Catherine V. Caudo
Catherine V. Caudo, 83, of 48 Madison Ave., Hagerstown, died Monday, March 22, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born June 14, 1915, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Cora E. Selby Roberts.
She had been a waitress in Baltimore.
She was a Jehovah's Witness.
She is survived by a son, Anthony J. Caudo Sr. of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. James Fowler will officiate.
Visitation will be today from 1 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Katherine E. Beckley
FAIRPLAY, Md. - Katherine Elizabeth Beckley, 86, of 9024 Bob Lane, died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 17, 1912, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Otho and Elizabeth Neikirk Foltz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Daniel Beckley Sr., in 1992.
She was a member of Salem Reformed United Church of Christ.
She was a member of Fairplay Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary; and a life member of Dairy Shrine.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy L. Forsythe of Hagerstown; a son, Robert D. Beckley Jr. of Fairplay; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Sharon L. Forbes will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Irene E. Ebersole
Irene E. Ebersole, 94, of Mennonite Old People's Home, 13436 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown, and formerly of Maugansville, died Monday, March 22, 1999, at the home.
Born Sept. 27, 1904, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Christian S. and Minnie Elizabeth Martin Ebersole.
She provided care for people in their homes.
She was a member of Miller's Mennonite Church near Leitersburg.
She is survived by a sister, Pearl V. Ebersole, of Mennonite Old People's Home; 22 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Naomi Williams; and four brothers, Paul Ebersole, Clarence Ebersole, Leonard Eversole and Harold Ebersole.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Miller's Mennonite Church near Leitersburg. Miller's Mennonite Church Ministry will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, Pa.; and Thursday at 9 a.m. at the church.
The family requests the omission of flowers.
Travis C.H. Jenkins
Travis Charles Hayes Jenkins, 5, of 11334 Rock Hill Road, Hagerstown, died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 7, 1993, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Showalter Charles and Mary Ruth Myers Jenkins.
He attended Truth for Youth School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandmother, Lorraine P. Myers of Hagerstown; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Lee Hall of New Baden, Ill.; paternal grandfather, Showalter Jenkins of Covington, La.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Hayes Myers.
Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Lucille Marquiss will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Eardley J. Creager
Eardley J. "Jack" Creager, 83, of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 247 Highland Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at the nursing home.
Born Jan. 27, 1916, in Fairview, Pa. he was the son of the late Sidney H. Sr. and Margaret V. Bricker Creager.
He attended Quincy Township schools.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was employed as a timekeeper for Washington Township. Prior to retiring in 1979, he worked in the Chaser Department of Landis Machine Co. in Waynesboro for 37 years.
He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waynesboro.
He was a member of several fraternal clubs in Waynesboro.
He is survived by two sisters, Reba E. Moats and Julia M. Harbaugh, both of Waynesboro; two brothers, Sidney H. Creager Jr. and Alfred Creager, both of Waynesboro; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, M. Evelyn Socks, Mable I. Bingaman, Josephine V. Hayes and Betty L. Hurley.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Bishop G. Lamar Bonner will officiate. Burial will be in Quincy cemetery in Quincy.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Marion Ardella Hartle
WILLIAMSPORT - Marion Ardella Hartle, 93, of 10309 Highpoint Drive, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, March 23, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Aug. 26, 1905, in Stroudsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Blanche Marion Smith Dailey.
Her husband, Ralph Calvert Hartle, died in 1997.
She and her husband started Williamsport Nursing Home in 1948, which she owned and operated and where she worked as a registered nurse until retiring in 1972.
She was a member of Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Marjorie J. Dungan of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a sister, Bessie Grace Dailey of Williamsport; a step grandson; a step great-grandson; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Vida Blanche Arrington, and Leah Elizabeth Linnell; and one brother, Robert Smith Dailey.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. Pastor James R. Hoffer will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open after 10 a.m.
