Carroll Kuhn
EXETER, Mass. - Carroll Kuhn, 59, of 4 Nelson Drive, died Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Mass.
Born Feb. 23, 1940, near Boonsboro, he was the son of the late Silas and Beulah Hoffmaster Kuhn.
He was an estimator for Royal Design Builders.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Makara Kuhn; one daughter, Sandra A. Kuhn of Concord, Mass.; one sister, Silva Small of Glen Mills, Pa.; and nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, June 23, in Exeter. Burial was in Exeter Cemetery.
Mary N. Buckley
WILLIAMSPORT - Mary Nell Buckley, 61, of 10530 Peachtree Lane, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at her home.
Born in Williamsport, Jan. 13, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Charles Nelson and Edith Leah Bowser Harsh.
She was a 1954 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Hagerstown, and received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Catholic University in Washington, D.C., in 1958.
She was a registered nurse and homemaker.
She was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church in Williamsport, where she was past organist and past treasurer of Williamsport Food Bank, a part of Williamsport Minsterium.
She also was a member of Habitat for Humanity of Washington County.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald J. Buckley; one daughter, Jean Snyder of Centreville, Va.; five sons, Patrick Buckley of Chantilly, Va., Thomas Buckley of Centreville, Michael Buckley of Fairfax, Va., Daniel Buckley of Germantown, Md., and James Buckley of Manassas, Va.; one brother, Michael Harsh of Williamsport; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, the Rev. Charles Harsh.
Graveside services will be held today at 9 a.m. at Riverview cemetery in Williamsport. The Rev. Alfred E. Smith will officiate.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church in Williamsport, with the Rev. Alfred E. Smith as celebrant.
There will be no viewing.

Thelma V. Itnyre
BOONSBORO - Thelma Virginia Itnyre, 84, of 7603 Mapleville Road, died Thursday, July 1, 1999, at her home.
Born July 5, 1914, near Boonsboro, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Luther and Anna Virginia Weddle Itnyre.
She was a retired employee of Fahrney-Keedy Home near Boonsboro.
She was baptized in the United Brethren faith.
She was a member of AARP.
She is survived by close friends, Charles and Alethea Wyand of Boonsboro; and several cousins.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Joseph Downs will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday one hour prior to services.
Charles D. Gross
FULTON, Texas. - Charles Douglas Gross, 55, of Fulton, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Saturday, April 3, 1999, at his home.
Born April 26, 1943, in Myersville, Md., he was the son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Gross.
He was a graduate of Frederick High School and attended a culinary arts school in Washington, D.C.
He owned and operated a limousine service.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church cemetery in Myersville.
Ruth C. Price
Ruth Clara Price, 90, formerly of 901 Frederick St., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village, where she resided.
Born July 29, 1908, in Foxville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Viola Wolf Smith.
Her husband, Owen C. Price, died in 1996.
She was owner of East End Tavern.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Smithsburg.
She was a former member of Ladies of the Elks Lodge 378.
She is survived by one niece, Violet Trumpower of Florida.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Miller; two sisters, Helen Gardner and Leah Hammaker; and one brother, Glenn Smith.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate. Burial will be in Smithsburg cemetery in Smithsburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Marian V. Helmer
Marian Victoria Helmer, 81, of 12 S. Walnut St., Hagerstown, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 6, 1917, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Nina Shipp.
Her husband, John W. Helmer Sr., died in 1994.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She also was a member of AARP.
She is survived by one son, Bill Helmer Jr. of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, Mary Ellen Fowler of West Virginia; and two grandsons, Bill Helmer III and Adam Patrick Helmer, both of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by one son, Charles Michael Helmer.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.

Morris Leach
HANCOCK - Morris "Tom" Leach, 51, of East Main Street, died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at his home.
Born Feb. 8, 1948, in Winchester, Va., he was the son of the late Lorraine Leach Gallion, and the stepson of Lewis Gallion of Hancock.
He was a 1966 graduate of Hancock High School.
He worked for Abex for 28 years.
He served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve from 1968 to 1970.
He was a member of Hancock Church of God.
He was a member of UAW Local 149, Winchester, Va.; and RJ & D Hunt Club, Hancock.
In addition to his stepfather, he is survived by his wife, Wilma L. Harvey Leach of Hancock, whom he married
Jan. 13, 1968; a daughter, Melissa Leach of Hancock; two sons, Thomas Leach and Ronald Leach of Hancock; a brother, David Leach of Paris, Texas; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Gallion Anderson.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Hancock United Methodist Church, 168 W. Main St., Hancock. The Rev. Eugene Harne will officiate. Burial will be in Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Route 655 one mile north of Hancock, where a military graveside service will be conducted by Tri-State Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock; and Saturday one hour before the services at the church. For the convenience of friends, the funeral home will be open today from noon to 9 p.m.
