Helen A. Koebel
Helen Ann Koebel, 76, of 17813 Greentree Terrace, Hagerstown, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at Homewood Retirement Center, Williamsport.
Born Jan. 19, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Gertrude Fischer Calandrillo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Koebel in 1992.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Rinker of Annandale, N.J. and Eillen Aaronson of Brunswick, Md.; two sons, James F. Koebel Jr. of Funkstown and Kenneth Koebel of Colonie, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Calandrillo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 17628 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown. The Rev. Christopher Moore will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rocky Gap Veterans cemetery in Flintstone, Md.
Friends may call today from 1 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
Irma E. Campbell
Irma Ella Campbell, 80, of 18420 Woodside Drive, Hagerstown, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Feb. 11, 1918, in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Franz and Emily Zosel Borner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee Campbell, in 1990.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by two sisters, Lottie Green of Boonsboro and Alfrieda Seith of Germany; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Naomi L. Ensminger
Naomi Lovell Ensminger, 73, of 421 W. Church St., Hagerstown, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at her home.
Born March 16, 1925, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Victor A. and Bessie Albertha Schuyler Souders.
She was retired from Interwoven Company. She was previously employed with Hagerstown Shoe Company. She was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church.
She is survived by her husband, Milton E. Ensminger; a daughter, Carol Wagaman of Hagerstown; two sisters, Dorothy Souders and Larraine Shepherd, both of Hagerstown; a grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Moore; and three brothers, Paul Souders, Earl Souders and Calvin Souders.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Dale R. Carver will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Grace E. Mason
Grace Estella Mason, 82, of 120 Alexander St., died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born July 7, 1916, in Yellow Springs W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ira W. and Pearl Naomi Pennington Mason.
She was retired from Hagerstown Shoe Co.
She attended Valley Grace Brethren Church.
She is survived by one son, Donald B.L. Mason of Hagerstown; one sister, Nellie Miller of Hagerstown; three brothers, C. David Mason of Yellow Springs, John D. Mason of Fishel, W.Va. and Kenneth E. Mason of Arizona; two nieces, who lived with her and whom she raised, Brenda Mason and Glenda Mason, both at home.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Marshall W. Mason.
Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., in Hagerstown. The Rev. Daniel J. Pritchett will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

Richard F. Weisbarth
MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio - Richard F. Weisbarth, 76, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen B. Petit Weisbarth.
He is survived by three daughters, Patricia Malejko of Maryland, Mary Murphy and Barbara Highison, both of Nevada; and six grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Paschal Baylon Church, Richmond Heights, Ohio. Burial will be in All Saints cemetery in Ohio.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Schulte and Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, 5252 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst, Ohio.

Lind C. Sevilla
HANCOCK - Lind Calatrava Sevilla, of Tollgate Ridge, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born in Loon, Providence of Bohol, Philippines, he was the son of the late Alipio and Cecilia Calatrava Sevilla.
He was a retired professor from University of Bohol, Philippines.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in World War II.
He was a member of Orange Baptist Church, Long Beach, Calif.
He was a member of Dagohoy Post 70 American Legion in the Philippines. He was instrumental in founding World War II Veterans Memorial Fund.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Filomena G. Garnica Sevilla; three daughters, Lee Corbett of Hancock, Ruby Cerna and Milagros Diano, both of the Philippines; three sons, William Sevilla of Seattle, Wash., Jessie Sevilla and Joseph Sevilla, both of the Philippines; one brother, Fortunato Sevilla of the Philippines; 26 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, two sons and two sisters.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., in Hancock. The Rev. William Sevilla will officiate. Burial will be in Catalpa United Methodist Cemetery, Hancock. Military services will be conducted by Tri-State Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will be open Monday from 4 to 9 p.m. for the convenience of friends.
Robert L. Cross
HANCOCK - Robert Lee Cross, 60, of Baptist Road, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at Morgan County War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Born Aug. 23, 1938, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Dolly M. Robison Cross of Maugansville and the late Gerald Willis Cross.
He was a 1956 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
He retired in December of 1998 from Boilermakers Local 193 in Baltimore, where he was a welder.
He was a veteran of Korea, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a member of American Legion Post 202 in Williamsport, North American Hunting Club and National Rifle Association.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, of 38 years, Shirley M. Smith Cross; one daughter, Trina Mauk of Hancock, three sons, Terry Cross of Fort Meade, Md., Bobby Cross of Needmore, Pa. and Jerry Cross of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; three sisters, Patsy Rohr of Hagerstown, Jane Gates of Clearbrook, Va., and Gatha "Sis" Howell of Leitersburg; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Cross Jr. and Paul R. Cross.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Hancock United Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert G. Brennan Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. Military services will be conducted by Tri-State Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., in Hancock and Monday, one hour prior to services, at the church. For the convenience of friends the funeral home will be open Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
