Charles W. Breeden
Charles Wayne Breeden, 69, of 904 Queen Anne's Court, Hagerstown, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 27, 1929, in Luray, Va., he was the son of the late Marvin Wayne and Bessie Ann Berry Breeden.
He was owner and operator of Hub City Drywall.
He was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Bedington, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Virginia Breeden; four sons, Douglas Wayne Breeden of Long Beach, Calif., Gary Lee Breeden of Bedington, Charles Junior Breeden of Falling Waters, W.Va. and Randy Alan Breeden of Halfway; two sisters, Helen Smith of Hagerstown and Norma Jene Kershrer of Smithsburg; a brother, Edward Breeden of Funkstown; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Marie Near.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Everett Powell will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charles R. Higgins Jr.
LIBERTYTOWN, Md. - Charles Russell Higgins Jr., 45, of 9306 Oak Spring Court, near Libertytown, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born Aug. 10, 1953, in Williamsport, he was the son of Rita D. West Higgins of Big Pool and the late Charles R. Higgins Sr.
He was employed as a project manager with GS Communications, Gettysburg, Pa. for 11 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of four years, Tammy M. Higgins; two sisters, Carolyn Shoemaker of Greencastle and Patricia Stum of Martinsburg, W.Va.; five brothers, John F. Higgins of Maugansville, Dennis J. Higgins of Hancock, Jeffrey A. Higgins of State Line, Pa., Calvin W. Higgins of Funkstown and Terry West of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family; however, the family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Road, Libertytown.

Marsha A. Brown
Marsha A. Brown, 39, of 11312 Grouse Lane North, Hagerstown, died Friday, May 28, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born March 3, 1960, in Gary, Ind., she was the daughter of Willie M. and Anna M. Craig Brown of Gary.
She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Gary; and Purdue University. She received her master's degree at Georgia Technical Institute.
She was a buyer for Corning Consumer Products Company in Greencastle, Pa.
She was a member of Zion Baptist Church of Hagerstown, where she served as minister of music.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Linda Hardiman of San Antonio, Sandra Gilliard of Flint, Mich. and Jean Love of Dallas; and a brother, Lamont Brown of Flint.
Services will be Tuesday at noon at Zion Baptist Church, corner of Jonathan and Bethel streets. Pastor Haru Carter Jr. and the Rev. Andre' Blythe will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Gary.
Visitation will be one hour before the services at the church.

Margaret A. Leuschner
TIMONIUM, Md. - Margaret A. Leather Leuschner, 94, of Timonium, died Saturday, May 29, 1999.
Born June 3, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Keller and Gertrude Leather.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Leuschner.
She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 100 in Parkville, Md.
She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Hilkert of Saegertown, Pa. and Margaret Sewell of Salisbury, Md.; two sisters, Ruth Kroner of Ellicott City, Md. and Dora Smith of Hagerstown; a brother, Howard Leather of Smithsburg; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 100 E. Timonium Road, Timonium. The Rev. Douglas Strachan, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Parkwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. before the services at the church.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Stella Maris Hospice Home Care, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium, MD 21093; or Shriners' Hospitals for Crippled Children.
John W. Seabolt
ST. CHARLES, Mo. - John W. Seabolt, 54, of St. Charles, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at his home after a long illness.
Born Nov. 3, 1944, in Dallas, he was the son of Virginia Seabolt of St. Charles and the late Buford H. Seabolt Sr.
He attended Fairmount Grade School and was a 1962 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
He was in management with a plastic container manufacturer in St. Louis.
He served in Vietnam as a paratrooper with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Unit.
He was a member of the GTO Association of America and the Gateway GTO Association.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Seabolt; a daughter, Teresa Lamotte of Lexington, S.C.; a son, Garrett Seabolt of St. Charles; and a brother, Buford Seabolt Jr. of St. Charles.
Services were held Monday, May 10. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Charles.

Geraldine M. Hull
Geraldine M. Hull, 78, of 145 King St., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, May 26, at Washington County Hospital.
Born April 10, 1921, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Richard Guy Hull and Violet Catherine Randall Hull Wynkoop.
She was employed by Pangborn Corp., retiring in 1983.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Vota Vita Sunday School Class and the Pangborn Quarter Century Club.
She is survived by three sisters, Catherine J. Brown of Indian Shores, Fla., Delores L. Smith of Boonsboro and Margaret J. Griffith of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; a brother, Mahlon A. Wynkoop of Cavetown; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James W. Wynkoop.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 4, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. Eddie Blackmon will officiate. A private committal service will be held in Rest Haven Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
The family will receive friends at the church after the memorial service.

Richard A. Ferris
FREDERICK, Md. - Richard Ambrose "Dick" Ferris, 77, of Dover Court, and formerly of Rockville, Md., died Thursday, May 27, 1999, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born May 25, 1922, in Syracuse, N.Y., he was the son of the late William and Charlotte Pepper Ferris.
He was a retired builder.
He was a member and past president of Optimist Club.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lois Ferris; four children, Charles William Ferris of Oklahoma, Robert Brown of Sharpsburg, Judy Marple of Frederick and Jeffrey Edward Ferris of Wolfsville, Md.; two sisters, Margie Cahill of Flint Ridge, Calif., and Augusta Sweet of Olney, Md.; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ferris, and a brother, Robert Ferris.
A Catholic prayer service will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The Rev. Kevin Farmer will be celebrant. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
