Gary A. Newman
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Gary A. Newman, of West Palm Beach, died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999.
He was the son of Marian Jacks and Paul Newman.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Deborah and Ginger; and three grandchildren, Darren, Dustin and Randa.
Services will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Quattlebaum-Holleman-Burse Funeral Home, 1201 South Olive Ave., West Palm Beach.
The family will receive friends Tuesday two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
Lillian E. Kee
Services for Lillian Elizabeth Kee, 73, of 450 Park Place, Hagerstown, who died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at King's Apostle Church, 125 W. Bethel St. Assistant pastor, Darin Mency will officiate.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Services, Frederick.
Frank S. Pacyna
Frank Stanley Pacyna, 81, of 17718 Woodcrest Road, Hagerstown, died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Nov. 26, 1917, in Scranton, Pa., he was the son of the late Michael and Hedwig Netter Pacyna.
He was a graduate of Johnson School of Technology in Scranton.
He was employed with Statton Furniture Co. for 38 years.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He was a member of Eagles Inc. of Waynesboro; and Redmen Tribe 84 of Williamsport.
He was an avid sportsman.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gladys Holmes Pacyna; a sister, Jeannette McGettrick of Scranton; 15 nieces and nephews; and two great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Verna Stanavage and Helen Nadzan; two brothers, John Pacyna and Michael Pacyna; and a niece.
Services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. George A. Limmer and the Rev. Darrell L. Layman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Prayers will be recited Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lillian E. Kee
Lillian Elizabeth Kee, 73, of 450 Park Place, Hagerstown, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at 13027 Orchid Drive.
Born April 17, 1925, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Owens and Nina Kee.
She was a 1943 graduate of North Street School.
She retired in 1989 from Rohr Industry.
She was employed by Fairchild Corp.; The County Commuter; and Eastern Products.
She was a member of W.E. Campher Memorial, King's Apostle Holiness Church, where she served as a deaconess.
She is survived by two daughters, Elder F. Darlene Cooper of Hagerstown and Mrs. Lyn R. Hill of Lawton, Okla.; a son, her pastor, Elder Derek H. Kee of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; cousins; and a family friend, Tyrone Adams of Hagerstown.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at King's Apostle Church, 125 W. Bethel St. Assistant pastor, Darin Mency will officiate.

Winfred Miner
SAN ANTONIO - Winfred "Jim" Miner, 83, of San Antonio, died Jan. 15, 1999, at his home.
Born Nov. 27, 1915, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Lester H. and Ruth Trovinger Miner.
He was employed as a procurement officer at Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio.
He also was a blue bird volunteer in the Methodist Hospital for 14 years.
He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio.
He is survived by his wife, Carman H. Miner; one son, Richard Goldbach of San Antonio; one daughter, Ann Brendler of San Antonio; two grandchildren; and several cousins in Hagerstown.
Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Concordia Lutheran Church in San Antonio. Burial was in Mission Burial Park North in San Antonio.
Ethel I. Weaver
HANCOCK - Ethel Irene Weaver, 88, of East Main Street, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born May 2, 1910, in Friendsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Christopher Columbus and Orpha Wakefield Sines.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Raymond Weaver, in 1962.
She was a member of Hancock United Methodist Church, Hancock.
She is survived by four daughters, Nancy Hottel of Berkeley Springs, Dora Ann Hart and Betty Hammond, both of Baltimore, and Iris Tobin of Hagerstown; three sons, Eugene Weaver and Bruce Weaver, both of Berkeley Springs, and Rodney Weaver of Hancock; a sister, Dolly Livengood of Bruston Mills, Pa.; two brothers, Ralph Sines and Tom Sines of Friendsville; 20 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Weaver; two sisters, Pauline White and Iva Kelly; and two brothers, Eugene Sines and Arnold Sines.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock. The Rev. Robert D. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Tonoloway Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Route 655 North, Hancock.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open from noon.

Dorothy L. Phillips
BRUNSWICK, Md. - Dorothy Lee Phillips, 67, of 8 N. Dayton Ave., died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, Md.
Born Jan. 16, 1932, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Clyde William Sr. and Dorothy Whyonia Booth Null.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Nelson Phillips, in 1989.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Steadman-Keenan Post 96; and Women of the Moose, both of Brunswick.
She is survived by a son, Richard A. Paradis of Lovettsville, Va.; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Phillips of Atlanta; a sister, Louise Humerick of Knoxville, Md.; a brother, Clyde W. Null Jr. of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, 100 Petersville Road, Brunswick. The Rev. Roland England will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Lovettsville.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home; and Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral home will be open Saturday from 9 a.m.
