LEONA R. BRADLEY
LONACONING - Leona R. Bradley, 96, formerly of 67 Douglas Avenue, Lonaconing, died Saturday, June 28, 1997, at City Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va.
Born May 21, 1901, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Margaret (Shea) Grimes.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Alger L. Bradley, on May 8, 1964; one son, William L. Grimes; one granddaughter; and three grandsons.
Mrs. Bradley was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Georges Creek, Lonaconing, and Senior Citizens of Barton and Martinsburg, W.Va., Lonaconing Republican Club, and the American Legion James P. Love Post No. 92 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are one son Robert K. Bradley, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; two daughters, Helen Ann Redick, Coatesville, Pa., and Jean L. Taylor, Martinsburg, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, 8 East Main St., Lonaconing, on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. with Sister Marietta Culhane, O.S.F., Pastoral Life Director, officiating.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
A Christian wake service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
DOROTHY L. BRADSHAW
CRESAPTOWN - Dorothy Louise Bradshaw, 63, formerly of Cresaptown, then a resident of Lions Manor Nursing Home, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born Jan. 6, 1934, in Prince Georges County, she was the daughter of the late George Collins.
Surviving are a daughter Anita Livengood, Grantsville; and two grandchildren.
At Ms. Bradshaw's request, her body will be cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hafer Funeral Home, 1302 National Highway, LaVale.
ANNA P. BRADY
CUMBERLAND - Anna Pearl Brady, 96, of Cumberland, died Wednesday, May 7, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born July 19, 1900, in Slanesville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Margaret (Brelsford) Ginevan.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Brady; one brother, Oliver Ginevan; and one sister, Mae Klein.
Mrs. Brady was a homemaker.
She was Baptist by faith.
Surviving are two daughters, Margaret Susan Horning, and Geraldine Virginia Ward and husband Philip, all of Cumberland; one grandson, Rodney Horning and wife Barbara, Cumberland; two great-grandchildren, Roan and Nolana Horning; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Fred Parker officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
ERIN L. BRADY
GRAYSLAKE, Ill. - Erin L. Brady, 21, of Grayslake, formerly of Cumberland, died Sunday, March 30, 1997, in Waukegan, Ill., from injuries suffered in a car accident.
She was the daughter of Michael and Barbara (Curtis) Brady of Grayslake.
A graduate of Grayslake High School, Miss Brady worked as an office manager in a dental office.
She was engaged to be married in August of this year to Mark Sneyd.
She was a very warm, caring young woman and was a good daughter and granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, William P. Sr. and Mary E. Brady, Cumberland; one brother, Michael J. Brady and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
The Strang Funeral Home, Grayslake, is in charge of arangements.
HARVEY W. "JAKE" BRADLEY
CARPENDALE, W.Va. - Harvey Winfred "Jake" Bradley, 69, of Carpendale, died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997, at his residence.
Born May 28, 1928, in Lonaconing, he was the son of the late Millard Fillmore Bradley and Barbara Ann (Beeman) Bradley.
He also was preceded in death by his step-mother, Marcella Donald Bradley; and one sister, Jennie Donaldson.
Mr. Bradley was a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy.
He received his bachelor of science degree from West Virginia University.
Mr. Bradley was retired from Potomac Farms Dairy, where he had been the Plant Manager.
Mr. Bradley was a member of Holy Cross United Methodist Church, where he also belonged to the Men's Bible Class. He was Past President of the Ridgeley Lions Club, where he had been a member for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Isabelle (Robinson) Bradley; one daughter, Terry R. Parsons and husband, Rich, Ridgeley, W.Va.; two sons, Kim M. Bradley and wife, Tammy, and Brian P. Bradley and wife Sandi, all of Ridgeley; one brother, Fillmore M. Bradley and wife, Doris, Conneaut, Ohio; two half-brothers, Donald Bradley and wife, Donna, Lonaconing, and William Raymond Bradley and wife, JoAnn, Bowling Green; two sisters, Beatrice Davis, Ridgeley, and Margaret Stafford and husband, Earl, Lonaconing; two half-sisters, Betty Lou Grogg, Lonaconing, and Norma Clark and husband Richard, Barton; and five grandchildren, Jamie Bradley, Travis Bradley, Trevor Bradley, Trent Bradley, and Jennifer Parsons.
Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

WALTER "LOPPY" BRAITHWAITE
KEYSER, W.Va. - Walter "Loppy" Braithwaite, 77, of Route 5, Box 89, Keyser, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 1997, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born Aug. 30, 1919, in Hampshire, he was the son of the late Thomas Jefferson and Viola (Powell) Braithwaite. He also was preceded in death by four brothers, Arthur, Howard, Jim, and Jesse Braithwaite; and two sisters, Sadie Wildman, and Pearl Cosner; and one granddaughter, Sally Ann Braithwaite.
Mr. Braithwaite was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He was retired from Masteller Coal Co. He attended Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church of Keyser. He was a member of the United Mine Workers No. 1444, and a former member of the Keyser Rescue Squad.
Surviving are his wife, Martha (Maynard) Braithwaite; seven sons, Tom Braithwaite and wife Jean, Elk Garden, Richard Braithwaite and wife Donna, Cross, Paul Braithwaite and wife Norma, Keyser, Donnie Braithwaite and wife Betty, Keyser, Gary Braithwaite and wife Debbie, Cross, Dale Braithwaite and wife Tammie, Keyser, and Dave Braithwaite and wife Tammy, Keyser; and six daughters, Judy Roy and husband Jim, Keyser, Connie Hesse and husband Bud, Fort Ashby, Sandy Baker and husband Jerry, Keyser, Lena Warnick and husband Dwight, Keyser, Debbie Baker and husband Edward, Keyser, and Sharon Harvey and husband Tom, Cross; 42 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Keyser, on Monday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Funkhouser and the Rev. Steve Landis officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

MARTHA E. BRAMBLE
CUMBERLAND - Martha Evelyn Bramble, 82, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, July 15, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born May 2, 1915, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late Walter Allen and Mary Agnes (Collins) Crowe. She also was preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Bramble; two brothers, Lewis Crowe and Alfred Crowe; and one sister, Rose Mary Smith.
Mrs. Bramble was a member of the AARP.
Surviving are one daughter, Diana Booth and husband Donald, Frostburg; two sons, Donald E. Bramble, Bordentown, N.J., and Herbert Allen Bramble and wife Janet, Ridgeley, W.Va.; two brothers, Wilbert Crowe and Reford Crowe, both of Mount Savage; one sister, Gladys Crowe, Mount Savage; and six grandchildren, Laura Bramble, Daphne Bramble, Brian Bramble, Gregory Bramble, Trinity Booth and Donald Booth.
Friends will be received at the George-Upchurch Funeral Home, 202 Greene Street, Cumberland, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Edward Dickel officiating.

ELLERSLIE - Marie Bridget Brandt, 70, of Ellerslie, died Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born May 6, 1927, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Patrick L. and Helen C. (Burns) Manley.
Mrs. Brandt was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Beall High School and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cumberland.
Mrs. Brandt was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Donald H. Brandt; one son, Donald P. Brandt, Ellerslie; two daughters, Rosemarie Raymond and husband Rodney, Cumberland, and Michele Knotts and husband George, Ellerslie; one sister, Eileen Wilson and husband William, Medina, Ohio; three grandchildren, Megan M. Raymond, G. Lucas Knotts, and Kristin M. Knotts; and several nieces and nephews.
