Steven L. Stine
KEEDYSVILLE - Steven Lee "Tuck" Stine, 49, of Keedysville, died Friday, Aug. 20, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born April 15, 1950, in Troy, Ohio, he was the son of Charles Sr., and Barbara Stine Hampton of Ohio.
He was employed as a truck driver for over 20 years.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sheila May Whetzel Stine, one daughter, Barbara J. Stine at home; two step-daughters, Lisa M. Brown of Boonsboro and Julie N. Miller of Sharpsburg; one stepson, Mark A. Whetzel of Boonsboro; three stepsisters, Charlene Barker, Robyn Hunter and Kathy Baker, all of Ohio; one stepbrother, Charles Hampton, Jr., of Ohio; maternal grandmother, Verna Brubaker of Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery, San Mar. The Rev. James J. Caldwell will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.

Lester G. Kendle
Lester George Kendle, 81, of 18010 Putter Drive, Hagerstown, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999, at Homewood Retirement Center, Williamsport.
Born Nov. 23, 1917, in Washington County, Md., he was the son of the late William H. and Catherine Kendle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor M. Myers Kendle, who died in Aug. 2, 1999.
He was retired from Sears, Roebuck and Company after 34 years of service.
He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and was past president of the Sunday School bowling league.
He was a member of the Alsatia Club. He was a former umpire for the Little League and refereed basketball and football.
He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Raines of Martinsburg, W.Va.; one son, William L. Kendle of Inwood, W.Va.; three grandchildren, three step-granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Ferguson, Agnes Ditto and Genevieve Kendall.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.

Janet I. Felch
WILLIAMSPORT - Janet Iva Anderson Felch, 78, of 16505 Virginia Ave., Apartment C-52, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 13, 1921, in Washburn, Wis., she was the daughter of the late J. Walter and Theodora Axelberg Anderson.
She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert W. Felch; a daughter, Ruth Ann Yohe of Shiremanstown, Pa.; two sons, Dr. James W. Felch of Nashville, Tenn., and D. Gregory Felch of Carlisle, Mass.; two sisters, Betty Lou Rupple of Milwaukee and Ruth Jensen of Tallahassee, Fla.; and six grandsons.
A memorial service will be held today at 3 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. George Evans will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A reception will follow for friends and relatives at the church.
There will be no viewing.

Eleanor C. Dolly
GRANTSVILLE, Md. - Eleanor Catherine Dolly, 84, of Goodwill Mennonite Nursing Home, and formerly of Mexico Farms, Cumberland, Md., died Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born March 14, 1915, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Edith Link Myers.
Her husband, Woodrow Dolly, preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Cumberland, and the Excelsior Sunday School Class.
She also was a member of Maryland Mountain Doll Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Jean Wojcik of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Dr. James H. Dolly of Cumberland; three sisters, Dorothy Eye and Frances Myers, both of Shepherdstown, W.Va., and Virginia Bush of Hagerstown; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dolly.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 130 Virginia Ave., Cumberland. The Rev. Richard H. Jewel will officiate. Burial will be in Davis Memorial Cemetery, Cumberland.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Edith I. Grey
FAIRPLAY - Edith Irene Grey, 77, of 8168 Sharpsburg Pike, died Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999, at her home.
Born Aug. 8, 1922, in Tilghmanton, Md., she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Mary S. Mongan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Allen "Snook" Grey, in 1998.
She was employed as a cook by Classic Food of Hagerstown until retiring. She previously was employed by Fairchild Aircraft of Hagerstown in the cafeteria.
She was a member of Manor Church of the Brethren, Boonsboro.
She was a member of Olive Branch Chapter No. 34 Order of the Eastern Star, Keedysville.
She is survived by a sister, Nancy L. Youngblood of Fairplay; four nieces; and a nephew.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Smith, and a brother, Jerry Mongan.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Manor Church of the Brethren, Boonsboro. The Rev. Loyal H. Vanderveer will officiate. Burial will be in Manor Cemetery, Boonsboro.
Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The funeral home will be open today after 11 a.m.

Roger A. Keesecker
THONOTOSASSA, Fla. - Roger Anthony Keesecker, 40, of Thonotosassa, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, in Tampa, Fla.
Born Oct. 6, 1958, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of Roger Lee and Freda Foltz Keesecker of Martinsburg, W.Va.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Amanda Dawn Keesecker of Stephens City, Va., and Jessica Paige Keesecker of Riverview, Fla.; two sisters, Lisa Duvall of Inwood, W.Va., and Mechelle Mason of Martinsburg; and a brother, Galyen Wayne Keesecker of Martinsburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elwood and Lena Riggs Foltz and Clifford and Delsie Basore Keesecker.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. William E. Merki will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
