Michael J. Rasinski
Michael James Rasinski died unexpectedly Feb. 10 at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown. He was 46.
Mr. Rasinski lived on Loganview Drive until 1981, when he moved to the Rosewood Center.
He is survived by father Edward J. Raskinki of Dundalk, sisters Linda M. Taylor, Lisa A. Green and Erin M. Dennison, brothers Richard A. Rasinski and Donald J. Smoot and many nieces and nephews. His mother, Dorothy C. Rasinski, died in 1981.
Following Feb. 14 services at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, he was buried at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
Edward T. Talley Sr.
Edward T. Talley Sr., 78, who lived in Gray Manor for 20 years, died Jan. 20 at his home in Deltona, Fla.
Mr. Talley was a mechanical foreman at Bethlehem Steel for 31 years, retiring in 1982. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Deltona Alliance Church, where he served as an usher.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, V. Christine (nee Shores), son Edward T. Talley Jr., daughter Peggy T. Broda, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brother Robert C. Talley of Richmond and sisters Finis T. Rumley of Orbinsonia, Pa., and Pauline T. Glazier of Petersburg, Va.
Funeral services were held Jan. 22 in Deltona.

Ruth Ann Walto
Stanbrook homemaker Ruth Ann Walto, 76, died Feb. 9 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
The former Ruth Ann Cole, who was born and raised in Ashville, N.C., moved to Dundalk in the late 1950s. For the last 20 years, she lived in Stanbrook.
A deeply religious person, Mrs. Walto devoted her life to taking care of her home and family.
In addition to her husband of 41 years, Joseph J. Walto, she is survived by four sons, Glen and Jay Edwards and Russell and Samuel Walto, sister Estoy Shelton and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers.
Services were held Feb. 12 at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home followed by interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
Lacy H. Wood Jr.
Lacy Harrison Wood Jr., 67, died of a heart attack Jan. 26 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Mr. Wood lived in Old Dundalk since 1969.
Born in Charlottesville, Va., and raised in Baltimore, he was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1989 with 35 years of service.
He was a fan of car racing and a member of the Dizzy Pleasure Club.
Survivors are his wife of almost 42 years, Joan (nee DiMaio), son Lacy H. Wood III, daughter Dawn Camponeschi and eight grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 31 at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home followed by interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
Jennie L. Aus
Homemaker Jennie Luco Aus, 86, died Feb. 2 at Longview Nursing Home in Manchester, Md.
Mrs. Aus, who was born in Coatsville, Pa., and her husband, Edward A. Aus, moved to Penwood Terrace in 1938 and to Oakleigh Beach Road in 1980. Mr. Aus died in 1982.
She was a member of Lodge Forest United Methodist Church, IOOF Rebekah Lodge in Fort Howard and North Point Pleasure Club. She also enjoyed traveling and had recently visited Jamaica and Hawaii.
She is survived by children Edward R., Alfred, Robert and Frederick Aus, Celeste Lotz, Mary Healy, Frances Yates, Patricia Halphenstine and Susan Collins, 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She also was predeceased by daughters Anna Durkin and Elsa Roger and a number of brothers and sisters.
Ethel L. Ethridge
Watersedge resident Ethel L. Ethridge (nee Hecker), 60, died at home Feb. 16 after a three-year struggle with cancer.
She retired with 20 years of service as a secretary for United Auto Workers Union Local 738.
She belonged to Dundalk United Methodist Church, where the Rev. Marvin Kline conducted services Feb. 19.
Other memberships included Dundalk American Legion Auxiliary Unit 38 and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 451.
In addition to her husband, William “Phil” Ethridge, she is survived by sons Mark and Joseph T. Letke Jr., daughters Kimberly Letke and Melodie (Billings) Ritz, sister Dorothy Blaha and three grandchildren. She was buried at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
Eva M. Friesner
Longtime Edgemere resident Eva M. Friesner (nee Sakowski), 83, died of pneumonia and a stroke Feb. 12 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Born in Detroit and raised in Edgemere, Mrs. Friesner worked in Bethlehem Steel’s assorting room until her retirement in 1970.
She was a talented seamstress and shared her love for sewing with family and friends. She enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Other survivors are children Joan M. Ryan, Janet L. Duncan and Tereva E. Davis, brother Julius Sakowski and sisters Emilie DeWeese and Irene Batko. She was predeceased by husband Joseph M. Friesner, grandson Randy S. Duncan and brothers George and Norman Sakowski.
Services were held Feb. 16 at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home. Interment followed at Parkwood Cemetery.
Loretta Harding
Services will be held Thursday, March 9, for Loretta Harding (nee Sisler), who died of Alzheimer’s disease March 6 at Brightwood Nursing Home.
Mrs. Harding was 79 and lived in Inverness.
The service begins 11:30 a.m. at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Ave. Burial follows at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
Mrs. Harding belonged to Inverness Presbyterian Church and worked in the Bear Creek Elementary School cafeteria for about 20 years.
Predeceased in 1987 by her husband, Willard Harding, she is survived by daughters Mary Prevatt of Bel Air and Joan Cuzzart of Ellicott City, five brothers and four grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home was scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Raymond R. Johnston
Former Dundalk resident Raymond R. Johns-ton, 56, died Feb. 24 at his home in Bel Air.
Born in Cumberland, he was a teen-ager when his family moved to Dundalk. He married Sharon Roselle Hovermale in 1964.
Mr. Johnston worked as an engineering specialist for Sinai Hospital for 18 years and taught courses at Dundalk and Harford community colleges. He had earlier worked for Bethlehem Steel.
He loved photography and spending time with his family in Bedford, Pa., and at a vacation home in West Virginia.
In addition to his wife, survivors are mother Margaret Johnston, daughters Shelley Price, Ginger Rigney and Tresa Johnston, sisters Carol Gay and Doris Pettrone and two grandchildren.
Services on Feb. 26 were followed by interment at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.

Dorothy Krupinsky
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 10, for Bear Creek resident Dorothy Cant-well Wanhoff Krupinsky (nee Killmeyer), 85, who died March 6 at Franklin Square Hospital following a five-week illness.
The noon service will be conducted by the Rev. Nick Shanholtz of Dundalk Assembly of God at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home, 7922 Wise Ave. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
A homemaker and a Waterview Road resident for seven years, Mrs. Krupinsky had earlier lived in Edgemere. Years ago, she was president of the ladies auxiliary of a Democratic club in Baltimore.
Survivors are son Albert Cantwell, daughters Ger-aldine Petterson, Fern Hoopengardner and Doro-thy Gaydosh, who shared an April 2 birthday with her mother, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husbands Harry Cantwell, Albert Wanhoff and John Krupinsky, daughter Delores Fistek and son Timothy Cantwell.
Visitation at the funeral home was scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, March 8 and 9, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Pauline R. Lucas
Pauline Rachel Lucas (nee Shiflett) died Feb. 26 at Franklin Square Hospital. She was 73.
Born in Mount Fair, Va., and raised on a farm there, she and her husband and family moved to Edgemere in the 1950s. They then lived in Sparrows Point until the town was torn down in the 1970s, when they returned to Edgemere.
Mrs. Lucas devoted her life not only to her own five children, but also to many foster children, including Wayne and Carl Baugher, and the other family members she helped to raise. Gardening, canning, quilting and crocheting were among her favorite pastimes.
She is survived by children Raymond, Joseph and Vincent Lucas, Brenda Evans and Tammy Lewis, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, Raymond L. Lucas, died in 1988.
Services at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home on March 1 were followed by interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
Marilyn J. McCormack
Lifelong Dundalk resident Marilyn McCormack died suddenly at home Feb. 28 after a brief illness. She was 68.
The former Marilyn Justine Naper, daughter of the late John G. and Mildred Naper, grew up in Watersedge. She was a 1950 Dundalk High School graduate and was chosen prom queen during her senior year.
After high school, she worked for a time before her marriage to John J. McCormack and becoming a full-time homemaker and mother. She was a devoted Christian.
She enjoyed bingo, 10-pin bowling and frequent trips to Cape Coral, Fla., to visit her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Sam Poole, and her grandson.
She is also survived by son Dennis J. McCormack II of Dundalk, three other grandchildren and many other family members. She was predeceased by her husband and a brother, John Naper.
Services were held March 3 at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home followed by interment at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
Cleo C. Richards
West Inverness resident Cleo Claudette Richards, 58, died of cancer Jan. 27 at Gilchrist Hospice Center.
The former Cleo Shewbridge grew up in Sparrows Point, then lived on Dineen Drive for 30 years. She worked 10 years as an assembly line packer for Rock-Tenn Co. on Broening Highway.
Survivors are her husband, Donald W. Richards Sr., sons William Clark and Donald Richards Jr., daughter Dawn Clark, brothers Whitey, Bo and Jake Shewbridge, sisters Frances Suprik, Kate Baier and Dixie Weidner and three grandsons. She was predeceased by her brother, Grover C. Shewbridge, who died Jan. 21.
Services were held Jan. 29 at Connelly Funeral Home.

Grover C. Shewbridge
Retired Bethlehem Steel shipyard foreman Grover C. “Sonny” Shewbridge died of cancer Jan. 21 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He was 68 and a longtime West Inverness resident.
A Sparrows Point native, Mr. Shewbridge served with the U.S. Army paratroopers.
In addition to his wife, the former Emma Mullen (Herdegen), he is survived by sons Cole Shewbridge and Norman and Larry Herdegen, daughter Lori Piper, brothers Whitey, Bo and Jake Shewbridge, sisters Frances Suprik, Kate Baier and Dixie Wiedner and four grandchildren. His sister, Cleo C. Richards, died Jan. 27.
Services were held Jan. 24 at Connelly Funeral Home.
Charles L. Tetrick Jr.
Charles Livingston Tetrick Jr., 47, died suddenly of a heart attack Feb. 10 at his home on Eastdale Road.
A 1970 graduate of Dundalk High School, he had a lifelong interest in music.
Mr. Tetrick, who drove for Jimmy’s taxi service, had earlier worked for Bethlehem Steel.
Predeceased by his wife, Carolyn (nee Powell), he is survived by sons Charles L. Tetrick III and Cory Tetrick, daughter Cathleen Tetrick, sisters Carolyn Gonzalez, Melody Seibert, Sue Andrede and Penny Williams and brother Ronald Tetrick.
Services were held Feb. 14 at Duda-Ruck Funeral Home. Interment was private.
Nellie M. Bigwood
Nellie Mitchell Bigwood, 83, who taught at Dundalk and Merritt Point elementary schools and retired as librarian at Berkshire Elementary, died of Alz-heimer’s disease at Manor Care nursing home.
A graduate of Salisbury State College, she started her career in 1939 as principal of a two-room school in Charles County.
She taught at Dundalk and Merritt Point elementaries from 1949 to 1968, when she became Berkshire Elementary’s librarian, a position she held until her retirement in 1977.
She belonged to Henry Brecht Chapter 43, Order of the Eastern Star, Bou-Tem-Sci, DeMolay Mother’s Club and St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
She is survived by children Suzanne Atkinson and James Bigwood and two grandchildren.
Her husband, James Bigwood, died in 1987.
A memorial service was held Feb. 17 at Ruck Towson Funeral Home followed by graveside services at Greenlawn Cemetery in Cambridge.
Walter Boyer
Broening Road resident Walter Ernest Boyer, 86, a retired steelworker, died Feb. 21 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Mr. Boyer had 38 years of service with Bethlehem Steel when he retired almost 25 years ago.
A U.S. Army veteran, he belonged to Helena IOOF Lodge 171, Patapsco Masonic Lodge 183, Acacia Club of Dundalk and St. Timothy’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He loved reading, golfing, bowling and completing crossword puzzles and was an avid Baltimore sports fan.
He and his wife, the former Verda Morlock, traveled to London and Bermuda and throughout the United States.
In addition to his wife of more than 62 years, he is survived by daughters Carol Diehl and Jean Michler, sister Elizabeth Boyer, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother Bruce Boyer and sister Catherine Emmons.
Services were held Feb. 24 at Connelly Funeral Home. Interment followed at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
