Henry J. Moser
Henry Jacob Moser, 81, of 9320 Garis Shop Road, died Monday, May 24, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 24, 1917, in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late Clarence Ira and Mary Ellen Green Moser.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Mae Thomas Moser, in 1996.
He retired in 1981 as a dairy farmer in the Hagerstown area.
He was a member of Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren, where he was a deacon, trustee, treasurer and former choir member.
He was a member of the board of the former Chewsville Co-op, Washington County Farm Bureau and Maryland-Virginia Milk Producers.
He is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Robinson of Hagerstown; one son, E. Lee Moser of Ellicott City, Md.; three sisters, Emma Cornell of Martinsburg, W.Va., Lenora McClanathan and Anna Bywaters, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Charles E. Moser of Hagerstown and Claude W. Moser of Williamsport; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren. The Revs. Rachel Black and David Eberly will officiate. Burial will be Beaver Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Friends also may call at the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Blanche C. Schwinger
Blanche C. Schwinger, 94, of 318 N. Mulberry St., Hagerstown, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Coffman Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 29, 1904, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Bessie Elizabeth Martin Schwinger.
She was employed by Antietam Paper Co. for more than 40 years.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and taught the Philathean Sunday School Class.
She was secretary of Queen Esther Chapter 3 Order of the Eastern Star for more than 40 years, past grand Esther, grand Martha and deputy grand lecturer of the General Grand Chapter of Maryland Order of the Eastern Star.
She was a member of St. John's Sunday School Bowling League and Eastern Star Bowling League.
She is survived by one niece, Winifred C. Harvie of Greencastle, Pa.; and two great-nephews, Christopher R. Harvie of East Strausburg, Pa., and Donovan C. Harvie of Greencastle.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Adah E. Barnhart; and a brother, Raymond E. Schwinger.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 141 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Edward H. Heim will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Queen Esther Chapter 3 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m.
Mary M. Brown
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Mary M. Brown, 85, of 319 A Street, Brunswick, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at Reeder's Memorial Home, Boonsboro.
Born Sept. 5, 1913, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Mary Hawbaker Shank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert K. Brown, who died in 1971.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Brunswick.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Fisher of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Patsy Hardy of Leesburg, Va.; two brothers, Delmar Brown of Brunswick and Vernon Brown of Martinsburg; three sisters, Cathryn Middlekaff of Hagerstown, Edna Nichols of Williamsport and Ruth Meyers of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Morris V. Shank of Hagerstown; eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick, Md. The Rev. Daniel T. Spiker will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. For the convenience of friends the funeral home will be open today from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Weller M. Grimm
DARGAN - Weller McClellan Grimm, 83, of Dargan died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at his home.
Born Oct. 29, 1915, in Martinsburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Clyde McClellan and Lottie Ingram Grimm.
He was retired from C&O Canal National Historical Park, having worked in the maintenance department.
He was a member of Samples Manor Church of God, Samples Manor, Md.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Grimm; one daughter, Bonnie Jackson of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two sons, Bobby Grimm of Hagerstown and Dallas Grimm of North Carolina; one sister, Glenda Shewbridge of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; one brother, Lloyd D. Grimm of Dargan; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Leona Grimm, one son, Lonnie Grimm, one sister, Vernice Grimm and two brothers, Orville Grimm and Edgar Grimm.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer Funeral Home, 970 Washington St., Harpers Ferry. The Rev. Chester E. Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Samples Manor Cemetery, Samples Manor.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mary M. Huntzberry
Mary M. Huntzberry, 79, of Hagerstown, died Friday, May 21, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 25, 1919, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Erma V. Fox Straub.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur E. Huntzberry, Sr., who died in 1968.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy L. Shives of San Mar, Md.; two sons, Wilbur E. Huntzberry, Jr. of Hagerstown, George E. Huntzberry of Edgewood, Md; two sisters, Icie M. Linder and Helen Spangler, both of Hagerstown; one brother, Daniel Straub of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, five grandsons and five great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ethel V. Straub and three brothers, Harry Straub, Paul Straub and Charles Straub.
Graveside services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, The Rev. Fred M. Harris will officiate.
Arrangements are by Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown.
Mamie B. Cornell
Mamie B. Bussard McIntyre Cornell, 88, formerly of Hagerstown, died Friday, May 21, 1999, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa.
Born Sept. 17, 1910, in Roanoke, Va., she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Lucy Alger McIntyre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Cornell, who died in 1990.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Lazzaro of Spring Hill, Fla., and Beatrice Winkler of Melbourne, Fla.; one son, Donald Bussard of Rome, Fla.; one brother, Joseph R. McIntyre Sr. of Foxville, Md.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Minnie Spitone, and Marie Simmons and two brothers, John McIntyre, and Jim McIntyre.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg. The Rev. William C. Kercheval will officiate. Burial will be Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Foxville.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
