Millard F. Kershner II
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - Millard F. "M.F." Kershner II, 88, of East Lake Drive, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999.
He was born in Hagerstown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Feigley Kershner.
He owned and operated M.F. Kershner Cities Service.
He was a member of Church of the Brethren.
He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 378 in Hagerstown.
He is survived by three sons, Millard F. Kershner III of Longwood, Fla., R. Bruce Kershner of Lake Mary, Fla., and Robert L. Kershner of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Dorothy Wolf of Tavares, Fla., Jean Carbaugh of Eustis, Fla., and Fern Zito of Altamonte Springs; and five grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at noon at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Altamonte Springs. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, Fla.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Harriet W. Hreha
MONTICELLO, Ill. - Harriet Winfield Hreha, 80, of Monticello, died Thursday, June 24, 1999, at Kirby Hospital in Monticello.
Born Dec. 22, 1918, in Rohrersville, she was the daughter of Floyd Lester and Mary Hott Winfield.
She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School; and attended Strayer College in Washington, D.C.
She worked as a secretary at the federal Food and Drug Administration for 31 years.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Hreha, whom she married
May 13, 1950; a daughter, Karen Hreha Molloy of Monticello; a son, Mark Andrew Hreha of Alton, Ill.; two sisters, Irma Hott Winfield of Silver Spring, Md., and Esther Winfield Gantz of Hagerstown; and a granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Graveside services were held in Monticello Cemetery. The Rev. Allan Oman officiated.
Visitation was at Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello.

Charles E. Pierce
HANCOCK - Charles Edward Pierce, 65, of Bain Road, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born Feb. 1, 1934, in Pecktonville, Md., he was the son of the late Ada and Helen Betts Pierce.
He retired from Newells Enterprises in Hagerstown.
He attended Parkhead United Methodist Church in Pecktonville.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Gearhart Pierce of Hancock; a daughter, Kayla Pierce of Hancock; two sons, Terry Pierce of Pecktonville and Steve Pierce of Williamsport; six sisters, Delores Gladhill and Dakota Murray, both of Clear Spring, Sonja Timmons of Hagerstown, Frieda Golden of Waynesboro, Pa., JoAnn Betts of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Sandra McFadden of Hancock; three brothers, Daryl Betts of Clear Spring, Ricky Betts of Sharpsburg and Bobby Betts of Boonsboro; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock. The Rev. Rodney Truax will officiate. Burial will be in Parkhead Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

George L. Siebert
George Lee Siebert, 58, of Ivy Way in Hagerstown, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 25, 1941, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of Treva Z. Eckert Siebert Martz of Humelstown, Pa., and the late Arthur L. Siebert.
He was a 1959 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He was a graduate of Hagerstown Junior College, the University of Maryland and the FBI Academy.
He worked as director of security for the Hagerstown Housing Authority. He retired as captain of the Hagerstown City Police Department.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
He was a member of North American Rod and Gun Club; Western Maryland Sportsman Association; Colts Corral; Fraternal Order of Police; Thomas Pangborn Lodge No. 88; Clear Spring American Legion Joseph C. Herbert Post No. 222.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Faye Marie Siebert; a daughter, Robin R. Vogel of Hagerstown; a son, David L. Siebert of Hagerstown; a stepbrother, Gary Martz of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 601 Washington Ave., Hagerstown. The Revs. David B. Kaplan and Stephen D. Robison will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.

Agnes L. Oland
FREDERICK, Md. - Agnes Lee Oland, 81, of 8901 Baltimore Road, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 12, 1917, in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late Richard M. and Nora Mae Spurrier Creager.
Her husband, Sharetts E.D. Oland, preceded her in death.
She worked as a sales clerk at Wells Mere Shop and Routzahn's, both in Frederick.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Frederick, and the Golden Ray Sunday School Class.
She is survived by two daughters, Catherine M. Oland of Frederick and Loretta Jane Drawbaugh of Hagerstown; two sisters, Catherine M. Creager of Frederick and Mary E. Summers of Jefferson, Md.; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Burton M. Creager.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The Rev. Frederick A. Wenner will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet cemetery in Frederick.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Daniel R. Miller
JOHNSVILLE, Md. - Daniel Robert "Bob" Miller, 75, of 10610 Renner Road, died Monday, July 12, 1999, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born May 27, 1924, in Scottdale, Pa., he was the son of the late Walter Joseph and Zana Fretts Miller.
He attended Eastern High School in Washington, D.C.
In the early 1950s, he established and operated D&M Metal Specialties Inc. in Bladensburg, Md., and provided heating and air conditioning to office and retail buildings, area malls, and initial underground metro lines.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a former chairman of the apprenticeship committee for Sheet Metal Local 102 and a member of the Contractors Association. He was a member of Curly Custer's Grand Squares in Waynesboro, Pa.; and Westernaires in Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Virginia Long Miller; two daughters, Sandra C. Elswick of Woodsboro, Md., and Karen L. Sindt of Fulton, Md.; two granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Dick.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Road, Libertytown, Md. Burial will be in Rocky Hill cemetery near Woodsboro.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
