Shane E. Kuhn
DOUGLAS, Wyo. - Shane Edgar Kuhn, 22, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at his home.
Born Aug. 23, 1976, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Edgar Kuhn of Lusk, Ariz., and Caroll Racey Kuhn of Douglas.
He received his education in Phoenix and Lusk, Wyo.
He worked as a laborer on drilling rigs for D.C. Drilling in Lusk.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Shannon Peterson of Lusk; his maternal grandfather, James Racey of Hagerstown; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.
There will be no funeral services.
Arrangements are by Converse Funeral Chapel of Douglas, Ariz.
Henry P. Fisher
Henry Phillip Fisher, 74, of 814 W. Washington St., died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Feb. 23, 1924, in Myersville, Md., he was the son of the late Charles Henry and Cora May Early Fisher.
He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by one son, Darrell Wayne Fisher of Hagerstown; seven sisters, Pauline Hausler of Braddock, Md., Marie Wills and Barbara Baugher, both of Frederick, Md., Helen Irene Delaughter and Dorothy E. Kline, both of Myersville, and Phyllis Wills of Walkersville, Md.; three brothers, Walter E. Fisher of Burkittsville, Md., Ralph Fisher and George Washington Fisher, both of Hagerstown; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Gloria E. Fisher; and two brothers, David E. Fisher and Charles D. Fisher.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Harmony Church of the Brethren, Myersville. The Rev. Tracy Wiser will officiate. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Myersville.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.

Phyllis C. Rohrer
Phyllis Colleen Rohrer, 71, of 19532 Carrie Court, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village.
Born Oct. 31, 1927, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry Martin Sr., and Lucy Alice Palmer Rohrer.
She was employed with Brook Meadow Provision Corporation as their bookkeeper for 52 years.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, treasurer and taught Bible school.
She was a member of many duckpin and turf bowling leagues and of Funkstown American Legion Post 211.
She is survived by one sister, Alice Irene Burkett of Hagerstown; three brothers, William Harry Rohrer, Robert Theodore Rohrer and Harry Martin Rohrer Jr., all of Hagerstown; and three nieces, whom she raised, Karen Colleen Doub, Mickey Lynn Moore and Jacqueline Luci Burkett, all of Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Kathleen Harsh and Mary Jane Rohrer; and five brothers, Lester Martin Rohrer, Arnold Ray Rohrer, Fenton Luther Rohrer, Raymond Earl Rohrer and Howell Herbert Rohrer.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 216 North Cleveland Avenue, Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond H. Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg.
There will be no viewing.

Alice A. Sanbowers
SHARPSBURG - Alice Alma Sanbowers, 68, of 4901 General Branch Road, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.
Born April 15, 1930, in Brunswick, Md., she was the daughter of Marion Axline Smoots of Knoxville, Md., and the late Foster Smoots.
She is survived by one daughter, Malea Sanbowers of Sharpsburg; and one son, Sandy Sanbowers of Bedford, Pa.
Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
There will be no viewing.

Reta I. Albaugh
THURMONT, Md. - Reta Iona Albaugh, 97, of 5 Locust Street, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999, at her home.
Born Dec. 29, 1901, in Union Bridge, Md., she was the daughter of the late Calvin C. and Elfie M. Boone Fogle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joshua Albaugh.
She was a 1926 graduate of Frederick City School of Nursing and was the eldest registered nurse at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Thurmont.
She was a member of Thurmont Senior Citizens and sang with the Catoctin Canaries. She was the last of her immediate family.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Fay Hobson of North Attleboro, Mass.; and one son, Ronald Lee Albaugh of Rocky Ridge, Md.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ, 101 E. Main Street, Thurmont. The Rev. Donald Hammond will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery, Libertytown, Md.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Joshua Shayne Phelps, 2 months, of 1306 Outer Drive, died suddenly Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998 at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, Md.
Born Oct. 12, 1998, in Frederick, he was the son of Jon Dwight Jr., and Stephanie Lillard Phelps.
He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Debbie Lillard of Frederick, and Gary Lillard of Woodbine, Md.; paternal grandparents, Joe and Kathy Thomas of Frederick; paternal grandfather, Jon D. Phelps, Sr., of Frederick; Godparents Richard and Tina Robinette of Hagerstown, a special friend, Sharon Odom of Frederick; and several great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in Etchison Memorial Chapel of Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The Rev. Duane L. Beck will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the funeral home.
