benevola United Methodist Church, a former organist and Sunday school teacher.
She is survived by one son, John N. Baker of Boonsboro; one sister, Nellie Kepler of Boonsboro; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harold L. Baker; and a sister, Mildred Shifler.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Benevola United Methodist Church. The Rev. Helen Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

George A. Wilson
BALTIMORE - George Albert Wilson, 72, of 1809 Clearwood Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Md.
Born Feb. 11, 1927, in Middletown, Md., he was the son of the late George B.M. and Dorothy Snurr Wilson.
He was employed as an engineering specialist with Allied Signal in Baltimore until his retirement.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Parkville, Md.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Tracey Wilson; three sons, Richard A. Wilson of Columbia, Md., David E. Wilson of Reisterstown, Md., and Robert T. Wilson of Baltimore; five sisters, Jacqueline Wilson, Maureen Wilson, Patricia Wilson, Betty Wilson and Ruth Wilson, all of Smithsburg; four brothers, Robert Wilson of Overland Park, Kan., Frank Wilson of Frederick, Md., Gene Wilson of Hagerstown and Patrick Wilson of New Cumberland, W.Va.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. The Rev. William M. Bucher will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.

Mary A. Summers
Mary Alice Summers, 91, of 750 Dual Highway, and formerly of Boonsboro, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, at Colton Villa Nursing Center in Hagerstown.
Born July 19, 1908, in Lancaster, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Milton and Amanda Miller Feister.
Her husband, James Leonard Summers, died in 1986.
She had been employed by companies in the Hagerstown area.
She was a member of Boonsboro Church of God.
She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly A. Lockard of Hagerstown; one son, David K. Summers of Pennsylvania; one foster daughter, Mary Ellen Kobierowski of Hagerstown; one foster son, Ernest Everett of New Jersey; one sister, Grace Smith of Lancaster, Pa.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gertie Feister; and three brothers, Jim Feister, Fred Feister and George Feister.
Graveside services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Boonsboro Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Fraley will officiate.
