MADISON H. WARSAW
Madison Hope Warsaw, infant daughter of Bruce A. Warsaw II and Marcella N. Moreland, both of Oakland, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born Nov. 30, 2002, in Oakland.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Royce G. and Vonda A. (Loughry) Moreland, Oakland; her paternal grandparents, Bruce A. and Cindy E. (Kitzmiller) Warsaw, Oakland; maternal great-grandmother, Selma F. (Jordan) Moreland, Oakland; and paternal great-grandmother, Kathleen M. (Rohrbaugh) (Kitzmiller) Evans, Oakland.
A service was held in the Fairview Church of the Brethren on Sunday, Dec. 15, with the Rev. David Moon and Rev. Paul Snyder officiating.
Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery.
The Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, was in charge of arrangements.
EDITH V. LLEWELLYN
Edith Virginia Llewellyn, 63, Swanton, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born Jan. 10, 1939, on Dan's Mountain, she was a sister of the late Joseph and Clara (Leake) Steele.
She was a member of Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, the music director, and the children's ministry coordinator. She was also a volunteer at the Mountain Top Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Surviving are her husband, Robert C. Llewellyn; one daughter, Carla J. Anderson, Middlebourne, W.Va.; one brother, Joseph Steele, Corapolis, Pa.; three sisters, Esther Wilson, Frostburg, Edna Llewellyn, Lonaconing, and June Clark, Cresaptown; and two grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport. A service was held at the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church in Chestnut Grove on Tuesday, Dec. 17, with the Rev. Donald Nelson officiating.
Interment was in the Sunset Memorial Park, near Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in her memory to the Mountain Top Crisis Pregnancy Center or the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church.
MARY P. PAUGH
Mary Patsy Paugh, 64, Elk Garden, W.Va., died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born July 6, 1938, in Elk Garden, she was a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Simons) Bircher. She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Lee Paugh; two brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Junior Paugh; two sons, Jerald R. Paugh, Elk Garden, and Marvin Thompson; one daughter, Aletha Dunithan, Elk Garden; three brothers, George Bircher, Petersburg, W.Va., and Douglas and Larry Bircher, Elk Garden; and seven grandchildren.
Friends were received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Kitzmiller. A service was conducted at the Nethken Hill Methodist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 18. with the Rev. Ann Harrison officiating.
Interment was in the Kalbaugh Cemetery.

John Kasen Cheshire, stillborn son of Mark and Katherine (Anderson) Cheshire, Swanton, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Liberty Ann Cheshire, at home; maternal grandparents, Gary and Cathy (Diehl) Moore, Cumberland; paternal grandparents, John Thomas and Rosalind (Lambert) Cheshire, Westernport; maternal great-grandmother, Clara Shearer, Bedford, Pa.; paternal great-grandmother, June Lambert, Westernport; and paternal great-grandmothers, Mildred Flick and Ruth Chesire, Westernport.
A graveside service was conducted at the Philos Cemetery, Westernport, on Monday, Dec. 16, with the Rev. Donald Nelson officiating.
Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, was in charge of arrangements.
DONALD E. KELLEY SR.
Donald E. Kelley Sr., 77, Elk Garden, W.Va., died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland.
Born June 19, 1925, in Hollidaysburg, Pa., he was a son of the late Hilary and Mary (Maust) Kelley. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, George and Frank Kelley; and one sister, Ruth LeCrone.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the I.U.O.E. Local 132. He was a U.S. Navy Seabee, having served in both Okinawa and Korea. He was a life member of the Mount Storm VFW Post 6735, Mount Storm, W.Va.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Regina J. (Luffey) Kelley; three sons, Donald Jr., David, and Danny, all of Hartmansville, W.Va.; four daughters, Elaine Allgood, Panama City, Fla., Sharon Kelley, Keyser, W.Va., Debbie Evans, Hartmansville, and Suzanne Baker, Fredericksburg, Va.; one stepdaughter, Diane Appedison Thompson, Keyser; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, Kitzmiller. A service was held at the Elk Garden Assembly of God Church on Tuesday, Dec. 17, with the Rev. Donald E. Marple and the Rev. Joe Tichinel officiating.

RICHARD C. BENNETT
Richard Cobun Bennett, 88, Sebastian, Fla., died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at Sebastian River Medical Center.
Born July 4, 1914, in Piedmont, W.Va., he was a son of the late William F. Bennett and Ophie Freeland Bennett. He was also preceded I n death by his first wife, Mayvelle Ramsey Bennett.
During World War II, he worked as a welder at the Glenn L. Martin Company, Baltimore. After the war, he opened Bennett's Body Shop, first in Terra Alta, W.Va., and later along Third Street in Oakland. After closing the shop and moving to Florida in 1957, he worked for National Trailer Convoy, where he remained until retirement.
He is survived by his second wife, June Deweese Bennett; one daughter, Nancy Bennett Gissell, Charleston, S.C.; four sons, Richard C. Bennett, Old Town, Fla., Jerry C. Bennett, Loudon, Tenn., William C. Bennett, Elizabeth City, N.C., and Gary C. Bennett, Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, Philip F. Bennett, Towson, and David S. Bennett, Naples, Fla.; one sister, Louise Fulton, Kingsville; six step children, Connie Wellman, Sebastian, Bill Champe, Dahlonega, Ga., Dreama Moyer, Grant, Fla., Brenda Willis, Malabar, Fla., Vivian Roth, Palm Beach, and Donnie Champe, Sebastian; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., downtown chapel, Charleston, S.C., on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
Interment was in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Carol Susan Beeman, 54, Kitzmiller, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.
Born Oct. 15, 1948, in Vindex, she was a daughter of Clifton and Myrtle (Teter) Tasker.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas L. Beeman Sr.; one son, Thomas L. Beeman Jr., Swanton; one daughter, Sue Ellen Welch, Oakland; two sisters, Sandy Johnson, Kitzmiller, and Kathy Moore, Loch Lynn; and six grandchildren.
Friends were received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home. A service was held today, Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Hi-Way Assembly of God, with the Rev. Gail Hixon officiating.
Interment was in the Turner Cemetery, Walnut Bottom.
WANETA P. METHENY
Waneta Pauline Metheny, 84, Friendsville, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at the home of her daughter.
Born Nov. 13, 1918, in Confluence, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Alvin G. and Mae (Fike) Sines. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Wayne Metheny, on May 29, 1965; two brothers, Glenn and Denzil Sines; and one stepbrother, Albert Kisner.
She was a homemaker and lifetime member of the First Christian Church, Friendsville.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Wayne Metheny and Edward Eugene Metheny, both of Friendsville; one daughter, Sandra Lee Metheny, Friendsville; two half brothers, Dr. Raymond Kisner, Troy, Ala., and Blane Kisner, Milan, Ill.; one stepbrother, Arlie Kisner, Bruceton Mills, W.Va.; one stepsister, Evelyn Thomas, Farmington, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville. A service was conducted at the First Christian Church this morning, Thursday, Dec. 19, with the Rev. Galen Beitzel officiating.
Interment was in the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
LYDIA M. BEILER
Lydia M. Beiler, 84, South Bend, Ind., died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Born May 30, 1918, in Milford, Ind., she was a daughter of the late John and Magdalena (Byler) Beiler. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Colfresh, Verna Beiler, and Mary Lou Beiler; and three brothers, Melvin, Clarence, and Joseph Beiler.
She was a retired school teacher of 18 years in Maryland and Arizona. She received her degree in teaching from Arizona State University and her master's in elementary education from the University of Maryland.
She is survived by one sister, Edna Beiler, Mishawaka, Ind.; and one brother, Jonas Beiler, Grantsville.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, in the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, with viewing two hours prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery.
ELSIE VITEZ
Elsie Vitez, 87, formerly of Mill Run, died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.
Born Jan. 14, 1915, in Guard, near Friendsville, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Czeranko) Vitez.
Elsie was a long-time resident of Mill Run prior to her employment as a store clerk in Munhall, Pa., for many years. She retired to Mill Run in the 1970s. She was a member of the Mill Run Mercy Chapel, Friendsville, and the Friendsville Senior Citizens. Due to declining health in later years, she became a resident of Goodwill Mennonite Home, where she enjoyed various activities.
Surviving are one brother, Harry Vitez, Accident; three sisters, Mary Crozier, Uniontown, Pa., Viola (Peg) Hurley, North Braddock, Pa., and Leona Ross, Friendsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, today, Thursday, Dec. 19, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A service will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Daymond Schmuck officiating.
Interment will be in the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
