Barbara L. Campbell
Barbara L. Campbell, 74, of 528 W. Franklin St., Hagerstown, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Colton Villa Nursing Center.
Born May 20, 1925, in Milford, Del., she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Myrtle Marvel Lanamore.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Campbell; two daughters, Jean C. Dunn of Hagerstown, with whom she lived for 12 years prior to entering Colton Villa; and Donna C. Dumire of Williamsport; one sister, Phyllis Cullen of Dover, Del.; four grandsons, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph A. Lanamore, Jr.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery. Harold Bible will interpret for the deaf.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.

Claude B. Byers
Claude B. Byers, 82, of 531 West Howard Street, Hagerstown, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1916, in Shepherdstown, W.Va., he was the son of the late Joseph and Blanche Byers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Byers, who died in 1997.
He was retired from Railway Express, Hagerstown.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Potomac Fish and Game Club, Alsatia Club and B.P.O. Elks Lodge 378.
He is survived by one son, Lynn Byers of Williamsport; two sisters, Ruth Busch of Hagerstown and Josephine Clopper of Winston-Salem, N.C.; twin brother, William Byers of Hagerstown; one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Dennis L. Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Gloria J. Martin
Gloria Jean Martin, 55, of 104 East First Street, Hagerstown, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at her mother's home at 19826 Bennie Drive, Hagerstown.
Born March 30, 1944, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Willis S. Martin, Sr. and Esther K. Diehl of Hagerstown.
She was a 1962 graduate of Hagerstown High School She was also a graduate of Hagerstown Junior College in electrical engineering.
She was retired from Potomac Edison Company.
She was a member of Evangelistic Temple.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother, Jack W. Martin of Hagerstown; two half-sisters, Hildred Harris and Patty Long, both of Hagerstown; two half-brothers, Willis S. Martin, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C. and Larry W. Martin of Maine; one niece and two nephews.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Tom Stottlemyer will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 at the funeral home.
Cristina L. Miller
Cristina Leigh Miller, 26, of 18445 Woodside Drive, Hagerstown, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born Dec. 21, 1972, in Takoma Park, Md., she was the daughter of Walter and Linda Leigh Schmidt Valenca of Sharpsburg.
She was a graduate of Highland View Academy and Hagerstown Community College.
She was a member of Willowbrook Seventh-day Adventist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Marlon P. Miller; two sons, Preston L. Miller and W. Paul Miller, both at home; one brother, David Anthony Valenca of Martinsburg, W.Va.; paternal grandmother, Cleodice Valenca of Reston, Va.; maternal grandmother, Gloria Schmidt of Damascus, Md. and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond Woolsey, the Rev. William McCall and the Rev. Orval Driskell will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Frieda M. Curry
Frieda Marie Curry, 64, of 630 Linganore Ave., Hagerstown, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 3, 1934, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Hillary and Thelma Spriggs Seaton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eugene Curry.
She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn Johnson of Hagerstown; a son, Bobby Eugene Curry of Hagerstown; two sisters, Bonnie Pepple of Smithsburg and Ida Mae Johnson of Chewsville; a brother, George Seaton of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Curry; and a brother, Donald Curry.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. The Rev. James Davies will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.

Dora H. Henry
WILLIAMSPORT - Dora Helen Henry, 89, of Williamsport and formerly of Hancock, died Friday, June 11, 1999, at Homewood in Williamsport.
Born April 26, 1910, in Mount Morris, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Casby Lewis and May Fox Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of four years, Homer E. Tabler Jr., in 1951; and by her second husband of 35 years, Charles E. Henry Jr., in 1996.
She was employed for 15 years by the U.S. Treasury Department as a bank examiner in Washington, D.C.; and later by several Washington County banks.
She and her late husband, Charles E. Henry Jr., owned and operated Henry's Antiques in Hancock for 35 years.
She was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Hancock.
She is survived by a daughter, Laura Mae Tabler Maloy of Williamsport; a brother, Issac Johnson of Mount Morris; and a grandson, Ryan Edward Maloy of Williamsport.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Addie Dulaney and Lillian Fox; and two brothers, Paul Johnson and Billy Johnson.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, 2 E. High St., Hancock. The Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt Jr. and Lay Associate Steven L. McCarty will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
