Marie A. Pleasant
Marie Anntonette Pleasant, 45, of 1327 Jay Drive, Hagerstown, died Sunday, April 25, 1999 at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 13, 1953, in South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Inez Flick.
She was employed at Western Maryland Hospital Center.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Pleasant of Hagerstown; one daughter, Stephanie M. Dobbins of Hagerstown; one son, Shawn M. Dobbins of Hagerstown; three sisters, Debbie Temples of Greenwood, S.C., Joyce Mellott of Conway, N.C., and Jean Stone of Silver Spring, Md.; one brother, R. Flick of Ridgley, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Daris Ford will officiate.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lawrence S. Kline
Lawrence Sherman Kline, 77, of 301 Garlinger Ave., Hagerstown, died Saturday, April 24, 1999, at his home.
Born March 28, 1922, in Middletown, Md., he was the son of the late Sherman A. and Florence E. Blickenstaff Kline.
He retired in 1984 from Fairchild Aircraft after 42 years of service.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Wolfsville.
He was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.
He is survived by his wife, Margaretta "Margie" A. Huyett Kline; a daughter, Connie Crunkleton of Hagerstown; two sisters, Helen McLucas and Lorraine Barkdoll, both of Wolfsville; two brothers, Gaither Kline of Chandler, Ariz., and the Rev. Marvin Kline of Dundalk, Md.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, 12477 Wolfsville Road, Wolfsville. The Rev. Randy Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Wolfsville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by Morris Frock American Legion Post 42.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown; and Tuesday one hour before the services at the church.
The family requests the omission of flowers.

Oneida S. Haupt
Oneida Susan Haupt, 85, of 9833 Meadow Rock Drive, Hagerstown, died Friday, April 23, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born April 9, 1914, in Park Hall, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Fannie Poffenberger Reeder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira W. Haupt, in 1991.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Rohrersville.
She is survived by three daughters, Esther L. O'Neal of Rohrersville, and Shirley V. Haupt and Juanita K. Haupt, both of Hagerstown; three sons, Donald L. Haupt of Falling Waters, W.Va., R. Wayne Haupt Sr. of Sharpsburg and Ira W. Haupt Jr. of Rohrersville; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary N. Smith; and two brothers, Charles W. Reeder and Ray E. Reeder.
Services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Carolyn Boyce will officiate. Burial will be in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary R. Culler
FREDERICK, Md. - Mary Ruth Culler, 81, of 116 Fairview Ave., died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at Vindobona Nursing Center, Braddock Heights, Md.
Born Feb. 13, 1918, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Arnold V. and Mary R. Fisher Harner.
Her husband, Dr. John McCleary Culler Jr., died Jan. 22.
She attended Visitation Academy of Frederick; graduated from Saint Hilda Hall School in Charles Town, W.Va., and Hannah More Academy for Girls in Baltimore; and attended Maryland Institute of Art.
She was employed by Church Home and Hospital in Baltimore, Frederick Memorial Hospital and in private practice with her husband as a medical records secretary.
She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Frederick.
She also was a member of Frederick Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Frederick County Historical Society, Frederick Garden Club, and several local bridge clubs.
She voluntered with Frederick County Chapter of American Red Cross.
She is survived by one daughter, Trish Culler-Surber of Frederick; one son, John M. Culler III of Lewis Center, Ohio; one half-brother, Jack Harner of California; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. The Rev. Joseph R. Foster and the Rev. Roger E. Rollins will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Rebecca Reynolds
DARGAN - Rebecca "Becky" Reynolds, 64, of Dargan, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at her home.
Born Dec. 21, 1934, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Arnold and Margaret Mary Giffin Ingram.
Her husband, James W. Reynolds, died in 1992.
She was a retired custodian with the Department of Energy in Germantown, Md.
She was a member of Samples Manor Church of God in Samples Manor, and attended Jesus - The Open Door Church in Charles Town, W.Va.
She is survived by four daughters, Gloria Reynolds of Sandy Hook, Mary Garrott of Millville, W.Va., Juanita Pearl of Falling Waters, W.Va., Melvary Breeden of Martinsburg, W.Va.; three sons, James Reynolds of Martinsburg, Michael Reynolds of Dargan and Larry Reynolds of Nova, Pa.; one sister, Shirley Ashbaugh of Sandy Hook; one brother, Granvil Ingram of Dargan; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita McGowan and Jeanette Tucker; three brothers, Irvin Ingram, James Ingram and David Ingram; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Samples Manor Church of God in Samples Manor. The Rev. Chester Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Samples Manor Cemetery.

William E. McKinley
William Edward McKinley, 74, of 1610 Langley Drive, Hagerstown, died Friday, April 23, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Sept. 18, 1924, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Mary Catherine Nalley Nave.
He retired from General Motors in Martinsburg, W.Va., and was previously employed by Mack Trucks and Cushwa Brick.
A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Army in Europe and North Africa.
He was a member of Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church.
He also was a member of Isaak Walton Club, Western Maryland Sportmen's Club and Buck Valley Hunt Club.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha Melcora Delawter McKinley; two daughters, Judith Ann Downs of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Kathy Lynn Griffith of Wayne, N.J.; two sons, William B. McKinley of Williamsport, and Donald Lee McKinley of Clinton, Iowa; one sister, Delores Hayes of Smithsburg; one brother, Lester A. Nave of Williamsport; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church, First and Spruce streets, Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert L. Dell will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
