Floyd D. Holland
WILLIAMSPORT - Floyd D. Holland, 77, of Honeyfield Road, died Monday, April 12, 1999, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born Feb. 7, 1922, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Daniel Lee and Mary Henrietta Holtzman Holland.
He was employed by Victor Cushwa and Sons in Williamsport for 16 years, retiring in 1966.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served during World War II.
He was a member of American Legion Post 202 in Williamsport.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eva E. Grove; three daughters, S. Regina Yohe, Sharon L. Weaver and Myra Sue Nuice; two sons, Richard Floyd Holland and Merle D. Holland; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo R. Holland and Orrville L. Holland
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.

Elizabeth C. Dull
BALTIMORE - Elizabeth Carol "Betsy" Dull, 48, of Lorien Nursing Center, and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at the nursing center.
Born Oct. 10, 1950, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Donald D. Dull of St. Leonard, Md., and the late Mabel Elizabeth "Skip" Irvine Dull.
She was a 1968 graduate of Northern High School in Baltimore.
She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Baltimore.
In addition to her father, she is survived by two daughters, Rebecca L. Hutchinson of St. Mary's County, Md., and Beth Ann Hutchinson of Louisville, Ky.; two sons, John P. Hutchinson and Nathan D. Hutchinson, both of Louisville; three sisters, Donita R. Krueger of Elkridge, Md., Ruth A. Thompson of Bel Air, Md., and Barbara E. Ward of Prince Frederick, Md.; one brother, Bruce A. Dull of Baltimore; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. The Rev. Hugh V. Nash will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill cemetery in Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Viola G. Bennett
BOONSBORO - Viola G. Bennett, 89, of 19327 Betty's Ave., died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Julia Manor Health Center in Hagerstown.
Born Oct. 16, 1909, in Somerset County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Arminta Ringer Hollada.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon N. Bennett, in 1987.
She was a retired employee of the J. J. Newberry Store in Hagerstown.
She was a member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by six daughters, Wanda Seymour of Naples, Fla., Rheda Reese of Boonsboro, Brenda Rock of State Line, Pa., and Phyllis Sturtz, Verona Marconi and Deola Forcino, all of Hagerstown; four sons, Dean Bennett of Williamsport, Kenneth Bennett of Ontario, Canada, Ormus Bennett of Union Bridge, Md., and Rick Bennett of Leesburg, Va.; one stepson, Richard Bennett of Fort Myers, Fla.; one sister, Miriam Shipley of Cumberland, Md.; one brother Darrell Hollada of Fort Hill, Pa.; 32 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Leon R. Yoder will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

John D. Clark
John Dawson Clark, 73, of 9721 Meadow Rock Drive, Hagerstown, died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born Dec. 22, 1925, in Oakland, Md., he was the son of the late John D. Sr. and Lacy Tasker Clark.
He was a graduate of Fort Hill High School, Cumberland, Md.
He retired in 1987 from Mack Trucks after 26 years and he was a former employee of Fairchild Aircrafts.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served in World War II in the Pacific.
He was a member of the John Birch Society, Western Maryland TRIM Committee, Western Maryland Sportsman's Club, American Legion of Maryland, North American Rod and Gun Club, and Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Doris A. Weagly Clark; one daughter, Deborah A. Clark Cornett of Hagerstown, one stepson, James E. Baker of Hagerstown; two sisters, Ellen Clark Schuessler of Springfield, Mo., and Naomi Clark Wilson of Frostburg, Md.; eight grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Clark Eastlake and Mary Eva Clark Shriver; and one brother, Joseph Clark.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Stephen M. Schuessler will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.

Minnie E. Barrus
Minnie Ellen Barrus, 78, of 1012 Washington Ave., Hagerstown, died Monday, April 12, 1999, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown.
Born Nov. 12, 1920, in Mount Salem, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Colonel W. and Sylvia D. Crosset Ball.
She was employed by Lipton Co. during WWII.
She was a member of Calvary Grace Brethren Church.
She was past president of Parent Teachers Association, Grand Island, N.Y.
She is survived by her husband, John Nelson Barrus; one daughter, Lynda C. Andrews of Buffalo, N.Y.; one son, John Nelson Barrus Jr.; of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; one sister, Edna Woolston of Sutton, Alaska; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Grant W. Barrus; and one brother.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Grace Brethren Church, 115 Bryan Place, Hagerstown. The Rev. Douglas A. Courter will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd., Hagerstown and Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church.
Renner L. Brewer
MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho - Renner L. Brewer of Mountain Home, and formerly of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, April 6, 1999, in Mountain Home.
He was the son of the late Renner and Julia Reid Brewer.
He retired from the military in 1972. He served in Korea and Vietnam.
He retired from the Elmore County Sheriff's Department in 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Brewer; seven children, Carolyn Strom and Kenneth Brewer, both of Mountain Home, Jeanette Adams of Boise, Idaho, Brenda Garner of Seattle, Wash., Renner Brewer Jr. of Sacramento, Calif., Theresa Brewer of Florida and David Brewer of South Carolina; six sisters, Ruth Detloff of Bethesda, Md., Goldie Barkdoll of Clear Spring, Helen Durbin, Mildred Marker and Thelma Beard, all of Hagerstown, and Hilda Wise of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two brothers, his twin, Robert Brewer of Funkstown, and Harry Brewer of Tehachapi, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
Burial was Saturday, April 10, in Mountain Home, Idaho.
Edgar L. Stotelmyer
Edgar Lee Stotelmyer, 96, of 1032 Rose Hill Ave., Hagerstown, died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 22, 1902, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Harvey and Flora Stotelmyer.
He also is survived by two grandsons, Robert C. Stotelmyer Jr. and Rick Stotelmyer, both of Hagerstown.
